Leigh Whannell

Biography

Leigh Whannell (/ˈli ˈwɑːnɛl/; born 17 January 1977) is an Australian filmmaker and actor. He has written multiple films that were directed by his friend James Wan, including Saw (2004), Dead Silence (2007), Insidious (2010), and Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013). Whannell made his directorial debut with Insidious: Chapter 3 (2015) and has since directed three more films, Upgrade (2018), The Invisible Man (2020) and Wolf Man (2025). Whannell and Wan are the creators of the Saw franchise. Whannell wrote the first installment, co-wrote the second and third installments, was the producer or executive producer for all the films, and appeared as the Adam Stanheight character in three of the installments. He was also the writer of the Saw video game (2009) and co-writer of the film Cooties (2014). He played Pa Kettle on Syfy's Z Nation, Zepht on Star Trek: Enterprise, and has appeared in several soap operas, including Days of Our Lives and The Young and the Restless. Mohamed Dione

Biography

Momo Dione was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is of Guinean and Senegalese descent. His father is a Guinean diplomat and his mother is an entrepreneur specializing in event production and African fashion. Before reaching high school, the actor/filmmaker had already seen a great deal of the world. He came to the United States in 1993 when his father was appointed to the Guinea mission in New York City. While doing plays in elementary school on Roosevelt Island, he realized that acting was his true passion. He began auditioning for projects while in high school. But playing basketball and football, being class president for three consecutive terms, prom king, and carrying a heavy academic load left him with little time to follow his heart. He graduated from Yonkers International Baccalaureate High School in 2004. He has since been featured in plays, TV shows, commercials, music videos, student films, independent films, and feature films. Some of his credits are "Law & Order: Criminal Intent", "Across the Universe", "Notorious", the upcoming "Restless City" premiering at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and several commercials. He is a graduate of the All Stars Project/Youth Onstage/Castillo Theater youth development acting programs. Momo was a member of the original cast and co-author of the All Stars Projects' original production of "Our City." He's also posed for paintings by Afro-American painter Kehinde Wiley. He is bi-coastal; living in Los Angeles and New York. Frequent travel is a way of life for Mohamed. He co-owns Caramel Cappuccino films, a production company that writes films that articulate relevant issues of life and relationship in under-served or under acknowledged communities with aims of producing them. He enjoys horseback riding, opera, Congolese soukous, sports, and anything that has to do with cinema. Dione is constantly auditioning and working on new projects in search of the role that will allow him to make his mark in the Hollywood and Broadway markets...and then the world.

Noveen grew up in Hartford, Connecticut. Her love for acting blossomed during her childhood; dancing, singing, and acting at the Hartford Children's Theatre. At the age of 7, she began performing here in Connecticut at The Hartford Stage Company. During her time at the Hartford Stage, she was noticed and thus cast in TV commercials for the Science Center of Connecticut. After graduating from South Windsor High School, she settled in Los Angeles to study acting and subsequently earned her bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at AMDA: College and Conservatory of Performing Arts. Cox was born to a British father and an Irish mother in Vienna. Her parents later divorced. Both of them are pianists, who originally came to Vienna on a grant for musicians. Cox grew up in Vienna and graduated from high school in 2003. She developed an interest in acting after performing in a play as part of her English classes during her final year in high school. After her graduation she went on to study acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar. In 2008 she was under contract as a stage actor at the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna. Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer. He won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama.
