Diaana Babnicova

Biography

Diaana Babnicova (born 2009) is a British child actress. She began her career on the West End. On television, she is known for her roles in the Sky Kids series Little Darlings (2022) and the CBBC series The Famous Five (2023). Her films include Don't Breathe 2 (2021) and Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot (2024). Babnicova was born to Ghanaian mother Sandra Frimpong and Slovak father Juraj Babnič. She has an older brother Denis. At age 10, Babnicova earned a scholarship to the Sylvia Young Theatre School. She previously trained at London Arts Academy (LAA). Babnicova made her professional stage debut alternating the role of Shonelle in the West End production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's School of Rock at the Gillian Lynne Theatre. That same year, she appeared in the music video for George Ezra's "Pretty Shining People". This was followed by her feature film debut the next year in the Netflix film Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey as a young version of Anika Noni Rose's character. Babnicova then played Billie in the 2021 horror sequel Don't Breathe 2. In 2022, Babnicova made her television debut as the lead character Sunset in the Sky Kids adaptation of Little Darlings and its companion series On Tour: Little Darlings. She also contributed to the Little Darlings soundtrack. She starred as George Barnard in the 2023 CBBC adaptation of The Famous Five. She then played Terri in Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot, a film about foster care. Peter Birrel

Biography

Peter Birrel (né Peter Cohen 19 July 1935 – 23 June 2004) was an English actor who played numerous parts on British television for nearly forty years. Birrel appeared in the Doctor Who story Frontier in Space in 1973, as well as in the documentary I Was a "Doctor Who" Monster. He also appeared in the first series of Alexander the Greatest. His film credits included Freelance (1971), Arch of Triumph (1984), and the television miniseries Freud (1984), War and Remembrance (1988) and Around the World in 80 Days (1989). In 1979 he played a guest-role in George and Mildred as George's brother Charlie Roper in the episode A Military Pickle He married actress Stephanie Cole in 1998. She was widowed by his death from cancer in Bath, aged 68 in 2004.

Guich Koock

Biography

A sixth generation Texan, born and raised on a Texas ranch outside of Austin, Texas, Guich Koock (his stage name) attended Texas A&M University, where he earned a BA in English and worked on an MA in Texas folklore by collecting stories from children of slaves. After school he worked at various jobs including some small acting parts, school Headmaster, and restaurant manager. Koock later bought the town of Luckenbach, Texas, along with his friend Russell "Hondo" Crouch, and organized the great Luchenbach World's Fair and the luckenbach women's chili cookoff. It was while that Koock was spotted by casting director, Sherry Rhodes, who cast him in young director Steven Spielberg's first movie "The Sugarland Express." Koock has made a career of playing good ole boys in many films and TV shows, perfecting it in the 1980s sitcom "Carter Country." He's still remained true to his Texas roots. After selling Luckenbach, Koock supported his acting career through a restaurant he bought and operated in Fredericksburg, Texas. Koock continues to enjoy acting, but has never thought of it as real work.

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 - October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. On October 31, 2020, it was announced that Connery had died at the age of 90.

Lou Ellen "Lulu" Couch was born in 1963. Couch grew up in the projects of South Seattle, Washington with her siblings who included her youngest biracial brother Frankie. A tough and butch, yet still caring and tender tomboy lesbian, Lou Ellen served as a mentor and protector to many teenage runaways living on the hard streets of Seattle. Couch was prominently featured in the acclaimed documentary Streetwise as well as in the book Street Child: A Memoir by Justin Reed Early, who knew Lou Ellen when he was a homeless youth. (Couch was also the inspiration for the character of Bullet in the TV series The Killing.) Lou Ellen died on December 12, 1985 after she was fatally stabbed in the heart during a fight with a homeless man in an arcade in downtown Seattle. She was only twenty-two years old.

Jeffrey Combs (born September 9, 1954) is an American actor highly regarded for his numerous roles in the Star Trek franchise, especially in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (DS9). He played multiple characters in DS9, including the Vorta clone Weyoun, which was his most significant and favorite role, and the Ferengi character Brunt. Combs uniquely appeared as both characters in the same episode, "The Dogs of War," becoming one of the few actors to play two different characters in one DS9 episode. Beyond DS9, he also appeared in Star Trek: Enterprise as the Andorian commander Shran, in Star Trek: Voyager, and in Star Trek: Lower Decks with voice roles.
