Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 - October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. On October 31, 2020, it was announced that Connery had died at the age of 90.

Stanley Sunday

Biography

David Domingo, also known as Stanley Sunday or Davidson, was born in Valencia in 1973 and currently lives in Barcelona. Thanks to some 20 shorts, numerous video clips for musicians on the independent scene (Fangoria, Hidrogenesse, Doble Pletina, Javiera Mena) and wild live performances during screenings of his Super 8 and 16 mm films, he has become an outstanding figure in Spanish underground film. As well as making their way round the underground circuit, his films have been shown at some of the foremost museums, arts centres and festivals in Spain, such as Xcèntric (CCCB) and Centre d’Art Santa Monica in Barcelona, the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, the Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo and La Casa Encendida in Madrid, the Centro Galego de Artes da Imaxe and the S(8) Peripheral Film Festival in Coruña, the Sitges Film Festival and Cinema Jove de Valencia. His first short, Súper 8 (1996), was chosen to form part of the travelling cycle “From Ecstasy to Rapture. 50 Years of Alternative Spanish Film”, organized by the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona, and was shown at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (Melbourne), Anthology Film Archives (New York), the National Gallery of Art (Washington DC), Tiff Cinematheque (Toronto), Pacific Cinematheque (Vancouver), the National Film Archive in Prague, the Jeu de Paume (Paris) and the Tate Modern (London), to name just a few venues. Sean Gunn (born May 22, 1974) is a European-American businessman, entrepreneur, actor and producer. He is known for his roles as Kirk Gleason on the WB series Gilmore Girls (2000–2007) and Kraglin Obfonteri in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In this role, he has been in the films Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), Avengers: Endgame (2019), Thor: Love and Thunder (2022), and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023), as well as the animated series What If...?, television film The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (2022). John Pritchett (born March 29, 1947) is an American sound engineer for film. He has been nominated for two Academy Awards in Best Sound for the films Road to Perdition and Memoirs of a Geisha. He was nominated for two Cinema Audio Society Awards, winning Best Sound on The Road to Perdition. He was also nominated for a BAFTA Award for his work on There Will Be Blood. He has worked on over 100 films and television series since 1981. He is known for his work on such films as Dirty Dancing, Magnolia, There Will Be Blood and The Amazing Spider-Man. Jacques Veneruso

Biography

Jacques Veneruso (born 1959) is an Algerian-born French musician and songwriter. Between 1976 and 1988, he played in the band Canada, and since then has worked as a songwriter for various French-language artists. In 1976, Veneruso, together with Gildas Arzel (guitar), Gwenn Arzel (drums), Erick Benzi (percussion, keyboard, saxophone), and Robert Prud'homme formed the group Alenda in Marseille, France. They later moved to Paris, changing their name to Canada and signing a contract with EMI. Canada released their first single, "Les yeux dans les yeux", in 1984. "Touché au cœur" followed a year later. In 1986, they presented a new single to their label, titled "Mourir les sirènes", but EMI refused to release it for nearly a year. In January 1987, the song entered the French Top 50 singles chart, where it remained for fourteen weeks, reaching number 27. It ranks as the 105th best-selling single of that year, with more than 300,000 copies sold. In 1988, Canada published their only studio album, titled Sur les traces. Later that year, they were spotted by musician Jean-Jacques Goldman, who invited them to join him on his 1988 tour. In 1989, Canada released their last single, "Ne m'oublie pas", which was later recorded by Johnny Hallyday and issued on his 1995 album, Lorada. Veneruso contributed songwriting, vocals, and both electric and acoustic guitar to Lorada. Veneruso has written songs for a variety of French-speaking artists, such as Patrick Fiori, Florent Pagny, Michel Sardou, Yannick Noah, Garou, and Celine Dion. He has worked as music director for Pagny, Fiori, Sardou, and Carole Fredericks. In 2004, Veneruso wrote two tribute songs to his friend Carole Fredericks, three years after her death: "Ce qui nous manque de toi", interpreted by Lââm together with Jean-Jacques Goldman, Michael Jones, and Veneruso himself, and "Un dernier blues pour toi", sung by Jones and included on his 2004 album, Prises et reprises. In 2010, Veneruso served on the French jury at the Eurovision Song Contest, alongside Varda Kakon, Florence Coste, Jean-Pierre Pasqualini, and Olivier Ottin. Jojit Lorenzo is a Filipino theater, television and film actor, and photographer. He is best known for his performance in the film Changing Partners, for which he won Best Actor at the 2017 Cinema One Originals Film Festival. For the same film, he was nominated for Best Actor at other awards such as the FAMAS, Gawad Urian and Star Awards for Movies. He also won Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the film Anatomiya ng Korupsiyon at the 2011 Cinema One Originals Film Festival. Biography

