Reza Naji

Biography

Reza Naji is an Iranian actor and an iconic figure of Iranian cinema. Naji started his career in theater when he was a teenager. While serving in the Iranian army, he continued to perform in different roles. His first role in a film goes back to 1997 in Children of Heaven, which proved to be a breakthrough. For playing the role of Ali's father, director Majid Majidi was seeking an actor with an Azeri accent, and Naji was carefully selected from a group of 2,500 actors tested for the role. Since then, he has played several roles in Iranian films. Among his most notable performances is his appearance in "The Song of Sparrows", directed by renowned film director Majid Majidi, for which Naji won the Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival, and Best Performance by an Actor at the 2008 Asia Pacific Screen Awards. Jörg Pfennigwerth has appeared in several cinema and television films by renowned German directors since 1980. Jörg Pfennigwerth even appeared in front of the camera three times for two filmmakers. He appeared in Christel Buschmann's Gibbi – Westgermany, Comeback and Ballhaus Barmbeck and in Lars Becker's Kalte Sonne, Schattenboxer and Kanak Attack. Jörg Pfennigwerth also founded the blues, R&B, and rock ‘n’ roll band Dead On Arrival with Welsh musician Granville Jones, serving as its singer and guitarist. The Hamburg native performed regularly with his band in his adopted home of Munich.

Rodney Dillard has had a long and varied career resulting so far in two Grammy Nominations, induction into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame, a well-known acting stint on the Andy Griffith Show, many other movie, commercials and TV appearances, recipient of The Outstanding Missourian Award, and worldwide acclaim for his over 50 years of recording both traditional Bluegrass and his own brand of ‘DILLARDGRASS’. Rodney Dillard as founding member of the legendary group, ‘THE DILLARDS’ (aka the Darlings) is seen nearly everyday somewhere in the world thanks to the still enormous popularity of The ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW reruns. Rodney continued to modernize and innovate the sound of Bluegrass as he wrote and collaborated to write such now classic songs as “There Is a Time”, “The Darlin Boys”, “Ebo Walker”, and “Dooley”. By the late 1960′s Rodney had transformed the Dillards into the driving force creating new sounds in the West Coast music environment. Graham McSweeney is an independent director, writer and editor based in Cork, Ireland. He is one half of the creative duo McSweeney Films and has produced dozens of comedy sketches, short films and feature films with his brother David since 2020. All of their work is available to watch for free on their YouTube channel "McSweeney Films" with notable releases such as "Housemates" (2021), "Waiting for You"(2022), "Plight of the Pintman" (2023) and "Blood & Wine" (2025). As of September 2025, Graham has been the chairperson of The People's Picturehouse Cork. Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 - October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. He was the son of film composer Sol Kaplan and actress Frances Heflin; the nephew of actor Van Heflin. He was the brother of actresses Nora Heflin and Mady Kaplan. His film The Accused (1988), earned actress Jodie Foster her first Oscar for Best Actress and was nominated for the Golden Bear at the 39th Berlin International Film Festival. The agent approached Bo and his mother during a shopping trip in a mall, saw Bo's potential, thinking he was 2 years old due to his size and walking at such a young age. Herb Alpert (born March 31, 1935) is an American jazz musician most associated with the group variously known as Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass, Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass, or TJB. Alpert is also a recording industry executive, the "A" of A&M Records, a recording label he and business partner Jerry Moss founded and eventually sold to PolyGram. Alpert also has created abstract expressionist paintings and sculpture over two decades, which are publicly displayed on occasion.
