Sarah-Jane Potts (born 30 August 1976) is an English actress, who is best known for her roles as Saint (Sarah) in Sugar Rush, as Ellie an on/off girlfriend on Casualty, as Staff Nurse Eddie McKee in Holby City, and as Jo Lipsett in Waterloo Road. Sarah-Jane Potts is also the sister of actor Andrew-Lee Potts best known for his Connor Temple in Primeval. Early in her career she noted that "In the three years I have been acting I have spent most of the time looking dirty, scruffy, ill or tarty". Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer. He won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. On October 31, 2020, Connery died at the age of 90.

Bernadett Tuza-Ritter

Biography

Bernadett Tuza-Ritter is a Hungarian independent film director and editor specializing in creative documentaries and fiction. She studied directing and editing at the University of Theatre and Film Arts Budapest. In 2013 she worked as a director in the project called ‘Cinetrain – Russian Winter’ which won the audience award at Vision du Reel documentary festival. Member of HSE and Hungarian Film Academy. Her first feature length documentary A WOMAN CAPTURED premiered at IDFA 2017 Main Competition. After its world premiere it was selected by Sundance Film Festival 2018 – World Cinema Documentary Competition, and thus it will be the first Hungarian feature length film ever to compete at Sundance, in January of 2018.

Nancy O'Dell

Biography

Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as a reporter and anchor at WPDE-TV in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She later worked as morning news anchor and crime reporter at WCBD-TV. While in Charleston, O'Dell's reports on the lenient police approach to DUI cases led to a State Law Enforcement Division investigation that resulted in state authorities re-issuing a more stringent directive regarding these cases. Ms. O'Dell was honored by the Associated Press with the Best Report of the Year Award (all media, South Carolina). Following her work in Charleston, O'Dell served as co-anchor and investigative reporter for NBC's Miami station, WTVJ-TV, before joining Access Hollywood (1996) as a weekend co-anchor and weekday correspondent in 1996. In addition to her current work as a lead anchor on Access Hollywood (1996), Ms. O'Dell also contributes to NBC News' Today (1952), and also to Dateline NBC (1992). She has covered such events as The Oscars, The Emmys, The Grammys and The Golden Globe Awards, as well as co-hosting a number of Pre-Show/Arrivals shows for The Emmys and the Golden Globes. She also co-hosted the Miss USA 2005 pageant, and the Miss Universe 2005 pageant. Although O'Dell maintains a busy work schedule, she regularly makes time for philanthropic endeavors. The American Red Cross, the March of Dimes, Best Buddies, and Childhelp USA have all benefited from her efforts. A leader from the start, Nancy was valedictorian of her high school class, and is a summa cum laude honors graduate of Clemson University. A native of South Carolina, O'Dell was inducted into that state's Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame in 1998. She was the youngest member ever and was awarded in recognition of her journalistic success.

Óscar Isaac Hernández Estrada (born March 9, 1979) is an American actor. Recognized for his versatility, he has been credited with breaking stereotypes about Latino characters in Hollywood. He was named the best actor of his generation by Vanity Fair in 2017 and one of the 25 greatest actors of the 21st century by The New York Times in 2020. His accolades include a Golden Globe Award and a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award. In 2016, he featured on Time's list of the 100 most influential people in the world. Born in Guatemala, Isaac moved with his family to the United States as an infant. As a teenager, he joined a punk band, acted in plays and made his film debut in a minor role. A graduate of the Juilliard School, Isaac was a character actor in films for much of the 2000s. His first major role was that of Joseph in the biblical drama The Nativity Story (2006), and he won an AACTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for portraying political leader José Ramos-Horta in the Australian film Balibo (2009). Val Edward Kilmer (December 31, 1959 – April 1, 2025) was an American actor. Originally a stage actor, Kilmer became popular in the mid-1980s after a string of appearances in comedy films, starting with Top Secret! (1984), then the cult classic Real Genius (1985), as well as blockbuster action films, including a role in Top Gun and a lead role in Willow. During the 1990s, Kilmer gained critical respect after a series of films that were also commercially successful, including his roles as Jim Morrison in The Doors, Doc Holliday in 1993's Tombstone, Batman in 1995's Batman Forever, Chris Shiherlis in 1995's Heat, and Simon Templar in 1997's The Saint. Marina Souza Ruy Barbosa (born June 30, 1995) is a Brazilian actress. Barbosa started off her career as a child actress with her first major role was in the telenovela Começar de Novo. Following the latter, she received an invitation to audition for "Sabina", a prominent character in the telenovela Belíssima, both by Rede Globo. Later, she portrayed the character "Isabel" in Sete Pecados. Portraying the rebellious Vanessa in Escrito nas Estrelas, Marina had the idea to create the zipper earrings used by the character, an accessory that would eventually become a fad among Brazilian teenagers. In 2011, Barbosa played the prejudiced Alice in the telenovela Morde & Assopra, where she met Klebber Toledo, with whom she dated for 3 years. In 2013 she participated in the soap opera Amor à Vida, interpreting Nicole, a young orphan and millionaire who gets cancer, Hodgkin's lymphoma type 4. In 2014, she gained great prominence in the telenovela Império, playing the nymphet "Maria Isis", thus winning the Contigo Television Awards for Best Supporting Actress. Her success in Império raised her career to the protagonist level. In 2015, she played the protagonist "Malvina" in Amorteamo, a character inspired by Tim Burton's Corpse Bride. As of 9 November 2015 she stars as the protagonist in the telenovela Totalmente Demais.

She spent half of her adolescence in Southeast Asia and the other half in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. She finished high school in Hong Kong at the French International School and studied drama in England where she completed two theatrical degrees. Since returning to Canada in 2000, Anna has established herself within the artistic community of Vancouver putting her vocal talents to good use as a voice-over artist, working in film and television, and performing in theatrical productions. Gilbert "Gilby" J. Clarke (born August 17, 1962) is an American musician, singer, songwriter and record producer best known for a 3-year tenure as the rhythm guitarist of Guns N' Roses, replacing Izzy Stradlin in 1991 during the Use Your Illusion Tour. Following his departure from the group, Clarke went on to forge a solo career as well playing guitar with Slash's Snakepit, Kat Men, Heart, Nancy Sinatra, Kathy Valentine (of the Go-Go's), MC5 and forming his own group Rock Star Supernova with members of Metallica and Mötley Crüe. Clarke's production work includes albums by L.A. Guns, Bullets and Octane, The Bronx and Vains of Jenna.

John Filion

Biography

John Filion (born 1950) is a former Toronto city councillor represented Ward 18 Willowdale. Although he had planned to retire in 2018, after the legislation from Premier Doug Ford which expanded ward boundaries, he decided to run for re-election because he believes it makes it "virtually impossible for a community activist, known within one area, to get elected". He announced on June 10, 2022, that he would not be running in the October 2022 Toronto municipal election, retiring after 40 years in municipal politics. He was considered a "rare suburban progressive" on Toronto council.
