Sean Connery

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 - October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award.
Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000).
Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama.
On October 31, 2020, it was announced that Connery had died at the age of 90.

Po ukončení gymnázia se neúspěšně pokoušel dostat na práva, nakonec vystudoval brněnskou JAMU. V roce 1994 se stal členem brněnského HaDivadla, kde sehrál za dobu svého působení řadu rolí; za zmínku stojí např. hlavní úloha ve Faustovi, postava Veršinina ve Třech sestrách, jeden z exmanažerů v Top dogs či jeho účinkování v dramatu Král Oidipus, znamenitém režisérském počinu J. A. Pitínského. Krom domovské scény působil také v brněnském Divadle v 7 a půl, kde ho diváci mohli vidět např. v hrách Oči bludných hvězd, Repetent nebo Baummel.
Vedle divadelních prken si Tomáš našel svou cestu i k filmu; v něm se poprvé objevil v roce 1995 v malé roli v komedii Byl jednou jeden polda (1995) režiséra Jaroslava Soukupa. Do povědomí diváků se dostal díky filmům Divoké včely (režie Bohdan Sláma, 2001) a Mistři (režie Marek Najbrt, 2004). Dále hrál například ve filmech Vyhnání z ráje Věry Chytilové (2000), Hrubeš a Mareš jsou kamarádi do deště (režie Vladimír Morávek, 2005), Muž, kterého chtějí (režie Irena Pavlásková, 2004), Gympl (režie Tomáš Vorel, 2007), Bestiář Ireny Pavláskové (2006) nebo ve filmu Bobule (režie Tomáš Bařina, 2007). Televizní diváci ho ovšem především znají ze seriálů – např. Rodinná pouta, Bazén, To nevymyslíš, Ulice, Trapasy, Comeback (2008).
Některé jeho televizní projekty, především alternativní zábavný pořad Komediograf, který vyšel z úspěšného divadelního představení, které Matonoha s kolegou Pavlem Liškou uvedli v HaDivadle a na dalších brněnských i pražských scénách, jsou spojeny s pojmem nezávislé scény. Účastní se též dalšího originálního hereckého projektu – komických vystoupení typu stand-up, které natočila stanice HBO pod titulem Na stojáka. Manželkou Tomáše Matonohy je herečka Lucie Benešová, vychovávají spolu čtyři děti.

Atandwa Kani (born June 6, 1984) is a South African actor, and the son of South African veteran actor John Kani.
Kani was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He was exposed to the entertainment industry at a young age by observing and learning from his father, who studied scripts for his own acting roles and took his son to theatre performances. These experiences influenced him to follow in his father's footsteps. He was educated at the University of Witwatersrand (Wits), where he studied theatre performance and participated in school productions. He graduated in 2008, with an Honours degree in theatrical performance. Kani is currently completing a MFA in Acting at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.

Zeinab Mostafa Nasr was born in Cairo to an art loving family. As a teenager, she started her acting career on the silver screen in “Bein al-samaa wal-ard i.e. Between Heaven and Earth”. Zizi married to a marine engineer at a young age after having her embroidery diploma and gave him a son and a daughter. She also got married to actor Mohamed Khairy. Babs Olusanmokun (born September 18, 1984) is a Nigerian-American actor, best known for his roles in the films Dune (2021), Too Old to Die Young (2019), and Black Mirror (2017). He is also a multilingual actor, fluent in English, French, Yoruba, and Portuguese. He is a third degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and champion.
Olusanmokun was born in Lagos, Nigeria, in 1984. He moved to the United States to attend college, where he studied theater at the University of California, Los Angeles. After graduating, he began his acting career in New York City.
Olusanmokun's first major film role was in the 2017 episode of Black Mirror titled "Black Museum." He then went on to appear in the films Too Old to Die Young and Dune. In 2022, he began starring in the Paramount+ original series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds as Dr. Joseph M'Benga.

Christine Willes is a Canadian television, theatre and film actress who is best known for her roles as Delores Herbig on the Showtime comedy-drama Dead Like Me and Gladys the DMV demon on the CW supernatural drama television series Reaper. She is also known for her role as Granny Goodness on the CW series Smallville.
Willes also played the recurring role of Agent Karen E. Kosseff, a government counselor, on the TV show The X-Files. She also appears in a minor recurring role on the show Reaper on The CW, as Gladys, a demon from Hell who works in the DMV. She was nominated for a Leo Award in 2008 for that role. Like her Dead Like Me co-star Callum Blue, she was cast as the villain Granny Goodness on The CW's Smallville's tenth and final season (Blue appeared in the previous season as Zod). She also had a small role in the award-winning film Trick r Treat starring Anna Paquin, which also featured another Dead Like Me co-star, Britt McKillip.
Christine appeared on the big screen in March, 2011 as Madam Lazar in Catherine Hardwicke’s production of Red Riding Hood – the first studio picture to be directed by a woman, shot by a woman and starring a woman (Amanda Seyfreid). She has won three Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards, and both produced and starred in Jasmina Reza’s The Unexpected Man. She directed Metamorphoses at Pacific Theatre in August 2008, and played Clara Epp in Touchstone Theatre's 2010 World Premiere of Sally Stubb's Herr Beckmann's People.
