I am an aspiring filmmaker who has worked on several different projects exploring genres such as music videos and teen dramas. I find myself to be a confident team leader when working on professional projects; communicating with all team members and ensuring everyone is comfortable within the crew. I wish to develop myself in my technical skills, working tactically with equipment, especially cameras. I’ve worked with handheld cameras frequently, enjoying photography particularly portraits. When working on set I enjoy the congregation of a crew and how each idea comes together from each individual. I ensure each person on set has an equal experience and partake in their skill set to the highest ability. I take an active interest also within local talent, specifically the acting community, as I enjoy granting opportunities to those less likely to have access to them. This, in the long term, is what I wish to achieve, educating a younger generation with a notable name upholding that training.

Biography
Laura Mora Ortega (Medellín, 1981) is a Colombian film director and screenwriter, recognized for her 2017 feature film Matar a Jesús, and for winning the Golden Shell at the 70th edition of the San Sebastian International Film Festival, with Los reyes del mundo.
He was born in Medellín and studied high school at the German School in the same city. He studied film production and directing at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia.
Matar a Jesús is Mora's debut feature film. It was released in 2017 in theaters in Colombia. The film won a large number of national and international awards, including the EGEDA Award at the Cartagena Film Festival, the Jury Prize for Best First Film and the Casa de las Américas Award at the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Havana, the Eroski Youth Award at the San Sebastian Film Festival and the Roger Ebert Award at the Chicago Film Festival.

Lana Turner (February 8, 1921 – June 29, 1995) was an American actress. Discovered and signed to a film contract by MGM at the age of sixteen, Turner first attracted attention in They Won't Forget (1937). She played featured roles, often as the ingenue, in such films as Love Finds Andy Hardy (1938). During the early 1940s she established herself as a leading actress in such films as Johnny Eager (1941), Ziegfeld Girl (1941) and Somewhere I'll Find You (1942). She is known as one of the first Hollywood scream queens thanks to her role in the 1941 horror film Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and her reputation as a glamorous femme fatale was enhanced by her performance in the film noir The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946). Her popularity continued through the 1950s, in such films as The Bad and the Beautiful (1952) and Peyton Place (1957), for which she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress.
In 1958, her daughter, Cheryl Crane, stabbed Turner's lover Johnny Stompanato to death. A coroner's inquest brought considerable media attention to Turner and concluded that Crane had acted in self defense. Turner's next film, Imitation of Life (1959), proved to be one of the greatest successes of her career, but from the early 1960s her roles were fewer. She gained recognition near the end of her career with a recurring guest role in the television series Falcon Crest during 1982 and 1983. Turner made her final television appearance in 1991, and died from throat cancer in 1995.

Laura Nyro

Laura Nyro (/ˈnɪəroʊ/ NEER-oh; born Laura Nigro; October 18, 1947 – April 8, 1997) was an American songwriter and singer. She achieved critical acclaim with her own recordings, particularly the albums Eli and the Thirteenth Confession (1968) and New York Tendaberry (1969), and had commercial success with artists such as Barbra Streisand and the 5th Dimension recording her songs. Wider recognition for her artistry was posthumous, while her contemporaries such as Elton John idolized her. She was praised for her emotive three-octave mezzo-soprano voice.
Between 1968 and 1970, a number of artists had hits with her songs: the 5th Dimension with "Blowing Away", "Wedding Bell Blues", "Stoned Soul Picnic", "Sweet Blindness", and "Save the Country"; Blood, Sweat & Tears and Peter, Paul and Mary with "And When I Die"; Three Dog Night and Maynard Ferguson with "Eli's Comin'"; and Barbra Streisand with "Stoney End", "Time and Love", and "Hands off the Man (Flim Flam Man)". Nyro's best-selling single was her recording of Carole King's and Gerry Goffin's "Up on the Roof".
Nyro was posthumously inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2010, and into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012

Anupam Roy (born 29 March 1982) is an Indian singer, lyricist, composer and playback singer from Kolkata, West Bengal. He made his debut with Amake Amar Moto Thakte Dao & Benche Thakar Gaan, which appeared on the soundtrack of the 2010 Bengali film Autograph. Since then, he has gone on to compose, write lyrics and sing for many Bengali films. In 2015, he made his Bollywood debut, composing the songs and score for Piku. Ermes Blarasin was born on April 17 1965 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is of an Italian background, his family moving from Fruili Venezia Giulia 8 years prior to him being born. He grew up in Toronto where filming movies had become popular and first got into the business as a stuntman in the movie Tommy Boy, doubling the hilarious Chris Farley. Since then, Ermes Blarasin has created a name for himself in the stunt business and has been complimented about his skill many times by directors. Marcela Fernández Violante

