Berkeley was famous for his elaborate musical production numbers that often involved complex geometric patterns. Berkeley's works used large numbers of showgirls and props as fantasy elements in kaleidoscopic on-screen performances. James Merendino

Biography

James Merendino is an American movie director and scriptwriter. He was born in New Jersey, and moved with his family to Salt Lake City, Utah when he was six years old. After pursuing post-secondary education in Rome and Los Angeles, California, studying Western philosophy and theology, Merendino settled in Hollywood, California when he was 19 years old, and began a tenure with Hollywood mogul Dan Melnick. In 1991, Merendino was hired for his first motion picture, Witchcraft IV. His second film, A River Made to Drown In (1997), is a movie that was pivotal to the gay community in the United States, with Richard Chamberlain coming out publicly after the film's release. Merendino's most successful film, SLC Punk, was released in 1998. The film is centered on two punk rockers living in Salt Lake City and follows their daily nihilistic lives. SLC Punk is semi-autobiographical. The 2000 film Magicians was a European co-production with Alan Arkin and Claire Forlani. Amerikana was produced as part of the Dogma 95 by Lars Von Trier. In 2016, the sequel long awaited sequel to SLC Punk, Punk's Dead was released. James Merendino has directed 18 movies also served as the writer on the majority of them. He was nominated for best original screenplay at the Independent Spirit Awards.

David C. Giuntoli (born June 18, 1980) is an American actor. He's best known for his roles as Det. Nick Burkhardt on NBC's supernatural drama Grimm (2011–2017), and Eddie Saville on ABC's drama A Million Little Things (2018–2023). He has appeared in films such as 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi (2016) and Buddymoon (2016). He first gained attention as a participant on MTV's Road Rules: South Pacific, and later on Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Gauntlet. In 2007, he moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue an acting career. He has appeared on several TV series including Nip/Tuck, Veronica Mars, Grey's Anatomy, Ghost Whisperer, Privileged, Without a Trace, and Cold Case, among others. He also hosted AT&T U-Verse "Buzz". His music career has not been as successful, but he has performed with German DJ Flula Borg, his occasional co-host on "Buzz," at The Viper Room in Los Angeles. Fakhraddin Manaf oglu Manafov (Azerbaijani: Fəxrəddin Manafov) is an Azerbaijani and Soviet actor. His family moved to Baku when he was around 5. He made his first movie appearance in 1978. In 1980, Manafov graduated from the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts and started working with Azerbaijanfilm. Since 1978 he has been shooting in the films of the film studio "Azerbaijanfilm". He was also filmed in the film studio "Uzbekfilm" and in Russia. Also engaged in scoring. For the role of Ibrahim Khalil Khan in the film "The fate of the Emperor" was awarded the "Zirvia" award (rus: peak). In 2000 he was awarded the title of People's Artist of Azerbaijan. Jake Estrada was born in Philadelphia, PA as Jacob James Estrada to Nilda Estrada and Santiago "Chago" Estrada. Jake's father was born in Puerto Rico, and came to the United States in 1952 and worked as a professional roofer until his death. Jake's mother saw that her son loved to perform, and produce art so she enrolled him at a young age in the Lighthouse. The Lighthouse was a local Philadelphia center for young kids to create art and theater productions. At 12 years old after the tragic murder of his cousin due to a hate crime, Jake's family moved to South Jersey. Jake graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1996. Jake Estrada has worked professionally as an underground comic book artist since 2005. Jake, published his first comic book series Bocas which was about a Puerto Rican vigilante. Jake moved in 2006 to Central Florida. Jake has published over 70 comics in the underground comic book scene. He currently is the publisher of a local Central Florida Magazine called Space Coast Comixx. He also has been published in various other publications such as Spotlight Magazine and Al Dia Today! Jake is also a life coach and he believes in talking with the youth and sharing his experiences as a kid growing up in several rough neighborhoods. Jake believes art of any type can save lives. Jake's first acting gig came in the form of doing a special appearance as the Cereal Killer for a local production called Fatman TV. Here Jake played a masked wrestler that wanted to kill Fatman, who was a hero out to protect Brevard County Florida. Jake had so much fun he started to look for other productions. Ploy Chermarn Boonyasak is a Thai film and television actress and model. She is well known for her role as June / Tang in the movie The Love of Siam. Her other film roles have included the title ghost character in director Yuthlert Sippapak's horror-comedies Buppah Rahtree and Buppah Rahtree Phase 2: Rahtree Returns. She was also featured in Pen-Ek Ratanaruang's Last Life in the Universe, in which she portrayed the younger sister of the character played by her real-life older sister, Daran Boonyasak. In 2001, when she was just 18, she played a teen mum in the drama Na Tang Baan Raek (The First Window). And despite having been a big star since her 20s, she did a supporting role in the 2007 gay-teen drama Love Of Siam, which eventually won her a Suphannahong National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress. Her role as a vengeful ghost in Buppha Ratree is also interpreted as an expression of feminine anger over patriarchal society. In 2014, she has joined forces with the UN Refugee Agency and celebrities around the world to help spread the message of World Refugee Day. She's also a mentor on the modelling-themed reality series The Face Thailand Season 1 and The Face Thai and season 4 All-Stars, aired on Channel 3. She left Thai TV3 in 2017 and became a free agent.
