Jennifer Sarah "Jenny" Slate is an American actress, stand-up comedian, and writer. Following early acting and stand-up roles on television, Slate gained recognition for her live variety shows in New York City and for co-creating, writing, and producing the children's short film and book series Marcel the Shell with Shoes On (2010–present). She became more widely known as a cast member on the 35th season of the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live between 2009 and 2010, followed by subsequent roles in the comedic series Bob's Burgers (2012–present), Parks and Recreation (2013–2015), House of Lies (2013–2015), and Kroll Show (2013–2015). Slate's breakout role came with her leading performance in the coming-of-age comedy-drama film Obvious Child (2014), for which she won the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Actress in a Comedy and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award and Gotham Independent Film Award. She lent voice performances to the animated films The Lorax (2012), Zootopia (2016), The Secret Life of Pets film franchise (2016–2019), The Lego Batman Movie, and Despicable Me 3 (both 2017), and she ventured into dramatic roles with her supporting performance as Bonnie in Gifted (2017). She also appeared in the critically acclaimed science-fiction film Everything Everywhere All at Once, winning the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

Michael Lai Siu-tin (Chinese: 黎小田; Jyutping: lai4 siu2 tin4; 8 November 1946 – 1 December 2019) was a Hong Kong music composer, record producer and actor. Lai was born in 1946 in British Hong Kong to the composer Lai Cho-tin and his literary critic wife, and he later became friends with Cantopop band leader Joseph Koo. Lai attended La Salle College. Lai first appeared on the music scene in the 1950s, but would also make a number of small but notable appearances as a film actor from the 1950s to 1990s.

Biography

Padmini Kolhapure is an acclaimed Indian actress, singer, and producer known for her contributions to Hindi and Marathi cinema. She emerged as a leading actress of the 1980s, with a career spanning four decades and over 100 films. Kolhapure has received multiple accolades, including three Filmfare Awards. Since 2024, she has been the Senior Vice President of the Cine and TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA). She began her on-screen journey at age seven, going from child actor to heroine at 17. Her early works include Zindagi (1976) and Dream Girl (1977). She had her breakthrough with Satyam Shivam Sundaram (1978) as young Roopa. Born into a Marathi-Konkani family, she is the second of three daughters to musician Pandharinath Kolhapure. Her great-aunts are Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle. After a hiatus in the 1990s, she returned in the 2000s with films like Chimani Pakhar (2000), earning a Screen Award. Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 - October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. He graduated from South Lyon High School and Eastern Michigan University. Heffron has appeared on Comedy Central Presents, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and won the second season of Last Comic Standing. He appeared as contestant of the third season of Last Comic Standing ranking third place with Rich Vos overall and runner-up for Season 2. He took a job as radio sidekick to Danny Bonaduce on a highly rated Detroit morning show on Q95-5 and did commentary on the 2004 VH1 TV series My Coolest Years: My First Time, and other VH1 shows.[citation needed] He toured with Charlie Murphy and Joe Rogan in Maxim and Bud Light's Real Men of Comedy tour in the fall of 2006. Murray Kinnell

Murray Kinnell (24 July 1889 – 11 August 1954) was a British-born American actor, recognized for playing smooth, gentlemanly, although rather shady characters. He began acting on the English stage in 1907, toured in the United States from 1912 through 1914, then returned to England where he served in the British Army during World War I. After the war, he emigrated to the US. He appeared in 71 films between the pre-code era of 1930 and 1937. He later served the Screen Actors Guild in several positions for 16 years.
