From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Rodney Allen Brooks (born December 30, 1954, in Adelaide, Australia) is a professor of robotics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Since 1986 he has authored a series of highly influential papers which have inaugurated a fundamental shift in artificial intelligence research. Outside the scientific community Brooks is also known for his appearance in a film featuring him and his work, Fast, Cheap, and Out of Control. Larry Booker

Biography

Larry Booker, better known by his ring names Moondog Spot and Larry Latham, was an American professional wrestler. Booker debuted in 1979 under the ring name Larry Latham. Latham formed a tag team with Carl Fergie called "The Ragin' Cajuns" managed by Billy Spears in the Gulf Coast territory. Early in his career, he wrestled in Memphis and Mid-South. His first big push came as a member of the Blond Bombers with Wayne Farris. The Blond Bombers were involved in heated feuds with several baby faces across the two competing Tennessee promotions, appearing in both Nick Gulas Nashville based territory, and Jerry Jarrett's Memphis area. The team was managed by Danny Davis. Their signature moment was the now famous "Tupelo Concession Stand Brawl" against Jerry Lawler and Bill Dundee. Years later, Booker resurfaced as "Moondog Spot", a member of The Moondogs. Booker became a WWWF World Tag Team Champion as a replacement for Moondog King in May 1981. Booker held the title along with Moondog Rex until they were defeated by Rick Martel and Tony Garea on July 21, 1981. The Moondogs also frequently appeared in Memphis where they feuded with The Fabulous Ones, The Rock 'n' Roll Express, and Midnight Express. The Moondogs became a regular gimmick in the Memphis promotion featuring a revolving door of wrestlers who teamed with Latham. On November 7, 1985 he wrestled in the tournament on the WWF pay-per-view event Wrestling Classic. He defeated Terry Funk in the first round by count out, then lost to Junkyard Dog in the quarterfinals. In March 2003, he made a few appearances as Moondog Spot in NWA:Total Nonstop Action. Latham died of a heart attack in the ring during Jerry Lawler's "birthday bash" show on November 29, 2003 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Born in Montreal in 1961, Sylvain L’Espérance studied film and visual arts. For the past 25 years, he has travelled widely, from Quebec to Mali to Greece. He has directed nearly a dozen films that combine direct cinema with experimental research to explore reality through a poetic lens. His films question our relationships with outsiders and marginalized communities. They give voice to migrants, workers, artisans, sailors, fishermen, shepherds, the unemployed and the homeless. These voices are carried by street theatre, song and poetry and merge into a political cry that speaks the unspoken.

Lori Nelson

Biography

Lori Nelson was an American actress born in Santa Fe, New Mexico on August 15, 1933. She began as a performer, dancing at the young age of 4, as well as winning a Little Miss America title. Many of her early auditions were unsuccessful. However, in 1952, she made it into her first role as Marjie Baile in Bend of the River. Many of her roles were large, but were mostly in 1950s B-movies. Today, she is acting sparingly, most recently in The Naked Monster. She costarred with Barbara Eden in the series How to Marry a Millionaire (1957–1959). However, she also had a well-remembered role as Mara, the Mayor's daughter, opposite Van Johnson (who played two roles) in the 1957 made-for-TV musical film The Pied Piper of Hamelin, a motion picture which premiered on NBC and then went on to be syndicated and shown annually on local television stations. Michael Philippou

Biography

Danny Philippou and Michael Philippou (born 13 November 1992), known together online as RackaRacka, are Australian twin filmmakers, YouTubers, and stunt performers. They are known for their horror comedy YouTube videos and for the career as horror filmmakers which those videos spawned. They have won numerous awards for their work, including the Best International Channel Streamy Award, Best Overall at the Online Video Awards, and the AACTA Award for the Best Web Show. Originally from Adelaide with Greek heritage, the brothers moved to Los Angeles in January 2019 but continue to make films in Australia. They made their feature directorial debut when they wrote and directed the supernatural horror film Talk to Me, which premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival and was released internationally on 27 July 2023. Their second film, Bring Her Back, was released in 2025. Both received positive reviews. Natalie Dormer

