Sergio Martino

Sergio Martino (born 19 July 1938 in Rome, Italy) is an Italian film director and producer, notable for his contributions to the giallo genre. Martino is the brother of producer Luciano Martino. They collaborated frequently in their respective professions. Their grandfather was director Gennaro Righelli. Martino worked for both the big screen as well as for Italian television (where he does most of his current work). He often worked with actress Edwige Fenech who in the 1970s was married to his brother Luciano. He also worked with a lot of genre actors such as George Hilton, Ivan Rassimov and Claudio Cassinelli, as well as famed Italian screenwriter Ernesto Gastaldi. Martino's pseudonyms include: Julian Barry, Martin Dolman, Serge Martin, Christian Plummer, George Raminto. Joseph W. Stilwell

Biography

Joseph Warren "Vinegar Joe" Stilwell (March 19, 1883 – October 12, 1946) was a United States Army general who served in the China Burma India Theater during World War II. An early American popular hero of the war for leading a column walking out of Burma pursued by the victorious Imperial Japanese Armed Forces, his implacable demands for units debilitated by disease to be sent into heavy combat resulted in Merrill's Marauders becoming disenchanted with him. Infuriated by the 1944 fall of Changsha to a Japanese offensive, Stilwell threatened Chinese Nationalist leader Chiang Kai-shek that lend-lease aid to China would be cut off, which led Ambassador Patrick J. Hurley to decide Stilwell had to be replaced. Chiang had been intent on keeping lend-lease supplies to fight the Chinese Communist Party, but Stilwell had been obeying his instructions to get the CCP and the Kuomintang to co-operate against Japan.

Robert Eddison

Robert Leadam Eddison, OBE (10 June 1908 – 14 December 1991) was an English actor, who is probably most widely remembered in the role of the Grail Knight in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. He also played the tragic ferryman in The Storyteller episode "The Luck Child". Born in Japan to English parents, Edwin Eddison and Hilda Muriel Leadham, he had a twin brother Talbot Leadam Eddison. Through his paternal grandmother, Anna Paulina Tatham of Philadelphia, he was related to the Tatham Brothers Iron pipe manufacturers of Philadelphia. As his paternal great-grandfather Henry Billington Tatham's name suggests, he was a descendant of the Billington family who came to America from England on the Mayflower. Eddison was known for his resonant, baritone voice and long, lean figure. He performed William Shakespeare and other classics, was noted for his Hamlet at the Old Vic, and later playing the comic roles of Feste and Sir Andrew Aguecheek inTwelfth Night, and King Lear on the New York stage. He was also a familiar figure in plays by Ibsen, Chekhov, andSophocles, and played Canon Chasuble in Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest. Eddison also made his mark in radio, in countless BBC dramas through the decades, with some of his last roles includingDeath in The Canterbury Tales and parts in an adaptation of Japanese Noh plays. His film career was limited, but included a supporting role in Peter Ustinov's 1948 comedy Vice Versa, the electrical 'Nick' in The Boy Who Turned Yellow (1972), the college president in American Friends (1991), and a notable cameo in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusadeas the ancient Grail Knight, warning adventurers to choose wisely.

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 - October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. Taylor Daniel Lautner (born February 11, 1992) is an American actor and model. He is best known for playing shapeshifter Jacob Black in The Twilight Saga film series. Lautner began his acting career playing bit parts in comedy series such as The Bernie Mac Show (2003) and My Wife and Kids (2004), before having voice roles in television series like What's New, Scooby-Doo? He is memorable in the silver screen for the song Yeh Jeevan Hai in the movie Piya Ka Ghar (1972) with actress Jaya Bhaduri. The music was composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal and sung by Kishore Kumar. Cansu Tosun is a Turkish actress born on January 26 th 1988 in Nuremberg, Germany. Starting at the very young age of four, she has modeled for various German brands. Upon studying ballet at the German Opeara for fifteen years, she shifted her focus to Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Modern Dance. Tamar Su’s project is a diverse breath of creativity. She writes gentle folk-rock songs about unbearable loss and love, alienation, the need to belong versus freedom and self fulfillment. Her music is influenced by various female artists such as France Gall, Jane Birkin as well as Israeli rock singers and it has ethnic tinges, manifesting the musical and geographic line that connects her home in France with her Israeli homeland. In 2000, she participated in the children's film " Magic Hat " on the children's channel as Rina “Gray Roofs” is Tamar’s debut single. The lyrics were written while gazing at the Paris Skyline from the 21st floor. Magic lights in winter gray reflect nuances in the relationship with her beloved. First translated from Hebrew to French and later recorded in Tel Aviv and Paris and released as a double bilingual song. Afterwards Tamar released her debut double album both in Hebrew and French, alongside the release of a short animation film (co-production between Israel and France) that she produced and wrote and will be featuring her original music. These days she is working on her second album with the music producer Shmulik Daniel which will be released on May 2024 alongside Israeli & European tour.
