Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 - October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. On October 31, 2020, it was announced that Connery had died at the age of 90.

Christopher Bradley

Biography

Christopher Bradley was born one of eight children and raised in the New Mexico desert. His father was a college professor and his mother was a registered nurse. He moved to Ft. Worth, Texas at age 18 when he was offered a scholarship to Texas Christian University, from which he graduated with a BFA in theatre. While continuing his film work, he completed his MFA in Screenwriting at UCLA, where he also completed most of the credits for an animation degree. In addition to acting, Christopher teaches screenwriting online for the UCLA Professional Program.

Biography

Jack Innanen is a Canadian comedian and actor. He was raised in Cambridge, Ontario, where he attended Galt Collegiate Institute. He first came to prominence for creating viral TikTok videos, which earned him more than three million followers on the platform, which became a full-time job in 2022. He later moved to New York to pursue an acting career. He had his first television role on Canadian sketch comedy series The Dessert. He also appeared in Crave comedy series The Office Movers in 2024. He portrays Paul Baker in FX comedy series Adults (originally developed under the name Snowflakes), created by The Tonight Show writers Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw, and executive produced by Nick Kroll, about five housemates in Queens, New York, but filmed in Toronto. His character, Paul Baker, was initially conceived as from Colorado but was rewritten as Canadian. It was only the second show he had auditioned for after moving to the United States. In August 2025, he was announced as part of Netflix comedy series Big Mistakes.

He starred as Ryan in the Academy Award®-qualifying short film Ryan Can't Read, which he also co-wrote, produced by Academy Award®-winning Slick Films. Joanna Shimkus

Joanna Marie Shimkus (born 30 October 1943) is a Canadian film actress. She is the widow of actor Sidney Poitier and mother of actress Sydney Tamiia Poitier. Joanna Marie Shimkus was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, to Joseph Shimkus, a Jewish father of Lithuanian descent, and Marie Petrie, a Roman Catholic of Irish descent. Her father worked for the Royal Canadian Navy. She attended a convent school and was brought up in Montreal. She made her debut in 1964 in Jean Aurel's film De l'amour. (She was first featured in Jean-Luc Godard's short "Montparnasse-Levallois," his contribution to the anthology film Six in Paris; it was shot in December 1963, but the film was not released until 1965.) She was then noticed by film director Robert Enrico, who selected her to appear in three of his films; Les aventuriers (1967), opposite Alain Delon and Lino Ventura, Tante Zita (1968), and Ho! (1968). She appeared in Joseph Losey's film Boom! (1968), opposite Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, and The Lost Man (1969), opposite Sidney Poitier. Her film career continued until the early 1970s, including roles in L'Invitée (1969), The Virgin and the Gypsy (1970), The Marriage of a Young Stockbroker (1971), and A Time for Loving (1972). Shimkus married Sidney Poitier in 1976, and they have two daughters: Anika and Sydney Tamiia, who is also an actress. Shimkus has three grandchildren; two from Anika and one from Sydney Tamiia. Casey created an IMAX film called 'Tornado Alley' about chasing tornadoes and had to build the Tornado Intercept Vehicle (TIV) and the Tornado Intercept Vehicle 2 (TIV2) to film inside a tornado. Brandon Bruce Lee, born February 1, 1965, in Oakland, California, was an American actor and martial artist who tragically died young during his ascent to stardom. Son of the legendary martial artist and actor Bruce Lee, Brandon inherited his father's athletic prowess and later followed him into the world of entertainment. Lee's early life was split between California and Hong Kong. After his father's sudden death in 1973 when Brandon was just eight, he moved to Seattle with his mother and sister. Despite initial challenges as a teenager, Lee's interest in acting grew. He honed his craft at prestigious institutions like Emerson College and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
