Biography

Courtney Baxter is from West Chester PA and joined both SAG and AFTRA at age 11 working around the country from that point forward. As a seasoned performer, those experiences helped develop her interest in all parts of film production. At 16, Courtney became an Executive Producer and lead in the drama "Reco" which did well on the festival circuit. As an 18 year old, she Executive Produced and starred as Eve in the horror feature film "Hallow's Eve" which gained eOne distribution in 2012, the same year she began college. In 2013 while interning at Tribeca Films, Courtney collaborated with her mentor and helped develop, produce, and star in the feature film "Running on Empty" which will premier in the US in 2014. In 2014, Courtney is proud to be part of the "Sharknado 2" team and had an awesome time filming the sequel to the instant cult classic "Sharknado." The film is set to premiere on the SYFY channel on July 31, 2014.

Melissa Bardin Galsky

Biography

Melissa Bardin Galsky, born in Harrison, New York, began her career in animation as an associate producer and talent coordinator for Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist. She rose to prominence voicing Melissa Robbins in Home Movies (1999-2004), a cult classic animated sitcom created by Brendon Small and Loren Bouchard. Her work on the show extended to writing, producing, and serving as a creative consultant. Galsky's distinctive voice brought characters to life in several animated series, including Hey Monie! (2003) as Robin and O'Grady (2004-2006) as Abby Wilde. She also voiced the titular character in Lucy, the Daughter of the Devil (2005-2007) on Adult Swim. After a brief hiatus from voice acting in 2007, she returned in 2011 to voice multiple characters in Bob's Burgers, including Nora Samuels, Ms. Jacobson, and others. Beyond acting, Galsky has made significant contributions behind the scenes. Barbara Flynn

Biography

Barbara Joy Flynn (born 5 August 1948) is an English actress. She first came to prominence playing Freda Ashton in the ITV drama series A Family at War (1970–1972). She went on to play the milk woman in the BBC comedy Open All Hours (1976–1985), Jill Swinburne in The Beiderbecke Trilogy (1985–1988), Dr. Rose Marie in the BBC series A Very Peculiar Practice (1986–1988), Judith Fitzgerald in the ITV drama Cracker (1993–1995), and Mrs. Jamieson in Cranford (2007–2009). In 2021, she appeared in Doctor Who: Flux as Tecteun, a founder of Time Lord society and The Doctor's adopted mother. Starting in 2023, she acted in Beyond Paradise, playing the mother of the detective's girlfriend. Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 - October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. On October 31, 2020, it was announced that Connery had died at the age of 90.

Betty Garrett

Biography

Betty Garrett (May 23, 1919 - February 12, 2011) was an American actress, comedian, singer and dancer, who starred in several Hollywood musicals and stage roles. She was at the top of her game when the Communist scare in the 1950s brought her career to a screeching, ugly halt. She and her husband Larry Parks, an Oscar-nominated actor, were summoned by the House UnAmerican Activities Committee and questioned about their involvement. As the drama played out, a very pregnant Garrett was never called to testify, but her husband was. With his admission of Communist Party membership from 1941-1945 and refusal to name names, he made it to the Hollywood Blacklist. After the incident, Garrett and Parks worked up nightclub singing/comedy acts along with appearing in legit plays. Although Parks never quite shook off the blacklist incident, he did win a role in John Huston's film, Freud (1962). Garrett went on to appear in roles in many television series.

Anna Karina

Anna Karina  (22 September 1940 - 14 December 2019) was a Danish film actress, director, and screenwriter who spent most of her working life in France. Karina was known as a muse of the director Jean-Luc Godard, one of the pioneers of the French New Wave. Her notable collaborations with Godard include The Little Soldier (1960), A Woman Is a Woman (1961) and Vivre sa vie (1962). With A Woman Is a Woman, Karina won the Best Actress award at the Berlin Film Festival. In 1972, Karina set up a production company for Vivre ensemble (1973), her directorial debut, which screened in the Critics' Week lineup at the 26th Cannes Film Festival. She also directed the French-Canadian film Victoria (2008). In addition to her work in cinema, she worked as a singer and wrote several novels.

George O'Brien (April 19, 1899 – September 4, 1985) was an American actor, popular during the silent film era and into the talkie era of the 1930s, best known today as the lead actor in F. W. Murnau's 1927 film Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans. He also starred in East Side, West Side (1927), The Johnstown Floor (1926), and John Ford's The Iron Horse (1924). Jean Edmond Dujardin (born 19 June 1972) is a French actor and comedian. He began his career as a stand-up comedian in Paris before guest starring in comedic television programmes and films. He first came to prominence with the cult TV series Un gars, une fille, in which he starred alongside his partner Alexandra Lamy, before gaining success in film with movies such as Brice de Nice, Michel Hazanavicius's OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies and its sequel OSS 117: Lost in Rio, as well as 99 Francs. Dujardin garnered international fame and widespread acclaim with his performance of George Valentin in the 2011 award-winning silent movie The Artist.