Born in Paris, France in 1989, Jordan Goldnadel graduated from the prestigious TISCH School of the Arts (NYU) with high honors. After directing 15 shorts between 2003 and 2013, he made his feature debut with the low-budget coming of age romance/drama HAPPY (97min), which he wrote at age 22 and produced and directed at age 23/24. His previous works includes the short film THE BOY & THE CHESS PLAYER (23min), which won the NYU - TISCH Narrative allotment to be made. It also includes EDEM (16min), which was screened as part of the Emerging Filmmaker’s Showcase of the American Pavilion at the CANNES FILM FESTIVAL in 2009. Jordan is passionate about all aspects of the film industry and has interned and worked at several film production and distribution companies, such as FOCUS FEATURES, NBC-UNIVERSAL, QUADRANT ENTERTAINMENT OR T.T.V. PRODUCTIONS. He is also an actor and has studied at the prestigious COURS FLORENT Acting Institution in Paris. Most recently and straight after finishing his work on HAPPY, Jordan directed the 2nd Unit for the feature length film AUTUMN LIGHTS an American/Icelandic co-production, currently in post- production, directed by TISCH Graduate ANGAD AULAKH. Michael's company Mike GG Productions, LLC is putting out amazing films and some hitting topics in the Urban Community .Michael signed a Distribution deal for his film called "Bruthas 321" that was released World Wide June 15, 2022. His latest Faith Based Film called "Blind Confession " got Distribution also and will be released World Wide March 2022. Michael's just finished two Movies "Love thy Neighbor" which released May 2023 which is now on PEACOCK. Michael is highly anticipating the release of " Lady Thug " which should release January 2024. Michael's award winning Films such as Ripples, Mr. Faithful Cheater, Mystic Xrossing, Through His Grace(Faith-Based) and Through my Eyes have been accepted in multiple film festivals. Edward Walker

Biography

Edward Walker is an American professional wrestler, currently wrestling under the ring name Vordell Walker. He is perhaps best known for his work in Ring of Honor, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Extreme (PWX). In 2004 Walker wrestled two matches for TNA Xplosion both in losing efforts to 3 Live Kru, and Hector Garza. Throughout 2004 and 2005 Walker wrestled in NWA Florida and NWA Spinebuster competing against the likes of Tony Mamaluke, Matt Sydal, Billy Fives, Chris Sabin, and Homicide. He also competed in Full Impact Pro feuding with Jared Steel until mid-2005, he also competed in Ring of Honor, Georgia Championship Wrestling and Southern Championship Wrestling in 2005. In 2005, Walker was involved in an altercation with veteran wrestler Rick Steiner. Steiner, known to be somewhat of a bully in the ring, attempted to take liberties on the much younger Walker, but Walker, well-trained in mixed martial arts, would have none of it and brutally roughed up Steiner in what quickly became a shoot fight. He wrestled a few matches in early 2006 until having reconstructive knee surgery in April. Walker defeated Kenny King in his return match at SCW Season's Beatings on December 2 of 2006. In early 2007 Walker wrestled for AWA World 1 South, Dropkick Pro Wrestling, Showtime All-Star Wrestling, and Rampage Pro Wrestling. In early 2009 he competed against Ricky Steamboat, Jr. for the NWA Charlotte promotion. On November 19, 2010 Walker debuted in the NWA Coastal wrestling federation to take on Bronco International. On December 12, 2010 Walker wrestled NWA World Heavyweight Champion "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce for NWA Gulf Coast. On December 14, 2010 Walker was 1 of 8 wrestlers trying to become the first NWA Ring Warriors Grand Champion. Next, Walker wrestled for Pro Wrestling Xtreme at the National Guard Armory in Orlando, Florida. On January 28, 2012, Walker defeated Too Cold Scorpio to become the number 1 contender for the vacant Heavyweight Championship later that night. Walker lost in the Heavyweight championship match to Steve Corino. On April 28, 2012, Walker defeated Jon Davis.[5] On July 28, 2012, Walker competed against his two previous vanquished opponents, Too Cold Scorpio and Jon Davis in a 60 Minute Iron Man Match. Walker was a part of the 17th annual ECWA Super 8 tournament in Newark, Delaware, on April 13, 2013. Walker defeated UFC/MMA legend Dan "The Beast" Severn on a Traditional Championship Wrestling event on September 6, 2013. As of 2018, Walker continues to wrestle for various Louisiana-based independent wrestling promotions, including Pro Wrestling 225, where he recently issued a challenge to champion "Mad Dog" Gil Gracie. He recently had a tryout with WWE NXT but was not offered a contract. Walker continues to be regarded as one of the stiffest competitors in the business. Walker graduated from a technical school with a degree in marketing. He also has a background in amateur wrestling and various forms of martial arts, such as judo, taekwondo and jujutsu.

Brien Foerster

Biography

Brien Foerster was born in Rochester, Minnesota, U.S.A. but grew up on the west coast of Canada. At age 11, he became fascinated with the art of the Haida and other native people, and began carving totem poles, and other related art forms, learning from Native teachers. After completing an Honours Bachelor Of Science degree, Brien decided to take up carving and sculpture full time at the age of 25. This included the creation of 15 full size totem poles, dugout canoes, masks, bowls, boxes and other Native style works. In 1995 he moved to Maui, Hawaii, and was hired as assistant project manager for the building of the 62 foot double hull sailing canoe ( ancestor of the modern day catamaran ) Mo’okiha O Pi’ilani ( Sacred Lizard That Pierces The Heavens. ) This project lasted 2 years. Over the course of the next decade he explored Polynesia, looking for the source of the Polynesian people. Peru became his next major area of interest. The study of the Inca culture led to his writing his first book, A Brief History Of The Incas.
