Hideaki Anno

Biography

Hideaki Anno (born May 22, 1960 in Ube, Yamaguchi) is a Japanese animation and film director. Anno is best known for his work on the popular anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. His style has come to be defined by the touches of superflatism and postmodernism that he injects into his work, as well as the thorough portrayal of characters' thoughts and emotions, often through unconventional sequences incorporating psychoanalysis and emotional deconstruction of these characters. He married comics artist Moyoco Anno in 27 April 2002. Anime directed by Anno that have won the Animage Anime Grand Prix award have been Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water in 1990, Neon Genesis Evangelion in 1995 and 1996, and The End of Evangelion in 1997. Claudie Blakley

Biography

Claudie Blakley (born 4 January 1974) is an English actress. She trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama. In 1998, she won the Ian Charleson Award for her performance in The Seagull at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds. She is best known for her role as Emma Timmins in the BBC drama series Lark Rise to Candleford. Other notable roles include Mabel Nesbitt in Robert Altman's Oscar-winning Gosford Park and Charlotte Lucas in Joe Wright's 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice. In the autumn of 2007, she was seen in the BBC serial Cranford as Martha. In 2010, Blakley played the role of Cynthia Lennon in the BBC television production of Lennon Naked, a drama based on the period in the life of John Lennon from the years 1964 to 1971. In 2013, she appeared in the premiere of the play Chimerica.

Elliot McCoy (born June 8th, 2009) is a nonbinary film director, writer, editor, and actor based in Washington State. They are known for their directing roles in the NWHSFF award-winning film "05:00:00", remastering "First Day" every summer, and creating the gut-wrenching stories of "Dear Big Brother" and "Maybe I". Elliot started small in middle school, shooting short films in his backyard while being directed by their cousin, Derrick Zigan. They would join video production in high school and enjoy every aspect in class, eventually making it to the advanced class. Now they direct their own films, utilizing a large crew and range of actors organized under Nonder & Belliot Productions, which they co-own alongside Jordan May-Roman.

Jackie Lou Blanco

Jacqueline Lourdes Corrales Blanco-Davao (born February 11, 1964) is a Filipino actress and aerobic instructor. During the 1980s and the 1990s, she appeared in different film genres including Hihintayin Kita sa Langit, (1991), Si Aida, Si Lorna, o Si Fe, (1989) Misis Mo, Misis Ko, (1988) and Palabra de Honor (1983). Blanco co-hosted the noontime show Student Canteen on GMA Network from 1982 until the show's cancellation in 1986. She was also a regular fixture on the Sunday musical extravaganza GMA Supershow on the same network. In 1999, she became a household name when she played the main antagonist in the ABS-CBN primetime drama series Saan Ka Man Naroroon. Her television appearances include a regular co-hosting stint in Walang Tulugan from 2008 to 2016, and the sitcom Vampire ang Daddy Ko, where she and her mother Pilita Corrales alternated for the role of Sonya Ventura as the older/younger versions. In June 2007, she enrolled in the Associate of Arts program of the University of the Philippines, Open University. Blanco wrote a column in The Philippine Star newspaper. Since the 2000s, she has remained frequent with GMA-7 in afternoon and primetime dramas.

Rebecca Atkinson (born 22 September 1983) is an English actress, known for portraying Karen Maguire in Shameless from 2004 until 2013 Atkinson studied theatre and dance at Preston College Before her television appearances, Atkinson attended the David Johnson Drama and taught dancing in Goostrey for the Glenda Ann School of Dancing. In 2004, Atkinson began playing Karen Maguire in Channel 4's popular comedy drama series, Shameless, and appeared in all 11 series. She has also appeared in Life On Mars, Ideal and BBC Three sitcom Trexx and Flipside. In October 2016, Atkinson joined the cast of BBC Scotland soap opera, River City, as Belinda Roberts. She has had minor parts in many shows, including playing Asia in four episodes of BBC comedy series Ideal, and two episodes of New Street Law, where she played a character named Susie Hardwick. She appeared in Heartbeat in 2002 and 2006 playing two different characters. She has also had single appearances in Life on Mars, Holby City, The Bill, Coronation Street, Doctors and The Royal. She appeared in Children's Ward. She also appeared in the film adaptation of Kevin Sampson's Awaydays, released in 2009. She has now had a role in Wait For Me (2023) playing Lisa.

John Lasseter

Biography

John Alan Lasseter is an American film director, producer, screenwriter, animator, voice actor, and the head of animation at Skydance Animation. He was previously the chief creative officer of Pixar Animation Studios, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and Disneytoon Studios, as well as the Principal Creative Advisor for Walt Disney Imagineering. Lasseter's first job was with The Walt Disney Company, where he became an animator. Next, he joined Lucasfilm, where he worked on the then-groundbreaking use of CGI animation. After Lucasfilm became Pixar in 1986, Lasseter oversaw all of Pixar's films and associated projects as executive producer and he directed Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Cars, "Toy Story 3" and "Cars 2". He has won two Academy Awards, for Animated Short Film (Tin Toy), as well as a Special Achievement Award (Toy Story).

Alonso Ruizpalacios (born 1978) is a Mexican film director. He was born and raised in Mexico City. He studied stage directing in Mexico City, before moving to London where he trained as an actor at RADA. Ruizpalacios writes and directs for both stage and screen. His short film Café Paraíso won multiple awards on the film festival circuit. His debut feature Gueros, shot in black and white, was lauded by critics and won five Ariel Awards in 2015, including Best Picture, Best First Film and Best Director. Ruizpalacios also directed the music video for "Hasta la Raíz" by Mexican singer-songwriter Natalia Lafourcade. He recently directed the movie Museo, starring Gael García Bernal. The film won the best script award at the Berlin International Film Festival. Museum has also been present in other international festivals. The film tells the story of the famous robbery to the National Museo of Anthropology on December 25, 1985, in Mexico City. Vishwaksen Naidu is an Indian film actor and director who primarily works in Telugu cinema. His real name is Dinesh Naidu but later changed his name to Vishwaksen Naidu. Vishwak made his debut through Vellipomakey. He was born and brought up in Hyderabad and made his schooling at Mother Theresa School. Vishwak studied Journalism Degree followed by Theater Arts in Mumbai. Vishwak then appeared in Tharun Bhaskar Daashyam's Ee Nagaraniki Emayyind. Later on Vishwak made his directional debut through Malayalam superhit movie Angamaly Diaries remake in Telugu as Falaknuma Das.
