Natalie Louise Maines Pasdar (born October 14, 1974) is an American singer-songwriter who achieved success as the lead vocalist for the female alternative country band, The Chicks (fka Dixie Chicks). Born in Lubbock, Texas, Maines considers herself a rebel who "loved not thinking in the way I knew the majority of people thought."
In 1995, after leaving Berklee College of Music, Maines was recruited by the Dixie Chicks to replace their lead singer, Laura Lynch. With Maines as lead vocalist, the band earned 10 Country Music Association Awards and 13 Grammy Awards for their work between 1998 and 2007.
On the eve of the Iraq invasion, while in concert in London for the 2003 Top of the World Tour, Maines commented that the Dixie Chicks were "...ashamed the President of the United States is from Texas." Negative public reaction in the United States to this comment resulted in boycotts by country music radio stations and death threats.
In 2006, with Maines still acting as lead singer, the Dixie Chicks released Taking the Long Way. The album subsequently won five Grammy Awards (including Album of the Year).

Yermek Bektasuly Shinarbayev (Kazakh: Ермек Бектасұлы Шынарбаев; born 24 January, 1953; Alma-Ata) is a Soviet and Kazakh film director. Shinarbaev is sometimes categorized as a member of the Kazakh New Wave. He is the only Kazakh director who is the owner of the Golden Leopard (winner of the Locarno Film Festival) for the film "The Place on a Grey Tricorne" (1993). He is especially well known for his collaboration with the Korean-Russian writer, Anatoli Kim, resulting to three films. The last of Shinarbaev-Kim film "Revenge" (1990), was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1991 Cannes Film Festival and won the grand prize at Sochi Open Russian Film Festival in 1990.

Mathew Baynton

Mathew John Baynton (born 18 November 1980) is an English actor, writer, comedian, singer, and musician. He is best known for his numerous roles in a children’s program Horrible Histories (2009-2013), as well as Yonderland (2013-2016), where he also played various different roles, and Ghosts (2019-) where he plays Thomas Thorne; other TV series he is popular by are You, Me and the Apocalypse (2015), The Wrong Mans (2013-2014). He is also known for appearing in films such as The Falling (2015) and Bill (2015).
He is familiar as one of the stars of the hit children's television series Horrible Histories, appearing over-all five series as a singer, actor, and occasional writer. He is the creator, writer, and star of Yonderland, an eight-part family fantasy comedy series that premiered on Sky1 on 10 November 2013. He starred with the same troupe in Bill, a BBC family comedy film based loosely around the early life of William Shakespeare. The troupe also reunited in 2019 to create the BBC series Ghosts, with him appearing as a romantic poet named Thomas Thorne. He teamed with James Corden to create, write, and star in The Wrong Mans (2013–2014), a comedy-thriller for BBC Two that premiered in autumn 2013.
Other notable TV comedy roles include the recurring character of Deano in Gavin & Stacey (2008–2009); co-starring as Chris in the Darren Boyd sitcom vehicle Spy (2011–2012); and William in the 2017 black comedy series Quacks. In late 2015, Baynton starred in science fiction comedy-drama miniseries You, Me and the Apocalypse.

Pauline Hope Chalamet (born January 25, 1992) is an American-French actress and producer. She made her feature film debut in Judd Apatow's comedy, The King of Staten Island (2020). From 2021 to 2025, she starred in the HBO Max comedy series The Sex Lives of College Girls.
Chalamet is a co-founder of the production company Gummy Films, which was established in 2019. Through the company, she has co-produced and starred in the dark comedy film What Doesn't Float (2023).

