Andrzej Duda
Biography
Andrzej Sebastian Duda (born 16 May 1972) is a Polish lawyer and politician who served as the sixth president of Poland from 2015 to 2025. Before becoming president, he served as Member of the Sejm from 2011 to 2014 and as Member of the European Parliament from 2014 to 2015.
Born in Kraków, Duda was the presidential candidate for the Law and Justice party (PiS) during the presidential election in May 2015. In the first round of voting, he received 5,179,092 votes – 34.76% of valid votes, placing first but falling well short of the required absolute majority. In the second round of voting, he received 51.55% of the vote, beating the incumbent president Bronisław Komorowski, who received 48.45% of the vote. On 26 May 2015, Duda resigned his party membership as the president-elect.
In October 2019, Duda received the official support of PiS ahead of his re-election campaign in 2020. He finished first in the first round and then went on to defeat Rafał Trzaskowski in the runoff with 10,440,648 votes or 51.03% of the vote. Throughout his first and second terms, Duda has largely aligned himself with the right-wing ideologies espoused by PiS and its leader Jarosław Kaczyński. Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Duda has played an important role in coordinating international efforts to support Ukraine's military.

Dylan Thomas
Biography
Dylan Marlais Thomas was a Welsh poet and writer whose works include the poems "Do not go gentle into that good night" and "And death shall have no dominion"; the 'play for voices' Under Milk Wood; and stories and radio broadcasts such as "A Child's Christmas in Wales" and "Portrait of the Artist as a Young Dog". He became widely popular in his lifetime and remained so after his premature death at the age of 39 in New York City. By then he had acquired a reputation, which he had encouraged, as a "roistering, drunken and doomed poet".
Thomas was born at the family home in Cwmdonkin Drive in the Uplands district of Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales, in 1914. An undistinguished pupil, he left school at 16 and became a journalist for a short time. Many of his works appeared in print while he was still a teenager; however, it was the publication in 1934 of "Light breaks where no sun shines" that caught the attention of the literary world. While living in London, Thomas met Caitlin Macnamara, whom he married in 1937. Their relationship was defined by alcoholism and was mutually destructive. In the early part of their marriage, Thomas and his family lived hand-to-mouth; they settled in the Welsh fishing village of Laugharne/Talacharn in Carmarthenshire.
Thomas came to be appreciated as a popular poet during his lifetime, though he found earning a living as a writer difficult. He began augmenting his income with reading tours and radio broadcasts. His radio recordings for the BBC during the late 1940s brought him to the public's attention, and he was frequently used by the BBC as a populist voice of the literary scene.
Thomas first travelled to the United States in the 1950s. His readings there brought him a level of fame, while his erratic behaviour and drinking worsened. His time in America cemented his legend, however, and he went on to record to vinyl such works as "A Child's Christmas in Wales". During his fourth trip to New York in 1953, after a night at the White Horse Inn, Greenwich Village, Thomas became gravely ill and fell into a coma, from which he never recovered. He died on 9 November 1953 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Greenwich Village. His body was returned to Wales where he was interred at the village churchyard in Laugharne on 25 November 1953. The grace is marked by a simple white wooden cross.
Though Thomas wrote exclusively in the English language, he has been acknowledged as one of the most important Welsh poets of the 20th century. He is noted for his original, rhythmic and ingenious use of words and imagery. His position as one of the great modern poets has been much discussed, and he remains popular with the public.

Nikola Kojo
Biography
Nikola was named after his great-grandfather, who was an protoiereus in Mostar. He made his acting debut before he turned 13, with the role of the boy Ivan in the 1980 film "Rad na određeno vreme". During the 1980s, he played notable roles in the film "Igmanski marš" (1983), the TV series "Sivi Dom" (1986), and one of the main roles in three sequels of the very popular film series Foolish Years, which profiled him as one of the most famous actors of the younger generation in the former Yugoslavia.
In 1992, he played the main role in Srđan Dragojević's film "Mi nismo anđeli" (We're Not Angels), for which he remains notable. He starred again in the 2005 sequel Mi nismo anđeli 2.
He is married to Aleksandra Đurić, with whom he has a daughter Ana (2008) and two twin daughters (2013).
He made his directing debut in the film Herd (2016).