Marcela Fernández Violante (born June 9, 1941) is a Mexican filmmaker and director. She is a graduate of the University Centre for Cinematographic Studies (CUEC), where she specialized in scripting and direction. Upon graduation from CUEC, Violante participated in the documentary about Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, which won an Ariel Award for “Best Documentary".
She participated as a student in the filming of the documentary El grito, by director Leobardo López Aretche on the events that culminate the tragedy of the events that happened in Tlatelolco on October 2nd, 1968. On October 2nd, 2018, it was announced that a remastered version of this film would be shown at FICM.
Violante participated in making the documentary Frida Kahlo based on the work of the Mexican painter. She was the first woman to address the topic of Frida Kahlo . This documentary won the Silver Goddess Award and an Ariel award for best debut opera, as well as the prize for the best short film at the Guadalajara film festival in 1973. It won the special jury prize at the London festival in 1974, and was exhibited at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York later that year. In 1974, Violante began filming De todos modos Juan te llamas (Anyway, Juan is your name), the first feature film to be produced by UNAM. The film deals with the topic of the Cristero War in the Mexican Shoal in 1927, and the consolidation of the PRI as the ruling party.
Under the policy of freedom of expression in cinema, president Luis Echeverría agreed that the film could be commercially exhibited even though it severely criticized the Catholic Church and the Mexican Army. The film appeared at an exhibition in a New York film festival in 1976 and at the Havana film festival later in December.
In 1974, Violante became a professor of scriptwriting and filmmaking subjects of CUEC. She became a director there from 1984 to 1988. According to El Universal, in 1980 she expelled Alfonso Cuarón from CUEC, finding his documentary Vengeance is mine to be pretentious. Violante collaborated as a speaker at universities such Loyola in New Orleans, UCLA in California and NYU in New York. She is the General Secretary of the Union of Film Production Workers of the Mexican Republic (STPC), a member of the General Society of Writers of Mexico (SOGEM), and President of the Matilde Landeta cultural association.

Tomás Pichardo-Espaillat

Tomás Pichardo-Espaillat (b. 1987, Santo Domingo) is a storyteller from the Dominican Republic. Working primarily on video, animation and drawing. He was granted a full year scholarship at Fabrica, Benetton's Design Research center, in Treviso, Italy in 2013. Tomás received his BFA in Art and Media at Parsons, the New School of Design in 2010. And his AA degree in fine arts, at Altos de Chavón, in 2008.
Pichardo's work has hints of magic realism. Evoking the colorful, surreal and sometimes disorienting experience of growing up in the Caribbean. His world is personal and intimate, with characters full of colors and textures, drawn into situations outside of their comfort zone. Recent solo exhibitions include CasaQuien (DR), Centro de la Imagen (DR) and Fabrica Features (Lisbon, Portugal). And he has had work included in group exhibitions at the Triennale di Milano (Italy), Museum for Contemporary Art, (México) and Annecy Animation Film Festival (France).

Gilbert "Gilby" J. Clarke (born August 17, 1962) is an American musician, singer, songwriter and record producer best known for a 3-year tenure as the rhythm guitarist of Guns N' Roses, replacing Izzy Stradlin in 1991 during the Use Your Illusion Tour. Following his departure from the group, Clarke went on to forge a solo career as well playing guitar with Slash's Snakepit, Kat Men, Heart, Nancy Sinatra, Kathy Valentine (of the Go-Go's), MC5 and forming his own group Rock Star Supernova with members of Metallica and Mötley Crüe.

Anargha Pal is a filmmaker, producer, editor and AI-driven visual artist whose films have earned acclaim at international festivals worldwide. His feature film Dispersion, starring Rwitobroto Mukherjee, Shantilal Mukherjee and Barun Chanda, was the only Bengali-language film selected at the Festival de Cannes, Marché du Film 2025, which he co-produced with Dan Mirvish, founder of the Slamdance Film Festival.
