Roch Voisine

Joseph Armand Roch Voisine (born 26 March 1963) is a Canadian singer-songwriter, actor, and radio and television host who lives in Montreal and Paris. He writes and performs material in both English and French. He won the Juno Award for Male Vocalist of the Year in 1994. In 1997 he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada.
Born in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada, he grew up in Saint-Basile, New Brunswick and later moved to Notre-Dame-du-Lac, Quebec when he was 12.
Voisine studied at École technique des métiers de Lauzon in Lévis (today Guillaume-Couture Secondary School) and at Polyvalente de Lévis (today École Pointe-Lévy). Then he continued for 4 years at Cégep Limoilou. He attended the University of Ottawa where he graduated in 1985 with a degree in physiotherapy and played 4 seasons with the uOttawa Gee-Gees men's hockey team.
Voisine aspired to be a professional ice hockey player. He had to set his plans aside when he was severely injured while playing baseball in 1981.
In the summer of 1986, he had his music debut when he sang on Canada Day (1 July) in front of 50,000 people at la Ronde amusement park in Montreal. He also worked as presenter of music videos on Top Jeunesse on the TQS (Télévision Quatre-Saisons) private French Quebec channel. In 1989, he appeared as Dany Ross in the CBC Television series Lance et Compte (He Shoots, He Scores).
Voisine's musical breakthrough came with his 1989 album Hélène which sold three million copies and became a major hit not only in Quebec but also in France, Belgium and Switzerland. In 1990, Hélène was awarded the Best Album prize at the Victoires de la Musique. He capitalized on his big success by releasing a bilingual French/English album Double with one CD containing all-French songs, the other all-English songs trying to position himself in both francophone and anglophone markets.
After a highly successful European Tour in 1991, he was awarded France's Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, becoming the youngest artist to receive it at age 28. His second European tour culminated on 17 April 1992 at Champ-de-Mars in Paris where he sang in front of 75,000 people. The show was broadcast live on TF1 and reached 14 million viewers.
In 1993, Voisine had his biggest English-language hit to date with the single and album both entitled I'll Always Be There, on which he worked with David Foster. The single reached number four on the Canadian music charts while the album reached number seven. Also in 1993, his wax statue was launched in Musée Grévin in Paris. In 2004, he had a huge success with the traditional song "Jean Johnny Jean" written by Gildas Arzel. The song appeared in Voisine's album Coup de tête.
Over the years, he has continued alternating between recording both French and English-language albums. His French language work and concert tours have continued to enjoy success in Europe (especially France) and Quebec, while his English-language recordings are a frequent mainstay of Canadian adult contemporary radio. He also enjoys huge success internationally.
In 2006, he took part alongside other musicians[2] in L'Or de nos vies in a formation named Fight Aids singing a song composed by Kyo. Revenues went to Fight Aids Monaco. ...

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer. He won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000).
Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama.

Shah Rukh Khan, widely known as SRK, "King Khan," and the "King of Bollywood," is an Indian actor, film producer, entrepreneur, television personality, philanthropist, and one of the most influential figures in world cinema. He is widely regarded as one of the most internationally recognized and commercially successful actors in the history of Indian cinema.
Born in New Delhi, India, Khan studied at Hansraj College, University of Delhi, received theatre training under Barry John, and later pursued Mass Communication at Jamia Millia Islamia. During his college years, he actively participated in stage productions, laying the foundation for his acting career. He made his television acting debut with *Fauji* (1988), followed by *Circus* (1989). Following the deaths of his father in 1980 and his mother in 1991, Khan relocated to Mumbai to pursue acting professionally.
Khan's first signed feature film was *Dil Aashna Hai* (1992), directed by Hema Malini. However, *Deewana* (1992) was released first and is officially recognized as his theatrical film debut. His performance earned the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut, launching one of the most successful careers in Indian cinema. Helen Gilmore

