"Traslados" is a compelling documentary that investigates the notorious "Death Flights" conducted during Argentina's last civic-military dictatorship (1976-1983). Through powerful testimonies from former detainees, victims' families, and experts, along with archival footage, animations, and emotional recreations, the film pieces together the intricate puzzle of evidence that confirms the regime's brutal methods of murder and forced disappearance. Key moments featured include the discovery of the body of French nun Leonnie Duquet, the infiltration of military officer Alfredo Astiz into the Madres de Plaza de Mayo group, and an interview with Nobel Peace Prize laureate Adolfo Pérez Esquivel. The documentary also highlights the significant event of a plane used in the "Death Flights" returning to Argentina in 2023, serving as a poignant reminder of this dark chapter in history.

The documentary reveals the narcotic effect the '78 World Cup had on Argentine society, when Kempes' goals masked the horrors of the dictatorship. Recalling the attitudes of Adolf Hitler at the 1936 Berlin Olympics and Benito Mussolini during the 1934 World Cup in Italy, the film argues that the 1978 World Cup was "one of the most blatant political exploitations in the history of sport." Through previously unseen testimonies, survivors' accounts, and previously unreleased archival footage, the film portrays the contradictory duality between the euphoria of a people passionate about football and the simultaneous horror suffered by the victims of a bloody dictatorship.

Actually, she does not even think of herself as a dissident. She received her three terms in prisons and labour camps – fourteen years in all – as punishment not for underground struggle but for daring to remain true to her principles, convictions and faith. The ideals Lidija obtained as a child – the idyllic image of Latvia as an independent country, strong family values and faith in God as a moral measuring stick for any action. Her eyes are bright even today, at the age of 91, and they look at this world full of life.

Louis Prima, between song numbers, tells how he happened to get a job in a Hollywood cafe playing music while a couple, unrelated to anything else, play a slot machine in the background. This short was reissued in 1944 and again in 1952. Lucille Ball has a bit part. Yoshisuke grew up in a small town and his father ran a paper lantern shop. The town itself has beautiful scenery, but Yoshisuke is bored. One day, he goes to a prostitution shop and meets Mizusa. She tells him that she is an alien. They meet each other continually and Yoshisuke asks Mizusa why she works as a prostitute. Mizusa tells him that she stops working as a prostitute, the world will go out of existence.
