Claire Pimparé (born August 22, 1952) is a Québec actress. She is best known for her longtime television role as Passe-Carreau in the children's television series Passe-Partout, and her role as Gabrielle in the film Yesterday, for which she garnered a Genie Award nomination as Best Actress at the 1st Genie Awards.In 1986, she hosted Mon corps, c'est mon corps, a television special produced by Télé-Québec and the National Film Board to educate children on how to protect themselves against child sexual abuse.She also had supporting roles in the films Ticket to Heaven and Mario, and the television series Marisol and La galère.

Sarah Padden
Biography
Sarah Padden was a character actress in theater and vaudeville from Chicago, Illinois. She performed on stage in the early 20th century. She is noted for her expressive voice and for her psychological studies of the characters she portrayed. Her finest single-act performance was in The Clod, a stage production in which she played an uneducated woman who lived on a farm during the American Civil War. Padden was a featured player on the Orpheum Circuit, Inc.. She had a role in His Grace de Grammont, a romantic comedy by Clyde Fitch which came to the Park Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts in September 1905. The production starred Skinner and was based on the life of a chevalier in the court of Charles II. Padden appeared again with Skinner in a four-act play produced by Charles Frohman, The Honor of the Family, by Emile Fabre, which was presented in New Rochelle, New York in September 1907. Another of her theatrical parts was in Hell-Bent Fer Heaven, a Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Hatcher Hughes. It was performed at the Wilkes Orange Grove Theater (Majestic Theater), 845 South Broadway (Los Angeles), in November 1925. She was also an active screen actress from 1926 to 1958, appearing in 178 films and TV shows. In 1938, she played Ma Thayer in MGM's Rich Man Poor Girl, directed by Reinhold Schunzel and starring Robert Young, Ruth Hussey, and Lana Turner. Bill Harrison (Robert Young) a wealthy young businessman moves in with secretary girlfriend Joan Thayer's (Ruth Hussey) eccentric family to convince her they can make their marriage work. In 1941, she played wealthy spinster Aunt Cassandra ("Cassie") Hildegarde Denham in Murder by Invitation, directed by Phil Rosen and starring Wallace Ford and Marian Marsh. In this "closed room" murder comedy, after they unsuccessfully attempt to have her declared legally insane to gain control of her fortune, her nephews and nieces are invited to a week's visit at her mansion where they are murdered one by one.

Carla Mendonça
Biography
Carla was born in Coventry to parents who were both dancers. Her English mother was appearing in a company in Lisbon when she met her Portuguese husband-to-be, and the couple returned to live in England. One of Carla's 2 brothers, Jorge, joined the British Army and, at the age of 36, became its youngest-ever Colonel. Carla went to the University of Warwick, where she read Dramatic Arts and Theatre Studies, graduating in 1985. The inevitable round of theatrical work followed but she remains best known for her work in television comedy, especially two children's shows, My Dad's the Prime Minister (2003) and My Parents Are Aliens (1999), the latter running for seven years (though Carla was not in the first series). When, in 2006, the parent company ITV decided, for financial reasons, to axe afternoon programmes for children, Carla and her 'Aliens' co-star, Tony Gardner, spear-headed the Save Kids' TV campaign though they were unsuccessful. She has since appeared in various TV shows, most recently 2 series of 'So Awkward" for ChannelX/CBBC and is about to start filming a 3rd series. She has been working mainly in theatre (RSC, Royal Exchange, Tobacco Factory) including 'Noises Off' by Michael Frayn at the Nottingham Playhouse and is working on series 4 of So Awkward for Channel X. She is married to actor and writer Clive Mantle.

Douglass Rupert Dumbrille (October 13, 1889 – April 2, 1974) was a Canadian actor and one of the Canadian pioneers in early Hollywood.
In 1913, the East Coast film industry was flourishing and that year he appeared in the film What Eighty Million Women Want, but it would be another 11 years before he appeared on screen again.
In 1924, he made his Broadway debut and worked off and on in the theatre for several years while supplementing his income by selling such products as car accessories, tea, insurance, real estate, and books.
During the Great Depression, Dumbrille moved to the West Coast of the U.S., where he specialized in playing secondary character roles alongside the great stars of the day. His physical appearance and suave voice equipped him for roles as slick politician, corrupt businessman, crooked sheriff, or unscrupulous lawyer.
He was highly regarded by the studios and was sought out by Cecil B. DeMille, Frank Capra, Hal Roach and other prominent Hollywood filmmakers. A friend of fellow Canadian-born director Allan Dwan, Dumbrille played Athos in Dwan’s 1939 adaptation of The Three Musketeers.
Dumbrille had roles in more than 200 motion pictures and, with the advent of television, made numerous appearances in the 1950s and 1960s. He had the ability to project a balance of menace and pomposity in roles as the "heavy" in comedy films, such as those of the Marx Brothers or Abbott and Costello.

