John Ridgely

Biography

​From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia John Ridgely (born John Huntington Rea, September 6, 1909 – January 18, 1968) was an American film character actor with over 175 film credits. He appeared in the 1946 Humphrey Bogart film The Big Sleep as blackmailing gangster Eddie Mars and had a memorable role as a suffering heart patient in the film noir Nora Prentiss (1947). He appeared in a large number of other Warner Bros. films in the 1930s and 1940s. Freelancing after 1948, John Ridgely continued to essay general-purpose parts until he left films in 1953. Thereafter, he worked in summer-theater productions and television until his death from a heart attack at the age of 58 in 1968.

Sean Connery

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 - October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. On October 31, 2020, it was announced that Connery had died at the age of 90.

Biography

Engy Wegdan graduated from the American University of Cairo in 2004, with a major in Mass Comm. and a double minor in architecture and theater. She began her career teaching English at a language institute, but later quit to work as a film editor for Rotana TV channel in 2004. After 1 year, Engy left to Dubai, were she continued as a film editor for Dubai's Elwaha Channel, until her return to Cairo the following year. Following her return, she edited music video clips such as the song "Try" by Hikmat, as well as advertising work for various ad agencies in Cairo. Her first appearance as an actress began in 2006, as Dalia, Tamer's sister in the hit TV show "Tamer and Showkeya". She is most well known for her role as "Arwah", the rambunctious, quick-witted lawyer in the movie "H. Dabbour." She later reprised her role as Arwah in a brief cameo appearance in the movie "Teer Inta".

Daniel Guliyev

Biography

Daniel Guliyev graduated from Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts and the London Film School. He was employed as a first assistant director in an advertising company, Cinealliance, for two years after completing his bachelor's degree in film direction in Azerbaijan. Daniel opted to pursue an MA in Filmmaking at LFS after realising that his job path was diverging from his core interests in film. He wanted to get back into directing and cinematography. He honed his skills as a writer/director and cinematographer during his MA. His graduating project is titled 'Bastard.' At the 17th Kazan International Muslim Film Festival, it was presented. The film follows a little child who is continuously mistreated as a result of his mother's behaviour. As a consequence, the young man chose to enroll in a military institution in order to defend himself and his family. To achieve his goal, the young man had to pass severe exams that put his moral and physical strength to the test. The film of Daniel Guliyev sparked a lot of attention among the festival attendees.

King Hu

Biography

Hu Jinquan (29 April 1932 – 14 January 1997), better known as King Hu, was a Chinese film director and actor based in Hong Kong and Taiwan. He is best known for directing various wuxia films in the 1960s and 1970s, which brought Hong Kong and Taiwanese cinema to new technical and artistic heights. His films Come Drink with Me (1966), Dragon Inn (1967), and A Touch of Zen (1970–1971) inaugurated a new generation of wuxia films in the late 1960s. Apart from being a film director, Hu was also a screenwriter and set designer.

Jeff Russo (born August 31) is an American composer, songwriter, guitarist, vocalist, and music producer, and one of the two founding members of the rock band Tonic. He is also a founding member of the Americana band Low Stars. Russo is also known for his work as a composer on various films and television series, notably Snowfall, Fargo, Legion, and Counterpart, as well as the Star Trek series Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Picard, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and For All Mankind. He also scored the miniseries The Night Of and the acclaimed video game What Remains of Edith Finch. For his work on Fargo, he won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited Series, Movie, or Special in 2017. Lucas N. Hall

Early Life: Lucas was raised in both Richmond and Beaverdam, Virginia. He attended Patrick Henry High School in Ashland, Virginia. Lucas attended Virginia Commonwealth University where he studied theatre performance. After he studied at Theatre VCU he toured nationally with Virginia Repertory Theatre (formerly Theatre IV, the Childrens Theatre of Virginia), for five years. Acting Career: Theatre: Lucas has performed in many theatres along the east coast from Wisconsin to Florida and Texas to Maine and every state in between. In 2003 he portrayed Wilbur Wright in The Wright Stuff while on tour with Theatre IV. Lucas, as Wilbur Wright, was the Co-Grand Marshal for The City of Hampton's 2003 Holly Days parade in honor of the 100 year anniversary of the Wright Brothers first flight. Lucas originated the role of John Smith in Theatre IV's first tour of The True Story of Pocahontas the musical. After touring with Theatre IV for five years, Lucas went on to work with several theatres in Virginia including Richmond Shakespeare (a Shakespeare Theatre Association member theatre), Swift Creek Mill Theatre, Mystery Dinner Playhouse, The School of the Performing Arts in the Richmond Community (SPARC), the Concert Ballet of Virginia, Sycamore Rouge and Virginia Patriots, among others. He was the Professional Karate Association (PKA) World Full-Contact Champion, and the Middleweight Kickboxing Champion for six years, retiring with a 23-0-0 record.
