Paul Hagen

Biography

Paul Hagen was one the most famous Danish actors after the Second World War. He was born on 19th of March 1920 in Copenhagen. His father was painter named Åge Falck Rasmussen, his mother was an opera singer named Anna Hagen. Hagen was accepted into Frederiksberg's theatre school in 1944. He finished his education as an actor in 1945. He had his debut as an actor in 1944 in the play "Livet er jo dejligt" on "Riddersalen" in Copenhagen. He then worked at Aarhus theatre (until 1951). In 1953 he got famous for a song he made for "Fiffer Revyen". The song where entitled: "Lille Lise let-på-tråd". He worked in various theatres throughout the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. He finally said goodbye to theatre in 1998. Hagen had his debut in film in 1952, with the film: "Kærlighedsdoktoren". Hagen subsequently worked in 118 movies, plus TV series. In 1961 he worked with Preben Kaas, in "To skøre ho'der", were both of them wrote, produced, directed and acted in. In movies he frequently played a friend of the hero or a bright sidekick. Hagen had much success in the Danish film-series: "Støver-filmene", "Soldaterkammerater-filmene" and "Sengekants-filmene". Other notable appearances in film are: Bussen (1963), Hvis lille pige er du? (1963), Martha (1967), Ballade på Christianshavn (1971), Olsen-banden på sporet (1975) and Walter og Carlo - op på fars hat (1985). He married twice; first time with actress Asta Esper Hagen Andersen, with whom he had a son - Esper Hagen, who later also became an actor. He later married a woman named Alice Martens. On TV Hagen got very famous, throughout Denmark, with his role as the animal shop-clerk Clausen, in the very famous Danish TV series "Huset på Christianshavn" (1970). Hagen also acted in "Krummernes Jul" (1996). He died on the 20th of May 2003 and is buried in the cemetery: Langø Kirkegård, on Lolland.

Paul McGillion

Biography

The sixth of seven children, Paul's family emigrated to Canada from Paisley, Scotland when he was just 2 years old. He returned to Scotland during his early teens for a few years before heading back to Canada . Paul has a degree in Teaching and while studying at University, got involved in various sports including wrestling. After graduating the actor began his career teaching theatre in Toronto, squeezing in time to attend auditions, finally making the move to Vancouver. B. Lenin

Biography

B. Lenin is an editor, writer and director who has worked in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi films. He is the son of A. Bhimsingh, a Tamil film maker. Lenin entered the film industry as an assistant editor and went on to work in numerous projects before becoming an independent editor. He made his debut as a full-fledged editor through J. Mahendran's Uthiripookkal in 1979. After a few films, Lenin started working with his long-time assistant V. T. Vijayan and the duo has so far worked in over hundred films in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi films apart from an English film, Eli My Friend. As of 2013, Lenin has won five National Film Awards including the awards for Best Direction and Best Editing. He was the chairman of the Film Federation of India of India in 2011.

Angelina Peláez

Biography

Teacher Angelina Peláez is a graduate of INBA, with subsequent studies of Spanish Literature at UNAM. It was perfected with the teacher Héctor Mendoza. Since 1976 she has worked as a teacher at the Centro Universitario de Teatro (CUT), she also teaches at the CEA of Televisa and at the National School of Theater Art of INBA. With a career of 42 years, Angelina has participated in films such as Between Pancho Villa and a naked woman, Man on fire, Mezcal, The same moon and Five days without Nora. For the latter, she won the Ariel Award for Best Female Co-Acting.

Fil Ieropoulos

Biography

Fil Ieropoulos is a director of queer experimental films. He was born in Athens, Greece in 1978, studied film and cultural studies in the UK and in 2010 he completed his PhD with a specialisation in film poetry at the University of Kent. Since 2003 he has been a Senior Lecturer at Buckinghamshire New University. He has participated in festivals, exhibitions and conferences in Greece, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, the US, working with the Greek National Opera, Athens & Epidaurus Festival, Neuköllner Oper, Athens Biennale, the Onassis Institute, Freud Museum, the Athens School of Fine Arts etc. His film ORFEAS2021, a queer adaptation of Claudio Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo, was nominated at the Hellenic Film Awards.

Kathy Bates

Kathleen Doyle Bates (born June 28, 1948) is an American actress and director. She has been the recipient of numerous accolades, including an Academy Award, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and two Golden Globe Awards. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, she studied theatre at the Southern Methodist University before moving to New York City to pursue an acting career. She landed minor stage roles before being cast in her first on screen role in Taking Off (1971). Her first Off-Broadway stage performance was in the 1976 production of Vanities. Throughout the 1970s and early 1980s, she continued to perform on screen and on stage, and garnered a Tony Award nomination for Best Lead Actress in a Play in 1983 for her performance in 'night, Mother, and won an Obie Award in 1988 for her performance in Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune. Bates' performance as Annie Wilkes in the tense psychological thriller Misery (1990) marked her Hollywood breakthrough, winning her the Academy Award for Best Actress. Bates received subsequent Oscar nods in the Best Supporting Actress category for her work in Primary Colors (1998), About Schmidt (2002), and Richard Jewell (2019). Jane McGregor

Biography

Jane McGregor is a Canadian actress, best known for her roles in Flower & Garnet (2002), Slap Her, She's French! (2002), and That Beautiful Somewhere (2006), as well as her recurring role on the CTV series Robson Arms (2005). McGregor's career began with classes at the Vancouver Youth Theatre at the age of eight, which were followed by toy commercials. Her first television series appearance was a guest role on two episodes of the Canadian classic The Odyssey (1992). Following this she appeared in a string of made-for-television movies. In 2000 she landed a lead in the MTV series Live Through This (2000), followed by the multi-Emmy Award-winning TV Movie Bang Bang You're Dead (2002). In 2002 she starred in the American comedy Slap Her, She's French! (2002). She played Starla Grady, a popular Texas cheerleader, opposite Piper Perabo and Micheal McKean. In 2007 she appeared in American Venus (2007) as Jenna Lane, a competitive ice skater hovering on the brink of a mental breakdown due to her controlling mother (portrayed by Rebecca De Mornay). Sean Connery

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 - October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. On October 31, 2020, it was announced that Connery had died at the age of 90.

Kiff VandenHeuvel

Biography

Kiff VandenHeuvel is originally from Grand Rapids, MI and is an alumni of The Second City comedy theatre. Kiff is an accomplished improviser and sketch comedy director, and he teaches voiceover, improv and directing at Second City Hollywood. Kiff has appeared in hundreds of TV and radio commercials and is well known in the video game community as the voice of Zachary Hale Comstock in Bioshock: Infinite, Walter in The Walking Dead video game series, Disney Infinity, Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition, and most recently in The Evil Within. Kiff also performs with the very popular "That Voiceover Improv Thing" Podcast and forthcoming live show at the LA Improv.

Dana Morávková (* July 29, 1971 Písek) is a Czech actress, presenter, choreographer and former figure skater. She was born in 1971 in Písek in southern Bohemia into a family of mathematicians and economics engineers. He is an only child. Her father died when she was fifteen, and she was left alone with her mother. As a child, she studied ballet, gymnastics and figure skating. She is a two-time junior champion of the republic in figure skating - ice dancing. From 1989 to 1993 she studied acting at DAMU (where she obtained the title of MgA.) And immediately afterwards choreography at HAMU (where she obtained the second title of MgA.), Which she completed in 1998.
