Biography

Rich Hardisty is a working class writer and performer who hails from Yorkshire. He has developed shows with Channel 4, VAL, Baby Cow and Eleven pictures. He has also starred in shows for BBC, C4 and NETFLIX. Rich recently came back off a UK national tour with his debut show “SILLY BOY” about his journey with Bipolar disorder. The show started life in his flat after a manic depressive episode…but went on to perform sell out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, Soho Theatre and Dynasty Typewriter L.A. Rich’s main theme in all of his work is compassion. He gives talks and public speeches where he makes a case for applying the methods he used to help heal himself in treatment centres, to the way we should treat people we disagree with in the culture wars. He has spoken at ID8 (8 minute ideas to change the world), having been invited byTEDX founder Chris Anderson. And in 2023 he was flown to Oslo and Tuscany to talk at the esteemed ALPINE FELLOWSHIP alongside thought leaders Yuval Noah Harari , Ayishat Akimbe and Esther Perel.

'The New Boy' is Aswan’s first acting role. He was born in Alice Springs in the centre of Australia and has lived most of his life there. His family is from Warakurna and Kiwirrkurra Aboriginal communities, in Central and Western Australia. Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 - October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). When she arrived in her homeland in 1997 for the first time since she'd left in 1981, Ethiopian-born and Washington, D.C.-based songstress Aster Aweke was greeted by thousands of loyal followers awaiting her plane. During the month-long tour that followed, Aweke performed before more than 80,000 people and showed that she remains one of Ethiopia's best-loved performers. Aweke has been equally successful throughout the world. Her second album, Kabu, spent four weeks in the top position on the CMJ New Music Charts, and was in the Top Ten of Billboard's World Music Charts for ten weeks in 1990. A native of Gandor, a small town near Lake Tara, Aweke was raised in the capital city of Addis Ababa. The daughter of senior civil servant in the Imperial government, Aweke was determined to become a musician by the age of 13. By her late teens, she was singing in Addis Ababa clubs and hotels with such bands as the Continental Band, Hotel D'Afrique Band, Shebele Band, and the Ibex Band (before they became the internationally known Roha Band). Launching a solo career, Aweke was encouraged by musical entrepreneur Ali Tango, who financed and released five cassettes and two singles of her music. By 1981, Aweke had become disillusioned by Ethiopia's oppressive political climate and relocated to the United States. Suleka Mathew

Suleka "Sue" Mathew is a Canadian actress, known for her portrayal of Dr. Sunita Ramen on the Canadian television series Da Vinci's Inquest. She was born in India and raised in Vancouver, Canada, since the age of two. Her most recent work was in Men in Trees playing the character Sara Jackson. She was playing a nurse named Bobbie Jackson in the TNT series Hawthorne, which began in 2009. After three successful seasons the show will not be returning for a fourth. She currently plays Dina Tomlin on the U.S. TV series, Red Widow. Television audiences know Mathew for her role as Dr. Sunita "Sunny" Ramen on the acclaimed and award-winning Canadian dramatic series, "Da Vinci's Inquest." She earned three Leo Award nominations for Best Actress for her role. An international hit, the series recently made its syndicated debut in the United States. Mathew also had a recurring role, on the Emmy Award-winning "The West Wing," as well as Stephen King's "Dead Zone," and co-starred in Hallmark Entertainment's sci-fi miniseries "Final Days of the Planet Earth." In addition she has appeared on such series as "The X-Files," "Stargate SG-1," "The Crow," "Highlander" and "MacGyver." Her feature film credits include a starring role in the Sundance Festival hit, "Touch of Pink," directed by Ian Iqbal Rashid. Anne Schäfer, born in 1979 in Munich, is studying acting at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Zurich. After her first roles at the Schauspielhaus Zürich in 2005, she receives a permanent engagement at the Landestheater Tübingen. Here she plays, among other things, the title role in Goethe's "Iphigenia on Tauris". In 2006/2007 Schäfer is a guest actress at the Theater Basel. Since 2008 she belongs to the permanent ensemble of the Bavarian State Theater in Munich. In 2009 she is awarded the Kurt Meisel Prize, the sponsorship award from the Association of Friends of the Bavarian State Theater. Anne Schäfer plays her first movie role in the melancholic comedy "Cindy does not love me" in 2010 as a young woman who is leading two romantic relationships at the same time. After that, she has guest appearances in various television series in addition to her numerous stage roles, such as in "The Mountain Doctor" or "SOKO 5113". Shepherd then plays another role in the movie "Jasmine": under the direction of Jan Fehse, she embodies a woman who has killed her own child. For this achievement she is nominated for the Förderpreis Deutscher Film at the Munich Filmfest 2011. In spite of this success, Schäfer mainly participated in television productions in the next few years, such as in single episodes of "SOKO München" and "Der Alte". Directed by Dominik Graf, she portrayed German author Charlotte von Kalb in the feature film "The Beloved Sisters" (DE / AT 2012-2014). David Ryan Adams (born November 5, 1974) is an American rock and country singer-songwriter. He has released 29 studio albums and three as a former member of Whiskeytown. In 2000, Adams left Whiskeytown and released his debut solo album, Heartbreaker, to critical acclaim. The album was nominated for the Shortlist Music Prize. The following year, his profile increased with the release of the UK certified-gold Gold, which included the single "New York, New York". During this time, Adams worked on several unreleased albums, which were consolidated into a third solo release, Demolition (2002). Working at a prolific rate, Adams released the classic rock-influenced Rock N Roll (2003), after a planned album, Love Is Hell, was rejected by his label Lost Highway. As a compromise, Love Is Hell was released as two EPs and eventually released in its full-length state in 2004.
