Frances Dade

Frances Dade, also known early in her career as Lorelei Lee (February 14, 1910 – January 21, 1968), was an American film actress of the late 1920s and 1930s.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dade moved to Hollywood, California in the late 1920s to pursue an acting career. She first caught the attention of Samuel Goldwyn as a member of the touring company of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. He gave her a contract though she later went freelance. Her first film role was in 1928, when she had an uncredited role alongside stars Dorothy Boyd and Mabel Poulton in The Constant Nymph. In 1930 she appeared in four films, including Grumpy.
In 1931 Dade was cast in the biggest role of her career, Lucy Weston in Dracula, which starred Bela Lugosi and Helen Chandler. The scene with Bela Lugosi hovering over her prostrate body remains an indelible part of pop culture. That role would catapult her to brief notoriety, and would result in her being selected one of thirteen WAMPAS Baby Stars, including Marian Marsh, Karen Morley, and Marion Shilling, that same year.
Despite her performance in Dracula, Dade's film role offers dwindled. She starred in six films in 1931, three of which were horror films.
In 1932, she was featured in only one film, Big Town, and she appeared on Broadway in the play Collision. Shortly thereafter, she retired from acting and married wealthy socialite Brock Van Avery. She eventually moved back home to Philadelphia, and went into nursing. She died there in 1968 at the age of 57.

Arthur Lubin

Arthur Lubin (July 25, 1898 – May 12, 1995) was an American film director and producer who directed several Abbott & Costello films and created the TV series Mr. Ed.
Arthur Lubin was born Arthur William Lubovsky in Los Angeles, California in 1898. Lubin created his own film and music studio, Lubin Studios, in the 1920s, where he acted in silent films in the later half of the decade. Lubin directed the Abbott and Costello movies Buck Privates (1941), In the Navy (1941), Hold That Ghost (1941), Keep 'Em Flying (1942) and Ride 'Em Cowboy (1942). His most successful film at the box office was probably Phantom of the Opera (1943). Another may be Rhubarb (1951) about a cat that inherits a baseball team by proxy.
Lubin also directed the "Francis the Talking Mule" series and brought the idea to TV as the series Mr. Ed. He was the first producer to give a contract to Clint Eastwood. Lubin also directed episodic TV shows like Bronco (1958), Maverick (1959), Bonanza (1960), Mister Ed (1961) and The Addams Family (1965). Lubin's last work was the TV series called Little Lulu (1978).
Lubin's career ended in the late 1970s, and he lived the rest of his life with his life partner Frank Burford[citation needed] and died in Glendale, California of an unspecified cause on May 12, 1995 at age 96.

Josef Altin
Biography
Josef Altin (born in London) is a British TV series and movie actor. Altin had small roles in various TV shows and movies including The Bill, Peep Show and Babyfather. He starred in DC Moore's hit play The Empire at the Royal Court Theatre in London.
Altin was born in London, to a Turkish family. His first appearance in a television series was his role as Garry in the drama series Psychos. His first appearance on a major British television series came in 2004 when he played a machine strimmer in Blackpool. Over the years, Altin has appeared on The Bill several times in different roles; from 2006 to 2007 he played Jay Henderson, and in 2009 he played Peter Balmaine. After his appearance on The Bill he became a somewhat sought after actor and received many more roles over the coming years, performing in both television series and films multiple times a year.
In 2007, Altin appeared in two films, the first of which being Boy A, where he played Bully, and what is perhaps the biggest budget film he has starred in, Eastern Promises, where he played Ekrem.
He has also appeared in other big television series including Peep Show, Doctors, Robin Hood, Casualty, Little Miss Jocelyn, New Tricks, Being Human, Misfits and Law & Order: UK. Top boy
Altin also played the role of Pypar, commonly called Pyp, in the HBO fantasy TV series Game of Thrones.
2015 saw Altin starring in two films Narcopolis and Child 44. In 2016, Altin starred in the short film, 'I Dream of Zombies'.
On television, in 2017 Altin appeared in the E4 sitcom Chewing Gum as Ryan, and portrayed Prince Rasselas, a young molly boy who plies his trade on the streets of Covent Garden, in the Hulu Original Harlots. In 2018, Altin played Willem Van Burgen, a disturbed paedophile suffering from syphilis, who comes from a wealthy family, suspected of being the serial killer of boys in the TNT period drama, The Alienist.

