​From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.   Fran Ryan (November 29, 1916 – January 15, 2000) was an American character actress featured in television and films. She was born in Los Angeles, California. Fran Ryan began performing at the age of 6, at Oakland's Henry Duffy Theatre, in Northern California. She attended Stanford University for three years, and during World War II was a member of the USO entertaining troops. She performed comedy, singing and acting on stage in California and Chicago but was not to launch her television career for two decades. Her small screen debut came in an episode on Television's Batman, in 1966, followed by a bit part in Beverly Hillbillies. Ryan's best known television role was as Aggie Thompson in The Doris Day Show (in its first incarnation plotline theme), though the gig only lasted a few months. This role was cut short because she was offered the 'replacement' role on the hit series Green Acres as Doris Ziffel from 1969-1971. Fran was to replace Barbara Pepper, who by then was in poor health. Sadly, Miss Pepper died just five months later of heart ailments, on July 15, 1969. Ryan also starred on the long running TV Western series Gunsmoke during its twentieth and final season as Miss Hannah (Cobb). In 1987, she reprised the role of Miss Hannah in the TV movie Gunsmoke: Return to Dodge. Fran Ryan played the role of Sister Agatha in the soap opera General Hospital in (1979). She also did voices for cartoons such as Hong Kong Phooey, Mister T and Little Dracula. Fran starred on some TV shows for children like Sigmund and the Sea Monsters in 1975 as Gertrude Grouch, and in 1970s children's show The New Zoo Revue as Ms. Goodbody, the 1980s TV series No Soap, Radio as Mrs. Belmont, the short lived 1980s CBS TV series The Wizard as Tillie Russell from 1986-1987. Her last regular TV role was on The Dave Thomas Comedy Show. She starred in many feature films, including Flush (1977), Big Wednesday (1978), Take This Job and Shove It (1981), Pale Rider (1985), Chances Are, and in her scene-stealing cameo in 1981's Stripes, as a tortured cab fare to Bill Murray as the cabbie, in the opening scenes of the comedy film. Ryan made guest appearances on TV shows ranging from Batman, Adam-12, CHiPs, Quantum Leap, Night Court, Baywatch to The Commish. Fran Ryan was often compared to actress Marjorie Main; they looked similar to one another. Ryan died on January 15, 2000, at age 83. She is buried in the family plots alongside her mother, at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, in Hayward, California. Johnny Carson