Natalie Dormer (born 11 February 1982) is an English actress, best known for her roles as Anne Boleyn in the Showtime series The Tudors and as Margaery Tyrell in the HBO series Game of Thrones. Dormer was born in Reading, Berkshire and attended Chiltern Edge Secondary School before moving to Reading Blue Coat School, an independent boys' school that admits girls in the sixth form. She grew up with her stepfather, mother, sister Samantha, and brother Mark. She has said that she was the victim of bullying while at school. At school, Dormer was head girl, a straight-A student, vice-captain of the school netball team and she also got to travel the world with her school's public speaking team. During her school years, Dormer trained in dance at the Allenova School of Dancing. She describes herself as the "academic hopeful" of the family and was offered a place to study history at Cambridge; but, in her A-level History exam, she did not achieve the A grade she needed to attend. Dormer decided she would audition for drama schools and decided to train at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

Paramitaa Munsi is an Indian filmmaker, writer, and poet known for her work in Bengali Cinema. She made a remarkable directorial debut with the critically acclaimed The Caveman (2019). Her second feature film, Ami Jokhon Hema Malini (2025) received widespread praise and was showcased at prestigious international film festivals. Ami Jokhon Hema Malini (2025) received its World Premiere at the Rainbow International Film Festival and was selected for several international film festivals, including the Indian International Film Festival, Boston, and the MOSAIC International Film Festival in Canada. The film won the Best Story and Screenplay Award at the Calgary Bengali International Film Festival. Munsi is also a prominent television writer, having written numerous popular Bengali serials, including Ekhane Akash Neel, Guria Jekhane Guddu Sekhane, Nishir Daak, and Godhuli Alap, as well as the Hindi serial Dalchini. In addition to feature films, she has directed several short films, including The Last Tram, Love After Death, Makorsha, Bhalobasa Dot Com, and Marriage Anniversary. She is a published poet in Bengali literature with four poetry collections released by established publishers. Outside her creative work, she is actively involved in animal welfare and initiated India’s first celebrity pet calendar.

Henri Cogan (born 13 September 1914 in Paris; † 23 September 2003 in Boulogne-Billancourt) was a French actor and stuntman. Before Henri Cogan became a fight choreographer for European action films he proved his expertise in hand-to-hand combat publicly by fighting as a professional wrestler. Nathalie Saint-Criq (born in 1960) is a French journalist, working for France Télévisions. Nathalie Saint-Cricq earned her degree from Sciences Po in 1983, and a "Diploma of Higher Specialised Studies" in marketing in 1985, before gaining a master's degree in literature. Saint-Cricq produced reports for La Cinq and then France 2. From 2006 to 2009, she presented the programme Quand j'étais petit on Europe 1. She was then chief editor for the programmes Des paroles et des actes and À vous de juger on France 2. At the end of June 2012, she succeeded Fabian Namias as head of political affairs on France 2. On 3 May 2017, with co-hosted the televised debate of the second round of the French presidential election between Marine Le Pen and Emmanuel Macron. Since September 2017, she was a commentator on L'Émission politique on France 2, presented by Léa Salamé. In July 2019, she was promoted to become political editorialist of France Télévisions. She is the daughter of Jacques Saint-Cricq, president of the supervisory board of La Nouvelle République du Centre-Ouest, and the granddaughter of Jean Meunier, founder of the same newspaper, and French socialist politician, who took part in the French Resistance. The Saint-Cricq family is one of the two controlling shareholders of the Nouvelle République du Centre-Ouest press group, which edits the newspaper of the same name, several other titles in the written press, and owns a 40% share in the channel TV Tours Val de Loire. Saint-Cricq's brother, Olivier Saint-Cricq, is the head of the management board. Her partner is journalist Patrice Duhamel. In 2009, Saint-Cricq signed a petition in support of film director Roman Polanski, calling for his release after Polanski was arrested in Switzerland in relation to his 1977 charge for drugging and raping a 13-year-old girl. Wolé Parks (born July 27, 1982) is an American actor from New York City, best known for his television and film work. He earned a B.F.A. in Fine Arts and a B.A. in Mathematics from New York University. Parks began acting with early guest roles on shows like Law & Order and Law & Order: Criminal Intent and later had a regular role as Dallas Griffin on the CBS soap As the World Turns. He gained wider recognition as Sam Alexander on Devious Maids and appeared as the supernatural character Cade in The Vampire Diaries. Since 2021, he has portrayed John Henry Irons (also called The Stranger or Steel) in the CW superhero series Superman & Lois. Outside acting, he volunteers with educational and HIV/AIDS‑related causes.