Richard Ayoade (born May 23, 1977) is a British actor, comedian, writer, filmmaker, and voice actor known for his deadpan style and sharp wit. Donald James Marshall (May 2, 1936 - October 30, 2016) was was an American actor best known for his role as "Dan Erickson" in the television show "Land of the Giants (1968-1970)".
He was one of four children and was schooled at San Diego High School. He was studying engineering between 1956 and 1957, and was encouraged to try acting by a friend, Peter Bren. Marshall was still in the army at this time. He studied acting at the Bob Gist Dramatic Workshop, while studying Theatre Arts at Los Angeles City College.
Marshall has provided consultation on matters connected with his work and with racial issues, and has received an award for "Outstanding Achievement in his field as a Black Achiever in the United States".

Mamiko Noto is a Japanese voice actress and singer working under Office Osawa.
Noto was born in Ishikawa Prefecture. Some of Noto's prominent anime roles include Kotomi Ichinose in Clannad, Rin in Inuyasha, Kotori Monou in X, Aoi Kannazuki in Kaitō Tenshi Twin Angel, Enma Ai in Hell Girl, Haruka Nogizaka in Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, Mavis Vermillion in Fairy Tail, Sawako Kuronuma in Kimi ni Todoke, and Satellizer L. Bridget in Freezing, and Yukako Yamagishi in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Noto was nominated in the 1st Seiyu Awards for her work as Yakumo Tsukamoto in School Rumble and as Masane Amaha in Witchblade. Noto has released several character songs and albums which have charted in Oricon, and was a guest at the Otakon and Anime Expo conventions held in the United States.

N. Brandão

N. Brandão (Vila Real, 1999) is a Portuguese visual artist and filmmaker that lives and works in Porto. He holds a degree in Fine Arts – Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto (2017-2021) and is currently one of the resident artists at the studio of the Cultural Association – Ars Longa Vita Brevis (AL859), where he continues to develop his artistic practice and research. Among the various exhibitions he has participated in, his first solo exhibition, “Circusiana: Act I”, held in 2023 at the gallery of AL859, stands out. Designed to invite the viewer to immerse themselves in the narrative of each image, the exhibition sought to stimulate a cinematic and theatrical observation of painting—where it became necessary to “listen” to the images in order to truly observe them. Driven by his interest in exploring the dialogues between pictorial and moving images, he enrolled in the Master’s in Cinema at the School of Arts of the Portuguese Catholic University of Porto in 2022, where he had the opportunity to develop several film projects, including his first short film, “A Burden’s Tale”. Wandering between Painting and Cinema, his artistic practice reveals a particular curiosity about the uncanny and absurd nature of the human condition, creating visual narratives that, through metaphors and allegories, explore different ways of relating to contemporary existence.

Pernilla Wahlgren

Her first big break was at the age of four, when she acted alongside her mother in the TV-play Den längsta dagen (The Longest Day). She attended the Adolf Fredrik's Music School and was also part of the Saltsjöbaden theatre. In the face of stiff competition she got the title role in the musical Annie at Folkan in Stockholm. After a small role in Lilla prinsen (The Little Prince) at Saltsjöbaden's theatre and an equally small part in Ingmar Bergman's film Fanny and Alexander. In 1982 she joined the cast of the Swedish production of The Sound of Music, in which she played the daughter Louise. At Folkan she also had parts in Karlsson på taket, Mio, min Mio, Snövit (Snow White) and Ringens hemlighet. After having played Annika in the musical version of Pippi Longstocking at Folket in Stockholm, in 1983 she received good reviews when she replaced Siw Malmkvist in the role of Pippi for the two final performances, and appeared in an episode of Nygammalt in 1983, and an episode of Razzel in October 1984, where she performed her debut single, Nu har det tänt. She has also acted in film and TV productions such as Bo Widerberg's 1986 production of Ormens väg på hälleberget in 1986, and Snoken in 1995. Pernilla has also performed in a number of comedies at various private theatres in Stockholm, such as Parneviks cirkusparty, Spanska flugan and Bubbel trubbel. She has twice been nominated for the theatre-awardGuldmasken—first for her role in Charleys tant at the Intiman theatre, and secondly for her part in "Kärlek & lavemang" at Fredriksdalsteatern in Helsingborg. She has had even more musical roles in Annie Get Your Gun, Grease, The Wizard of Oz, Cats and Nils Karlsson Pyssling.[citation needed] She has portrayed Pippi Longstocking several times, also as an adult. On 29 September 2007, The Sound of Music premièred at the Göta Lejon theatre in Stockholm, where Pernilla played alongside a cast including Tommy Nilsson. It ran for nine months, including a month-long tour across Sweden. The last performance ran in Örebro on 16 May 2008.
