Johan Vandewoestijne
Biography
Johan Vandewoestijne was born on August 26th 1961 in Kortrijk Belgium (Europe) At very young age he showed interest for television and cinema. He studied chemistry and afterwards he went to a filmschool in Brussels.The filmschool was a great disappointment since he always said and today more than ever, that cinema is much more entertainment than it is art. At the filmschool they claimed the opposite. So very rapidly he understood that this was not a place for him to stay. So he left after two years. He joined a video production team by the name of Acces Video and assisted with the lighting of corporate videos. In 1985 he left the company to start up a feature film project entitled " Lucker " which became a cult classic very soon. In 1988 he produced " Rabid Grannies ". Troma inc picked up the film and did the distribution upon this day. It was a 20 year contract and when that was expired Michael Herz asked him to prolonged it with another 20 years. In 1988 Lloyd Kaufman from Troma Inc asked him " to do something about his name ". " Vandewoestijne " means " from the desert " Lloyd said that " Vandewoestijne " for others than Flemish or Dutch, was difficult to pronounce so Johan changed his name into " James Desert " Till today Johan ( or James if you like) is producing and directing low budget horror and exploitation films, always English spoken. That's why some people also name him " The Roger Corman " of the low countries " a surname he seems to like. For many years his films were distributed by Troma Inc but the last five years he has a collaboration with Jeffrey Swanson of SGL entertainment located in Concord California.

assault or domestic violence themselves. Juan also co-wrote Mari and Mary and is co-writing two other scripts and pilot with Jeff Lee Ranson. His short film Marisol, which he wrote and directed, was OSCAR-qualified and recognized for its excellence, with the script acquired by the Margaret Herrick Library in 2018 for research purposes. The film also won Best Director, Best Film and Best Actress at the San Diego Movie Awards held at the Museum of Photographic Arts (MOPA) in San Diego.

Richard Bona
Biography
Richard Bona (born 28 October 1967 in Minta, Cameroon) is a virtuoso Cameroonian Grammy Award-winning jazz bassist. Bona Pinder Yayumayalolo was born in Minta, Cameroon, into a family of musicians, which enabled him to start learning music from a young age. His grandfather was a griot – a West African singer of praise and storyteller – and percussionist, as his mother was a singer. When he was four years old, Bona started to play the balafon. At the age of five, he began performing at his village church. Not being wealthy, Bona made many of his own instruments: including flutes and guitars (with cords strung over an old motorcycle tank).
His talent was quickly noticed, and he was often invited to perform at festivals and ceremonies. Bona began learning to play the guitar at the age of 11, and in 1980, aged just 13, he assembled his first ensemble for a French jazz club in Douala. The owner befriended him and helped him discover jazz music, in particular that of Jaco Pastorius, which inspired Bona to switch his focus to the electric bass.

Song Min Kyung is a South Korean singer, actress, and former member of the girl group The Seeya. She graduated from Baehwa Girls' High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Continuing Education from Soongsil University and a master's degree in Child Psychotherapy from Hanyang University.
She debuted as a soloist in 2009 under Kiroy Company, with the stage name JB (short for Jolly Baby) with the single "We Don't Get Along" but was not very successful and had to rethink her career. She was originally supposed to join T-ara but, in 2012, MBK Entertainment/Core Contents Media decided to re-launch a girl group that was active between 2006 and 2011 called SeeYa. She was introduced as the leader of the 4-member group rebranded as The SeeYa and re-debuted with the single album "Good To Seeya" featuring the title track "Be With You".
She also debuted as an actress in 2013 with a role in the KBS drama "Secret Love" and a year later she had her 1st theatrical role in the musical "Like Rain Like Music". Unfortunately, after a few more single albums, the group disbanded in 2015, but she went on to promote as a soloist as well as continue her acting career.

Sometimes credited as Patty DuPont, Miss DuPont was born as Patricia Hannon in Frankfort, Kentucky, though sources sometimes state her place of birth as Frankfort, Indiana. She appeared as a wealthy and naive American woman seduced by Erich von Stroheim's odious count in Foolish Wives (1922). Although Stroheim is credited with discovering her, she had already made several films beginning in 1919 with The Day She Paid. Miss DuPont died in Palm Beach in 1973.

Harrod Blank

Harrod Blank is a California native who grew up in the Bonny Doon Mountains of Santa Cruz, where he attended high school and college. In 1989, he moved to Berkeley, where he currently lives part-time.
When Harrod Blank first realized that his '65 VW Beetle could be treated as a canvas, the result was "Oh My God!". Painted like a beach ball with a bumper of plastic fruit & rubber chickens, a chalkboard on back and a TV on the roof, the car was the catalyst for his remarkable career.
Initially, Blank thought he was the only one in the world with an Art Car, and at times felt quite alienated. This would change, as he gradually learned from supporters that there were other such cars, spread out across the country. Drawing from what he had learned from his father, filmmaker Les Blank, and the BA in Theater Arts/Film he earned at UC Santa Cruz in 1986, Blank began photographing other Art Cars. Subsequently, he raised money through private investors and took out loans as needed to finance the 64-minute documentary he dreamed of making: Wild Wheels (1992).
To his credit, over 55 million people worldwide have now seen the film. Blank initially distributed "Wild Wheels", featuring 46 Art Cars and their respective artists, by driving "Oh My God!" with the film to 50 cities across the country. Publicity from the tour gained the interest of PBS, which broadcast the film repeatedly as a National Special in 1993. The following year, Blank's photography was featured in a companion book, "Wild Wheels" (Pomegranate, 1994; Blank Books, 2001), which was named "Best Book for Young Adults" by the American Library Association.
Blending his passion for Art Cars and his love of photography, Blank was inspired by a dream to attach 1,705 cameras to a 1972 Dodge van. Cleverly hiding ten working cameras among the rest, Blank had finally found a way to capture on film the public's candid expressions of awe and delight. In 1995, Blank drove the "Camera Van" to New York City for its official "debut" and shot over 5,000 photographs for a photography exhibit, "I've Got A Vision".
In 1995, still enthusiastic about the beauty and power of Art Cars, Blank began production of a feature-length sequel to Wild Wheels (1992). A short version of the film (Driving the Dream (1998), 29 minutes) was broadcast on TBS's National Geographic Explorer in October 1997 to help raise money for the epic feature-length film, Automorphosis (2009), was premiered January 2009 at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Thirteen years in the making, "Automorphosis" is considered Harrod's life's work up to this point.
Blank made his third Art Car in 1998, an interactive mariachi-themed music mobile called "Pico De Gallo", later unveiled in his new book, "Art Cars: the Cars, the Artists, the Obsession, the Craft" (Lark Books, 2002). Gene Shalit heralded the book on the Today (1952) Show as his favorite holiday gift suggestion. The Petersen Automotive Museum hosted a major exhibition of Art Cars in Spring 2003, of which Harrod Blank was Guest Curator.
As of July 2010, Blank is releasing Automorphosis (2009), and is editing "Burning Man: the Movie", a documentary film thirteen years in the making about the radical arts festival.

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer. Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama.
On October 31, 2020, Connery died at the age of 90.