K. P. Ummer is the stage name of Snehajaan who was a Indian Malayalam cinema actor from Thekkepuram quarter of Kozhikode, Kerala, India. He was active in cinema from early sixties until late nineties. He was born to T.Mohamed koya and Beevi on 11 October 1934 in Calicut. His first film was Rarichan Enna Pauran (1956). He frequently played the villain opposite Prem Nazir, who played the hero. Ummer was also a character artist in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. In 1967, he did his first character role in the film Udhyogastha directed by P. Venu. Later he had worked in many of his films. Ummer was a professional drama actor of K.P.A.C. and other troupes.He was a brilliant football player. K. P. Ummer was the first actor in Kerala to turn down a state government award. The K.P. Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer. He won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000).
Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama.
On October 31, 2020, Connery died at the age of 90.

Clarence John "Clancy" Brown III (born January 5, 1959) is an American actor. Prolific in film and television since the 1980s, Brown is often cast in villainous and authoritative roles.
His film roles include Rawhide in The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension (1984), the Kurgan in Highlander (1986), Sheriff Gus Gilbert in Pet Sematary Two (1992), Capt. Byron Hadley in The Shawshank Redemption (1994), Sgt. Charles Zim in Starship Troopers (1997), Surtur in Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Stanley Thomas in Promising Young Woman (2020), and the Harbinger in John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023). Clarence J. Brown III was born on January 5, 1959, in Urbana, Ohio, and had an older sister, Beth, who died in 1964. Their mother, Joyce Helen (née Eldridge), was a conductor, composer and concert pianist. The siblings' father, Clarence J. "Bud" Brown Jr., was a newspaper publisher who helped manage the Brown Publishing Company, the family-owned newspaper business started by Clancy's grandfather, Congressman Clarence J. Brown. From 1965 to 1983, Bud Brown also served as a congressman, in the same seat as his own father, and later as Chairman of the Board of Brown Publishing. The family continued to operate the business until 2010.
Brown graduated from St. Albans School in Washington, D.C., and Northwestern University. At St. Albans, Brown performed the role of Deputy Governor Thomas Danforth in The Crucible.

Alain Kan (born 14 September 1947), is a French singer who disappeared on 14 April 1990.
Born Alain Michel Zisa in Paris, France, on 14 September 1947. Kan was raised by his mother and stepfather, and grew up with his stepsister Véronique, seven years older than him. "Kan" is the surname of his stepfather, Kan never knew his biological father.
In the spring of 1963, at the age of 18, Kan released his first 45 rpm at Pathé-Marconi, "Si l'amore" (written by Bob du Pac and Jean-Louis Chauby) on the A-side, and "Quand tu reviendras" (written by Michel Jourdan and Danyel Gérard) on the B-side. The following year, in 1964, he released three 4-track EPs from Decca, mostly consisting of covers of American and Canadian singers, including Paul Anka.
In the 1970s, Kan travelled to London, England, where he developed an interest in the music of Lou Reed, T. Rex, and David Bowie, who would go on to be an enormous influence on him, and he met Marie France. Inspired by the glam rock music of these musicians, Kan made a foray into glam rock with the album "Et Gary Cooper s'éloigna dans le désert..." (1975), followed by "Heureusement en France on ne se drogue pas" (1976). While recording the latter at the Château d'Hérouville, in Hérouville-en-Vexin, Val-d'Oise, he met David Bowie. Kan said of this meeting: "In Hérouville, I met Bowie, who took me away for ten days in his black Mercedes. Since then I have not missed my discoloration ... There have been lots of photos in the press and since then there has been a kind of respect for me".
Alain Kan disappeared on 14 April 1990. He was last seen at the Rue de la Pompe Parisian metro station.
In 1971, Alain Kan became the brother-in-law of singer Christophe, when Christophe married Kan's sister, Véronique.

Yoshimi P-We, (born Yoshimi Yokota (横田佳美, Yokota Yoshimi) on February 18, 1968) is a Japanese musician best known for her role as the longest consistent drummer in the Japanese rock band Boredoms. Alongside her drum playing skills with the Boredoms, she also performs on the vocals for OOIOO and also plays trumpets, guitars and keyboards as well. Born in Okayama, Japan, Yoshimi joined her first band, U.F.O. or Die, with Yamatsuka Eye in 1986.
