Cheryl Chou

Biography

Cheryl Chou was born and raised in Singapore until she was eight years old. She then moved to China with her parents where she lived for ten years. In 2016, Cheryl was crowned Miss Universe Singapore and was given the opportunity to represent Singapore in the finals held in Manila, Philippines, in January 2017, during her reign as Miss Universe Singapore 2016, she became the brand ambassador of Beaute Hub (Facial and Slimming Wellness Center) and PHS Hair Science (Scalp Treatment Center). Cheryl is also an advocate for living an active and healthy lifestyle. She trains six times a week, mainly doing HIIT workouts and live on a predominately plant-based diet. She was trained for cinematic kung-fu with Hong Kong based martial arts trainer and choreographer, Chris Collins. She also partakes in Muay Thai classes as part of her fitness regimen. In 2018, Cheryl landed her first major supporting role on Mediacorp TV Singapore’s Channel 8 drama, 29th February (229明天見), alongside with Aloysious Pang. In 2019, Cheryl nailed the role of Girly Danker in the TV adaption of Dick Lee’s musical “Fried Rice Paradise”, broadcasted on MediaCorp TV Singapore Channel 5. She also nailed her first main female lead role in a Channel 5 drama, Love By Numbers. Aside from acting, Cheryl is also an experience emcee. She has hosted events for brands including Lancome, Armani Beauty, Fenty Beauty and Puma.

Cassie Ventura

Biography

Casandra Ventura (born August 26, 1986), known professionally as Cassie, is a half Filipino and half black singer, model, and dancer. After being introduced to music producer Ryan Leslie, she was signed to his music-media company, NextSelection Lifestyle Group. Leslie wrote and produced Cassie's first single, "Me & U", which became a major hit in 2006. He convinced Sean "Diddy" Combs to partner his Bad Boy Records with Leslie's NextSelection imprint for the release of her debut album, Cassie, which was released in August 2006. Her second album, Electro Love, has yet to be released.

Biography

Golshifteh Farahani (گلشیفته فراهانی) was born on 10th July 1983 and is an international Iranian actress. She has dual Iranian and French nationality. Golshifteh Farahani started her acting career in theatre at the age of 6. Since then she has played in more than 40 films, many of which have been screened or awarded at international festivals. Amongst her famous Iranian films are Bahman Ghobadi's Half Moon, Dariush Mehrjui's Santoori , Rasool Mollagholipour's M for Mother and Asghar Farhadi's About Elly. Starring in Ridley Scotts Body of Lies (2008), alongside Leonardo Di Caprio and Russel Crowe, Golshifteh Farahani became the first Iranian to act in a major Hollywood production. She has also starred in films such as Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014) directed by Ridley Scott, Paterson (2016) directed by Jim jarmush, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017), Extraction (2020), and Alpha (2025) directed by Palme d'Or winning filmmaker Julia Ducournau.

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 - October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. On October 31, 2020, it was announced that Connery had died at the age of 90.

Eddie Deezen (born March 6, 1955) is an American character actor, voice actor and comedian, best known for his bit parts as nerd characters in 1970s and 1980s films such as Grease, Grease 2, Midnight Madness, 1941 and WarGames, as well as for larger roles in a number of independent cult films, including Surf II: The End of the Trilogy and I Wanna Hold Your Hand. As a voice actor, he is easily recognizable for his distinctively high-pitched and nasally voice, most notably used for the characters of Mandark in the Cartoon Network series Dexter's Laboratory, Snipes the Magpie in Rock-A-Doodle, Ned in Kim Possible and Lenny the Know-It-All in The Polar Express. Huang Wenyong

Biography

Huang Wenyong was a Malaysia-born Singaporean actor and former teacher of Chinese descent. Local media and fellow colleagues referred to him as "Ah Ge" (senior actor) due to his status. Huang died at the Singapore General Hospital at around 5 pm (GMT+8) on 20 April 2013, at the age of 60 due to lymphoma. Huang was a teacher in Kuala Lumpur before leaving for Singapore. Huang moved to Singapore in the 1970s, with only fifty dollars in hand. He joined the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation in 1977. He is perhaps best known for his appearances in The Awakening, in which he played love interest to Xiang Yun's character, and The Seletar Robbery during the 1980s. Huang is also known for starring alongside Chew Chor Meng in the long-running popular series Don't Worry, Be Happy (1996–2002) and its spin-off Lobang King as the stingy uncle Leon Ong Kim Lye to Chew's character Ah Bee. Huang was nominated for and named one of the Top 10 Most Popular Male Artistes every single year in the annual Star Awards since its introduction in 1994, until his death in 2013. In total, Huang starred in more than a hundred Chinese-language television programmes. In addition to acting, Huang sang pieces for a few television sitcoms and also released two albums. He was an ambassador for anti-ageing product company Zell-V. He was an actor for MediaCorp from the late 1970s until his death. Jacqueline Danell Obradors (born October 6, 1966) is an American actress. Obradors was born in San Fernando Valley, California to Argentine immigrants Angie, a church worker, and Albert Obradors, an office cleaning business owner. Before becoming an actress, Jaqueline was a cashier at Hughes Market (now Ralphs) in Canoga Park, California. She is best known for playing supporting roles in Six Days Seven Nights (as Angelica) and A Man Apart, and for her role as Detective Rita Ortiz on the ABC crime drama NYPD Blue (2001–2005). She also appeared as "Carmen" in "Tortilla Soup," in 2001. In 2001, Obradors voiced the role of Audrey in Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire and 2004 sequel, Atlantis: Milo's Return. She appeared on the show, Freddie, starring Freddie Prinze, Jr., as Sofia, Freddie's sister, during the 2005-06 television season.