Forouzan (also spelled Foroozan) was born in Bandar-e Anzali, Iran. Her real name was Parvin Kheirbakhsh. She started her career by dubbing films. Her first movie was Sahel-e Entezar. She acted in many popular Iranian films and also worked with visionary directors of the Mowj-e Now, such as Dariush Mehrjui (Dayere-ye Mina) and Ali Hatami (Baba Shamal). She started her cinematic career as a voice-over actress. In 1964 she starred in Siamak Yasemi's Sahele Entezar, but it was Ganje Qarun, another film by Yasemi, that made her very famous. She co-starred in this film with Fardin. After Ganj-e Qarun Fardin and Forouzan made a golden cinematic couple and co-starred in some of the highest-grossing films of the era, known as Persian Films or Film Farsi (in Persian: Filme Farsi). Persian Film was the popular genre of movies produced in Iran before the Iranian revolution of 1979. Siamak Yasemi, Iraj Ghaderi, Shapur Gharib and Fereydun Goleh were some of the other famous directors that she collaborated with. After the 1979 revolution Forouzan was banned from playing in movies and grew more and more isolated. She rarely conducted interviews and died on 24 January 2016 in Tehran. After Forouzan's death, Persian-language websites and forums dedicated posts and articles in her memory. Her popularity remained intact despite not having acted in a new film since 1978

Alec Nikoghossian (born August 24, 2004) is a Lebanese-Armenian filmmaker (director & editor) born in Beirut, Lebanon. Now based in Montréal, Canada, he graduated with a BFA in Film Production from Concordia University’s Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema.
Inspired by life across two ends of the world, he pulls from personal history to revisit the city of Beirut through film; guided by nostalgia and fragmented memories from Armenian family stories.

Zoltán Fábri (15 October 1917 – 23 August 1994) was a Hungarian film director and screenwriter. His films The Boys of Paul Street (1969) and Hungarians (1978) were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. His 1965 film Twenty Hours shared the Grand Prix with War and Peace at the 4th Moscow International Film Festival. His 1969 film The Toth Family was entered into the 7th Moscow International Film Festival. His 1975 film 141 Minutes from the Unfinished Sentence was entered into the 9th Moscow International Film Festival, where he won a Special Prize for Directing.

Mapita Cortés (August 4, 1939 – January 1, 2006, born as María del Pilar Mercado Cordero in 1939 in the Santurce neighborhood of San Juan, Puerto Rico, passed away in Mexico City) was a Puerto Rican telenovela and film actress in Mexico. She is the mother of Mexican actor Luis Gatica, wife of Lucho Gatica, niece of Puerto Rican actress Mapy Cortés, and niece-in-law of Mexican actor Fernando Cortés. Mapita Cortés was also the cousin of the famous Paquito Cordero, who was two years younger than her.
Cortés was Miss Puerto Rico in the 1957 Miss Universe pageant and finished as one of the five finalists.
Mapita Cortés had shown a desire to become an actress since she was a child. As she and her cousin grew up, her cousin became a well-known personality in Puerto Rico. Mapita Cortés, however, tried her luck in Mexico, as her aunt had adopted her and was a celebrity there. Mapita Cortés took her last name from her uncle and aunt.
Cortés became a sensation in the Mexican film industry during the 1950s when she appeared in *Misterios de Ultratumba* (1958, "Mysteries of the Beyond," also known as *The Black Pit of Dr. M*). This film became a contemporary Mexican classic.
Later, Cortés starred in or played significant roles in several films, following in her uncle and aunt's footsteps by becoming a celebrity in her own right in Mexico. She decided to settle permanently in the North American country after enjoying success there.
While making films, another celebrity, Chilean singer Lucho Gatica, fell in love with her, and the two began a romance that would lead to marriage on May 21, 1960. They had five children: Luis, Mapy (María del Pilar), Aída, Juanita, and Alfredo. Their son Luis Gatica (born in 1961) would also eventually become a celebrity as a telenovela actor and rock singer during the 1980s. Mapita Cortés and Lucho Gatica divorced after 18 years of marriage.
After marrying Lucho Gatica, Mapita Cortés semi-retired from the entertainment world, becoming a housewife and caring for her children. However, she occasionally returned to acting, becoming known as a character actress in some of Mexico's most famous telenovelas. In 1989, she appeared alongside Verónica Castro in *Mi pequeña Soledad* by Televisa, which became a huge success in Mexico, the United States, and even Europe, giving Mapita Cortés a level of fame in countries like Russia and others. Mapita Cortés also had the opportunity to work with Mariana Levy, who passed away in 2005.

Hugh Michael Horace Dancy (born 19 June 1975) is an English actor who rose to prominence for his role as the title character in the television film adaptation of David Copperfield (2000) as well as for roles in feature films as Kurt Schmid in Black Hawk Down (2001) and Prince Charmont in Ella Enchanted (2004). Other film roles include Joe Conner in Shooting Dogs (2005), Grigg Harris in The Jane Austen Book Club (2007), Luke Brandon in Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009), Adam Raki in Adam (2009) and Ted in Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011).
