Biography

Cheran is an Indian film director known for his works in Tamil cinema. He is a four time National Film Award winner for Vetri Kodi Kattu (2000), Autograph (2004) and Thavamai Thavamirundhu (2005). He has also won four Tamil Nadu State Film Awards and five South Filmfare Awards. In the film Puriyaadha Pudhir, he worked as an assistant director to Director K. S. Ravikumar. He was promoted as an associate director from Cheran Pandiyan to Nattamai. He also associated with Kamal Haasan in the movie Mahanadi as an associate director. He made his directorial debut in Bharathi Kannamma a break to his film career through Producer Henry. The film met many controversies. In spite of it, the film was a big box office hit and gave a break to the sinking career of actor Parthiban. With Porkkaalam, Pandavar Bhoomi, and Vetri Kodi Kattu, he gave a hat trick of successful films. He turned actor in director Thangar Bachan's film Solla Marandha Kadhai.

Naomi Ellen Watts (born September 28, 1968) is a British actress. Biography

Ahmed Best (born August 19, 1973) is an American voice actor and musician. He rose to prominence in the 2000s for playing the character of Jar Jar Binks in the Star Wars franchise. He later turned to television, where he reprised his role as Jar Jar Binks in the Robot Chicken Star Wars special. He also created, wrote, directed and produced his own TV show called This Can't Be My Life. He has collaborated with director George Lucas in three films and five episodes of the animated show, Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He has won the Annie Award for Best Voice Acting in an Animated Television Production.

Tab Thacker

Biography

Talmadge Layne "Tab" Thacker (March 10, 1962 – December 28, 2007) was an American wrestler and actor. Thacker was the NCAA Division I Wrestling heavyweight national champion in 1984 as a senior. He began his film career after Clint Eastwood noticed him in Time magazine and noted the 6-foot-4 and 450-pound (1.93 m, 204 kg) Thacker's size. Thacker went on to appear in several films including City Heat, Wildcats, two of the Police Academy films, and Identity Crisis. After leaving Hollywood, Thacker returned to Raleigh, North Carolina, where he opened a remodeling business and operated several nightclubs. He later became a bail bondsman. Thacker died from failing his health at the age 45 on December 28, 2007. He developed diabetes and had a foot amputated some years before he died.

Shawn Christian

Biography

Shawn Patrick Christian  (born December 18, 1965) is an American television and film actor. After graduating Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan in 1989, he moved to Chicago to pursue an acting career. He starred in numerous stage productions, and began appearing in commercials. He worked on stage with improvisational company Improv Olympic. In 1994, he was the first male spokesman on Star Search. He landed the role of Mike Kasnoff also in 1994 on As the World Turns. He starred on the show until 1997, moving to Los Angeles in the meantime. From 1998 through 1999 he also had a recurring role in The WB television series Charmed as Josh, the love interest of Piper Halliwell, played by Holly Marie Combs. He also landed the role of Johnny Durant on WB's Summerland. Although the show was a hit the first season, it failed to garner the same attention the second season. He acted with his stepdaughter, Taylor Cole. In February 2008 it was reported that he is cast as young doctor, and specialist Daniel Jonas on Days of our Lives. His first airdate was March 4, 2008. He married Deborah Quinn on May 18, 1996. Their son Kameron was born in June 2000. She began her professional career in Hong Kong, with starring roles in the action films Gen-Y Cops (2000) and Naked Weapon (2002), before appearing in the American productions Mission: Impossible III (2006), Live Free or Die Hard (2007), Priest (2011) and The Protégé (2021). Keisha Castle-Hughes (born 24 March 1990) is an Australian-born New Zealand film actress who rose to prominence at the age of eleven when playing Paikea "Pai" Apirana in the 2002 film Whale Rider. Julie Murray

Julie Murray is an Irish born artist, film and video maker living in the US. Drawing on her background in the Fine Arts, filmmaker Julie Murray makes short experimental works in digital and film media which are poetical in nature, engaging the textural imprints and limits of the form as an essential element of pictorial content. Her film and digital works have been exhibited at numerous national and international venues including the New York Film Festival, the Hong Kong International Film Festival, the International Film Festival Rotterdam, the London Film Festival and the Flaherty Film Seminar. Her work was featured in the 2004 edition of the Whitney Biennial and her films are part of the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the Whitney Museum of American Art. Her films are also contained in a number of University library collections in the US and are archived at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Film Archive in Los Angeles. Murray has presented her work at venues including REDCAT (Los Angeles), Anthology Film Archives (NY), Media City Film Festival (ON), Pacific Film Archives (CA), Los Angeles Filmforum, the San Francisco Cinematheque, Cinematheque Ontario in Toronto and at the Irish Film Institute, Dublin. Murray’s early super-8 films were selected for a National Film Preservation Foundation Award in 2014. She taught film production at University of Iowa in 2015-7 and will be a visiting artist at CalArts in Spring of 2019.