Biography

John William Carson (October 23, 1925 – January 23, 2005) was an American television host, comedian, writer, and producer. He is best known as the host of The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson (1962–1992). Carson received six Primetime Emmy Awards, the Television Academy's 1980 Governor's Award, and a 1985 Peabody Award. He was inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame in 1987. Carson was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1992 and received a Kennedy Center Honor in 1993. Marie Kristin Gabert is a German professional wrestler better known by the ring name Alpha Female. She is currently working for World Wonder Ring Stardom. is a German professional wrestler and mixed martial artist, currently signed to WWE performing on their NXT UK brand. She is best known on the independent scene as Alpha Female and Jazzy Gabert. She has wrestled for World Wonder Ring Stardom, Impact Wrestling (TNA) and in the Mae Young Classic tournament. She is also a professional powerlifter, strongwoman, and bodybuilder. abert started training in 2001 under the wing of Joe E. Legend and Murat Bosporus, as well as other trainers from the German Wrestling Federation (GWF) promotion. Her first match took place on 7 April, where she faced Wesna and Blue Nikita in a three-way match under the ring name Jazzy Bi for the NWA Germany European Women's Championship, a match won by the champion Wesna. Gabert continued competing in the GWF. On 20 April 2002 Gabert teamed with Ahmed Chaer and Chris The Bambikiller in a six-person tag team ladder match against Wesna, Carlos Gallero and Fake Dog, which they would lose. Two months later on 22 June, Gabert teamed with Blue Nikita in a tag team match against Wesna and Missy Blond, which they would lose. She would continue to wrestle against Nikita and Wesna in Germany in promotions such as Professional Wrestling Alliance (PWA) and European Wrestling Association (EWA) from 2003 to 2006. Gabert made her debut for the Queens of Chaos promotion, located in Paris, France on 11 December 2006 competing in the one-night tournament to determine the number one contender for the Queen of Chaos championship. She defeated Pandora in the first round match, only to lose in the finals to April Hunter during a four-corners elimination match. Gabert returned to the promotion a month later on 21 January 2007, unsuccessfully challenging Hunter for the Queen of Chaos championship in a Iron Man match. Two months later on 18 March, Gabert once again lost to Hunter in a title match. On 1 July in the Fighting Spirit Federation promotion, Gabert unsuccessfully challenged Minx for the Queens of Chaos European championship. On 15 September, she defeated Allison Danger and Jetta to become the number one contender for the Queens of Chaos championship, and defeating Wild Xenia later in a singles match. In January, 2008, she won her first title -the EWE women's championship- in Bilbao, Spain against the Italian wrestler Lisa Schianto. She retained her EWE title in San Fernando, Cádiz, Spain (April, 14, 2008) against Croatian wrestler Wesna Busic and retained too in Sevilla, Spain (June, 28, 2008) in front of the Swedish Jenny Sjödin. Gabert made her mixed martial arts debut on October 15, 2016, defeating Manuela Kuhse via technical knockout. Gabert faced Reina Miura on April 16, 2017, at Rizin FF 5: Sakura. Brie Burke is an Actress and Singer who made her acting debut in theatre at the ripe old age of seven in “Beauty and the Beast”. Brie has since appeared in various roles in other theatre productions and recitals. Her most recent theatre roles have been as a Silly Girl in “Beauty and the Beast” and the Red Queen/Robin in “Through the Looking Glass” where she sang her way into the audiences’ hearts. Some of her favorite and most memorable roles were in Evita, Fiddler on the Roof and Sleeping Beauty among many others. In Beauty and the Beast, Brie was an adorable singing/dancing Sugar Cube who was too sweet for words. As Rabbit in Winnie the Pooh, she worked and frolicked in the Hundred Acre Woods with Pooh and the gang. As Meanarella, Maleficent’s side-kick in Sleeping Beauty, she schemed and laughed the audience’s worries away. As Tinkerbell, the audience got nothing less than Faith, Trust, oh yeah...a little bit of Pixie Dust! ​In the summer of 2018, Brie attended Broadway Artists Alliance of New York City (BAA) Intensive Summer Program, where she was fortunate to work with TONY Award winners and current Broadway Performers, as well as NYC’s top Casting Directors, Agents, and Coaches. Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 - October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. On October 31, 2020, it was announced that Connery had died at the age of 90.

Nelson Eddy

Nelson Ackerman Eddy (June 29, 1901 - March 6, 1967) was an American singer and movie star who appeared in 19 musical films during the 1930s and 1940s, as well as in opera and on the concert stage, radio, television, and in nightclubs. A classically trained baritone, he is best remembered for the eight films in which he costarred with soprano Jeanette MacDonald. He was one of the first "crossover" stars, a superstar appealing both to shrieking bobby-soxers as well as opera purists, and in his heyday was the highest paid singer in the world. During his 40-year career, he earned three stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (one each for film, recording, and radio), left his footprints in the wet cement at Grauman's Chinese Theater, earned three Gold records, and was invited to sing at the third inauguration of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. He also introduced millions of young Americans to classical music and inspired many of them to pursue a musical career. Sidse Babett Knudsen is a Danish actress who works in theatre, television, and film. Knudsen made her screen debut in the 1997 improvisational comedy Let's Get Lost, for which she received both the Robert and Bodil awards for Best Actress. Following the critical success of her debut, Knudsen has been considered one of the top Danish actresses of her generation.
