María Valverde Rodríguez (born March 24, 1987) is a Spanish actress. She was born María Valverde Rodriguez in Carabanchel, Madrid. She was 16 when she got a leading role with Luis Tosar in a Manuel Martín Cuenca movie, La flaqueza del bolchevique, she won the 2003 Goya Award for this role. She has also taken part in several films, such as Melissa P., a film based on the polemic book One Hundred Strokes of the Brush Before Bed by Melissa Panarello. Lee Min-ho

Lee Min-ho (Hangul: 이민호; hanja: 李敏鎬, born June 22, 1987) is a South Korean actor, singer and model. Lee Min ho first gained widespread fame with Boys Over Flowers as Gu Jun-pyo in 2009. The role won him several awards, including the Best New Actor award in the category of television at the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards. He cemented his status as the leading-man with the success of future television shows: City Hunter (2011) — in which he was nominated for Most Popular Actor in the category of television at the 48th Baeksang Arts Awards as well as Outstanding Korean Actor at the 7th Seoul International Drama Awards — and The Heirs (2013), which garnered him another nomination for Most Popular Actor at the 50th Baeksang Arts Awards. The box office hit Gangnam Blues featured Lee in his first leading role in a film. Despite the release of two albums, My Everything (2013) and Song For You (2014), Lee has stated that his music are for his fans only and that he does not wish to pursue a singing career. Duncan Regehr (born October 5, 1952) is a Canadian multimedia artist and actor known for his commanding presence and versatility in film, television, and stage roles. He began his performing career as a champion figure skater and a classically trained Shakespearean stage actor in Canada before moving to Hollywood in 1980. Regehr is best known for his starring role as Don Diego De La Vega/Zorro in the Family Channel television series "Zorro" (1990–1993), as well as his appearances in shows like "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine". Beyond acting, Regehr is a highly accomplished painter with international exhibitions and has received honors such as the Royal Canadian Artist designation from the Royal Canadian Academy of Art in 2000, along with an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Victoria.

In 1987 he was hired by the Stockholm City Theatre where he was active until 1994. At the 29th Guldbagge Awards, he was nominated for the Best Actor award for his role in Sune's Summer. The most famous roles that Haber has played are the father Rudolf in the series Sune, Carl Hamilton in Fiendens fiende (Enemy's Enemy), and the title role in the long-running crime drama Beck, which he has portrayed since 1997. Kara Wai Ying-Hung (Chinese: 惠英紅, born 2 February 1960), also romanised as Kara Hui, is a Hong Kong actress of Manchu ethnicity. Known to the international audience for her kung-fu roles in Shaw Brothers Studio films in the 1970s and 1980s, Kara Wai has since portrayed a wide range of roles on screen and on television with much success. In 1982, she became the first recipient of the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actress. Her portrayal of a mother in the 2009 film At the End of Daybreak won her acting awards at the Hong Kong Film Awards, Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards, Changchun Film Festival, Pacific Meridian, Asian Film Awards and Golden Horse Awards.

Alki Zei

Biography

Alki Zei (Greek: Άλκη Ζέη) (December 15 – February 27, 2020) was a Greek novelist and children's writer. Zei was born in Athens. She studied in the philosophy school of Athens University, the Drama School of the Athens Odeion, and in the screenwriting department of the Moscow Cinema Institute. From 1954 to 1964 she lived in the Soviet Union as a political refugee. In 1964 she and her family returned to Greece, but they all left again when the junta seized power in 1967. That time she stayed in Paris, returning only after the dictatorship fell. Alki Zei took up writing very young. During her early years at junior high school she started writing plays for puppet theatre. Her first novel, The Tiger in the Shop Window (a.k.a. Wildcat Under Glass), (1963) was inspired by her childhood spent in Samos and is semi-autobiographical. This was followed by a series of books for children, and in 1987 by her first novel for adults, Achilles Fiancee . Her books have been translated into numerous languages. Her teenage novel Constantina and her spiders (a.k.a. Tina's Web) won the Greek IBBY prize for the best book for older children, and Alki Zei was nominated as a candidate for the 2004 Hans Christian Andersen Award for Writing and Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award for Literature. The Mildred L. Batchelder Award was granted for the translation to English and publishing in the United States of Wildcat Under Glass (1970), Petros' War (1974), and The Sound of the Dragon's Feet (1980).

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 - October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. On October 31, 2020, it was announced that Connery had died at the age of 90.

Stéphan Rizon (born February 24, 1987, in Agen, France) is a French singer who in 2012 won the inaugural season of The Voice: la plus belle voix, the French version of the international The Voice reality television series. Rizon auditioned to the series singing "Rolling in the Deep from Adele in the blind audition episode broadcast on 3 March 2012 and only one of the four judges, Florent Pagny, turned his chair within the last few seconds of the song, whereas all three other judges Jenifer Bartoli, Louis Bertignac and Garou failed to hit their "Je vous veux" ("I Want You") buttons and he was included in "Team Florent". In the battle stage, Garou put him against a Team Florent contestant Jua Amir with both singing "Kiss" from Prince. Pagny chose Rizon to go the next round. In the live shows, he sang "Over the Rainbow" and saved by the public by receiving the highest votes from Team Florent contestants, and in the semi-finals sang "With a Little Help from My Friends" from The Beatles and was saved by public vote and the coach with weights 100 for public vote and 50 for coach nomination. In the final he sang "Think" from Aretha Franklin, in addition to Lucio Dalla's "Caruso" as well as teaming up with Johnny Hallyday in a duo rendition of Hallyday's "Requiem pour un fou", and teaming up with his mentor coach Florent Pagny in "You Raise Me Up" to capture the title with 31.5% of the public vote against runner-up Louis Delort mentored by Garou with 29.9% of the vote, Al.Hy coached by Jenifer Bartoli third with 24.1%. Finalist Aude Henneville from Louis Bertignac Team finished fourth with just 14.5% of the public vote. Rizon went on to sign a record deal with Mercury Music Group / Universal Music and his debut album released in October 2012 is entitled From Mars with Love.
