Werner Nekes

Biography

Werner Nekes was born in 1944 in Erfurt and studied linguistics and psychology in Freiburg. He then went to Bonn in 1964 where he was a head of the University Film Club and later chairman of the FIAG. He developed friendships with film directors, sculptors and painters. These included Dore 0., his companion and collaborator since 1967. He began painting in 1965 with diverse materials and objects. He started his practice of film with 8mm and went on with 16mm. He decided to free the film from narration and psychology and organized his films according to temporal units and structural systems. In spring 1967, his films were rejected by the Kurzfilmtage of Oberhausen. Thus, Nekes organized a counter-event. The same year in November, he comes to Hamburg with Dore 0., whom he marries the following month. He was a co-founder of the Hamburg cooperative of filmmakers and was a co-organizer of the « Hamburger Filmschau » in 1967. From 1973, he travelled all over the world to make seminaries about film theory and retrospectives. He moved to Mülheim an der Ruhr in summer 1978. He co-founded the Filmbüro NW in 1980 and the ICNC (International Center for New Cinema) in Riga in 1988. His work was shown at major international museums and festivals, including The Museum of Modern Art New York, or the Kassel Dokumenta. He was also a professor: from 1969 to 1972 and 2004 to 2006 at the Academy of Fine Arts (Hochschule für Bildende Künste) in Hamburg, from 1981 to 1982 at Wuppertal University, from 1982 to 1984 at the Kunsthochschule Offenbach, and, from 1990-96 at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne. Furthermore, Nekes has compiled one of the most important private collections of artefacts documenting 500 years of pre-cinematographic experiments as well as developments in the early history of film, focusing on spatial and temporal principles of representation.

Rainer M. Ehrhardt

Biography

Rainer Maria Ehrhardt began his career as Radio DJ for Radio Luxembourg and "Hessischer Rundfunk", Frankfurt. It didn´t take much time and you could hear him in a lot of commercials. With the foundation of his "MultiMedia-Studios" he had all possibilities to do his own audio-recordings. Later he started video production business as well. More than 600 Point-of-sale-videos were made by him and his company. As a former musician and production assistent of Frank Farian (Boney M., Milli Vanilli etc.) he also produced the music for these corporate videos. Not only in commercials, but also in many German TV-stations. He was the German voice for the BBC-series "Wonderful World" and spoke the News at the 3SAT-show "Kulturzeit" for fourteen years! His voice can cover many moods and helps many productions to become really successful. Since 2003 Ehrhardt runs an own voice over agency ("WorldWIdeVoices") with more than 4500 professional voice artists from all over the world. And that´s not all: Rainer leads the theater "Volksbühne Bad Homburg" or he acts and directs in their plays. He was also the co-founder and leader of the German Voice over society "Verband Deutscher Sprecher", VDS, for many years.

Biography

Born Austin Trace Borusiewicz in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. Austin has been acting since the age of 7. His first television appearance was on Season 3 of "Mad Men" at the age of 10. Austin is known for his Recurring Guest Star role as "Viper" on "About a Boy" and a Guest Star in "Game Shakers", "American Housewife", "Wendell and Vinnie" & "Medium" and a Co-Star in "The Middle". He also recently Guest Starred in the new HBO Max Show "Generation" & Co-Starred in the new Starz Show "Shining Vale" with Courtney Cox, Mira Sorvino & Greg Kinnear. Austin's movie credits include the lead role of "Silas" in "Thicker Than Water" which won the DGA African American Director Award along with 14 other various awards. He also had a supporting role in "Beneath the Leaves" with Mira Sorvino. More recently, he Guest Starred in the Lifetime Movie "Deadly Daughter Switch" and the feature film called "After the Reign" When Austin was 10 when he starred in the film, "The Planeteer" as Bradley McGuire. The film won an Emmy for Outstanding Children's Program at the 32nd Annual CTA's in Hollywood in April 2011. Austin also has several Voice Over credits. He is the voice of Alex Robbins in the popular podcast called "We're Alive: Goldrush" & "We're Alive: Desendants". He is also the American overdub voice of Dr. Enzo Vergani of the Brazilian Netflix "The Chosen One". Austin studies at the John Rosenfeld Studios with Actor & Coach John Rosenfeld. He is also a Multi-Award Winning filmmaker and would like to become a Director. In his free time he is an avid golfer and an expert Skateboarder.