Helen Gilmore (born Antoinette A. Field, c. 1872 – April 1936) was an American actress of the stage and silent motion pictures from Louisville, Kentucky. She appeared in over 140 films between 1913 and 1932.
In approximately 1872, Gilmore was born to Richard Field and Mary Cilia Daniels. In 1894, she toured with comic actor Stuart Robson's company, even substituting, on at least one occasion, for Mrs. Robson—the temporarily unavailable May Waldron—in the role of Adriana in Shakespeare's A Comedy of Errors. It was during that tour that Gilmore met and married fellow cast member (and fellow Kentuckian), Joseph B. Zahner, hurriedly tying the knot at New York's City Hall on Friday, July 13. Scarcely five years later, Zahner, then 33, suffered a fatal heart attack.
Between 1910 and 1913, Gilmore appeared on Broadway in 4 musical revues: Deems Taylor's The Echo, Manuel Klein's Around the World and Under Many Flags (both at the New York Hippodrome), and Oscar Straus's My Little Friend. Shortly thereafter, she made her screen debut in A Female Fagin.
As Mrs. Hobbs in A Petticoat Pilot (1918), Gilmore was commended for her careful character study. The Paramount Pictures film was directed by Rollin S. Sturgeon and was based on the novel by Evelyn Lincoln. She played the head nurse in Too Much Business (1922). This was a comedy which originated with a Saturday Evening Post story by Earl Derr Biggers. In it Gilmore was cast with Elsa Lorimer and Mack Fenton. Her final motion picture credit is for the role of a motorist in the Laurel and Hardy short Two Tars (1928).

Mary Therese Cadorette (born March 31, 1957) is an American actress best known for playing Jack Tripper's live-in girlfriend, flight attendant Vicky Bradford, on the short-lived 1984 Three's Company spin-off Three's a Crowd.
Cadorette was born in East Hartford, Connecticut. She started taking dance classes when she was five years old and later entered dance competitions. She gives credit to her love of dance for her career milestones. She was Miss Connecticut in the 1975 Miss America pageant. She graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1979, after which she performed in dinner theatres and with the United Service Organizations (USO). She also spent three and a half years on Broadway as an understudy in the musical 42nd Street. In 1990, she landed the recurring guest role of Margaret Turner on Night Court. She owned her own restaurant in Los Angeles in the 1990s, Mary's Lamb, that was frequented by many celebrities.
Mary has been in a few films, Stewardess School, and The Rat Pack among them. During the 1980s, she was also seen on a number of game shows, including The $25,000 Pyramid, Super Password, and Body Language.
In 1999, she left California and moved back home to Connecticut to take care of her mother who had suffered a stroke. Her mother died eight years later. She and two friends, whom she had known since they were in dance school as children, decided to take up dancing again after many years. They formed the "The Chapeau Rouge Dance Project" encouraging former (and older) dance students to attend classes in the dance studio that they have rented.
She was married to Michael Eisen in 1982. Later, she married William Harris (born 16 March 1948 - 15 October 2010), taking the newly-married name Mary Cadorette-Harris.
In March 2011, she directed and choreographed Hairspray at Glastonbury High School in Glastonbury, Connecticut. In March of 2012 she directed 42nd Street at Glastonbury High School with some of the original choreography.
She now teaches at Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts Tap and Ensemble Class in Hartford, Connecticut.

Elizabeth Hadly
Biography
Elizabeth Hadly (born 1958) is a professor in the Department of Biology at Stanford University, and holds the Paul S. and Billie Achilles Chair of Environmental Science. Her research interests include links between ecology and evolution, and understanding of the impacts of the Anthropocene.
Hadly studied anthropology at University of Colorado Boulder. She then studied for a masters in quaternary science at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. Her PhD research in integrative biology was awarded by the University of California, Berkeley.
In September 2016, Hadly became faculty director for the Stanford Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve. Since 2018, she has also been a professor at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
Hadly has numerous published scholarly papers. With Anthony Barnosky and others, she co-authored a 2012 Nature paper on climatic 'tipping points' and is also co-author, with Barnosky, of Tipping Point for Planet Earth, How Close Are We to the Edge? (2016). She and Barnosky appeared in the 2015 documentary film, Tomorrow.