They have been involved with many folx including Nettles Artists Collective, La MaMa ETC, and HaitiDansCo. They bring to their work a toolset influenced by their experience in African dance, Suzuki, Sculpture, Photography, Viewpoints, technology, writing, Film Art Direction, and more that allow for a wide spectrum of exploration. Memo always looks for opportunities to collaborate on experimental and mixed discipline projects. Their latest works concentrate in film. More bits: They relocated to New York City in 2002 where they moved through gigs like sculpting for the iconic Holiday Windows, doing voice-over work for the National Guard, filing folders labeled "Mesothelioma" for a giant law firm, wearing a diaper on Law and Order SVU, counting people, and restoring antiques, until finally finding how great it is to be an Airbnb host. (Best survival gig ever!) Some special bits: Memo has also worked as an educator with various communities from underprivileged immigrant children in the wilds of South Florida to NYC students on the Autism Spectrum. Rodolfo Guzmán Huerta debuted in the ring in 1934, but his legend began to be woven on July 26, 1942 in the legendary Arena México. That night the robust fighter - who over the years made a career under the names Hombre Rojo, Enmascarado, Murciélago II and Demonio Negro, among others - debuted a brand new personality under a shiny silver mask. El Santo, the Silver Masked Man, was born.
The legend of El Santo was never the product of chance. His tenacity and versatility in the ring earned him the respect of his opponents and the admiration of the respectable public that night after night filled the coliseums where the Silver Masked Man gave an account of his fearsome rivals. He was rough and technical but, above all, he was an honest fighter who did not have to resort to tricks or scandals to increase his well-deserved fame.
From the ring to the screen, the route that El Santo followed to become an idol of Mexican cinema led him first to the world of comics. Thanks to the inventiveness of the cartoonist and editor José Guadalupe Cruz, Santo was the first fantastic character in popular Mexican literature and one of the most beloved, along with the legendary Kalimán.
The Silver Masked Man made his film debut in 1952. In that year, the popularity of wrestling in Mexico was increasing thanks to the broadcasts of this sport-spectacle on television. At the same time, the comics starring Santo, the Silver Masked Man - printed on that unforgettable sepia-colored paper - invaded magazine stands throughout the country and sold thousands of copies every week. A few years later, the circulation of Santo's adventures would reach more than a million weekly magazines.

Jay Lane (born December 5, 1964) is an American drummer. He is a founding member of Bob Weir's RatDog, with Weir and Rob Wasserman, Wolf Bros, Furthur, Golden Gate Wingmen, Dead & Company and Alphabet Soup. He was the 7th drummer to play in Primus, playing with the band for around eight months in 1988 and later rejoining the band from 2010-2013. Lane was a member of San Francisco Bay Area bands The Uptones from '83-'85, and The Freaky Executives '84-'89
Lane began learning to play the drums at age nine, taking lessons with Bob Rose, and later Steve Savage, founder of Blue Bear School of Music in San Francisco. Lane continued to take lessons for 2 years. At Everett Jr. High School, his jazz band teacher and local tenor sax great Jerry Logas turned him on to Jazz/Fusion group Weather Report in '79 the 7th grade and that was it, music was going to be his choice. He and best buddy Ray Paul Carter took turns torturing their beloved jazz band teacher between classes. At sixteen years old, he took a summer sanitation job at Cazadero music camp in Russian River CA. in where he met the rest of his best lifetime friends to this day: future Ratdog/Charlie Hunter Trio/Uptones saxophonist Dave Ellis, future Spearhead guitarist Dave Shul, brothers Alcide and Andre Marshall ( sons of local jazz legend drummer Eddy Marshall ).[1] It was at this Summer music camp the decision to play music as a way of life was solidified for this tight group of friends. Some of the counselors at Cazadero Music and Arts Camp during that time ('80-'83) included Bobby McFerrin and Whoopi Goldberg, among other local jazz greats like John Handy, Eddy Marshall, Pete Escovedo, and the great Ed Kelly.

Erik Thomson (born 27 April 1967 in Inverness, Scotland, UK) is an actor known for playing Hades in the television series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Dr. Mitch Stevens in All Saints and Dave Rafter in Packed to the Rafters. He won an Australian Film Institute Award for his performance in the Australian feature film Somersault.