Rebecca Lynn Olkowski (born December 16, 1953 in Denver, Colorado), better known by her maiden name, Rebecca Forstadt, is an American voice actor who is best known for playing anime girls with sweet voices. She is also known as Reba West and Becky Olkowski. After studying theater at Orange Coast College, in Costa Mesa, California, Ms. Forstadt began her acting career by working at Knott's Berry Farm's Bird Cage Theater, performing melodramas, often as the damsel in distress character. Later, she moved to Hollywood where she worked as a wardrobe mistress on such television shows as The White Shadow and Hill Street Blues, as well as for the film S.O.B.. She also spent several years doing live theater in the Los Angeles area. Most notably, she won some recognition for her portrayal of the character Josette in the world premiere of Eugène Ionesco's Tales for People Under 3 Years of Age at the Stages Theatre Center in 1982. She starred in several low-budget movies such as Mugsy's Girls, with Ruth Gordon and Laura Branigan, and Round Numbers with Kate Mulgrew and Samantha Eggar. She also appeared as a television actress in Hill Street Blues, St. Elsewhere, and L.A. Law. Her voice acting breakthrough came when she landed the leading role of Lynn Minmei in the English version of Robotech, the popular anime series of the 1980s. Since then, she has voiced hundreds of other anime characters and has branched into non-anime cartoons, live-action shows (such as Masked Rider and Power Rangers: Time Force), commercials and radio work, and has performed background voices for movies such as Antz, Dr. Doolittle, and The Santa Clause. Rudhraksh Jaiswal is a young and effervescent boy who kickstarted his career in the year 2013, as he bagged the role of Sahadeva in the magnum opus Mahabharta. Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer. He won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. Lois Sturt

Lois Ina Sturt was born on 25 August 1900, the daughter of Humphrey Sturt, 2nd Baron Alington, and Lady Feodorowna Yorke. Her maternal grandfather was Charles Yorke, 5th Earl of Hardwicke, and her brother was Napier Sturt, 3rd Baron Alington. She became famous as the most painted woman of England: at just 20 years old, she had already seven portraits taken, including 4 sketches by Etienne Drian, studies in oil by Ambrose McEvoy, Olive Snell and Gerald Kelly and a self-portrait. All seven were exhibited in 1921 at the annual show of the National Portrait Gallery. She attended the Slade School of Art and scandalizing society, she opened her own art studio in Chelsea. Wyndham Lewis said she was "the most beautiful debutante of her day" and Barbara Cartland said she was "fiery, impetuous, and with dark, flashing eyes."

Andrea Collins was born in Lewisburg Tennessee, and spent her early years classically trained in ballet. As Andrea approached her teen years, she began her pursuit towards studying acting. She actively enrolled in both theater, and method acting classes, performing shows throughout Tennessee. By her twenties, Andrea had branched off towards professional modeling, when she was scouted by Whilemena. Under their management, she worked on several national commercials, print campaigns, all the while continuing her theatrical training. Andrea went on to be featured in several music videos, with genres ranging from country, pop, to rock. This encouraged her to focus more on the acting side of her skill set, and take on more film related roles, and use her modeling as more of a supplement. Leonardo Villar (born as Leonardo Motta in Piracicaba, São Paulo, on July 25, 1923 - São Paulo, July 3, 2020) was a Brazilian actor. He became internationally known for his performance as Zé do Burro in Anselmo Duarte's O Pagador de Promessas, the only Brazilian film so far awarded with a Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. He started his career at the theater, but later also started acting in film and television. Villar debuted at the theater on the 1950 play Os Pássaros. His first film role only came in 1962 as Zé do Burro in Anselmo Duarte's O Pagador de Promessas. He received international exposure for the role after the film won the Palme d'Or and became the first Brazilian and South American feature nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. In 1965 he debuted on television in the TV Tupi telenovela A Cor de Sua Pele, which tells the story of an interracial relationship. In 1972, he moved to Rede Globo, where he starred in successful shows such as Escalada and Estúpido Cupido. In 2001, after almost 20 years without acting in the theater, he starred in the play A Moratória.
