From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Martha Gibson (born January 14, 1939) is a Canadian actress. She is probably best known for appearing alongside her husband Louis Del Grande in the television series Seeing Things, for which she earned a Gemini Award for Best Performance by a Lead Actress in a Continuing Role in a Comedy Series in 1986. She was nominated in the same category for the same show in 1987, but lost to Dinah Christie. Gibson also appeared in other notable roles in Black Christmas (1974), Outrageous! (1977) and Murder by Phone (1982), and television series such as King of Kensington (to which she also contributed as a writer), Katts and Dog and Sweating Bullets.

Larry Jeff McMurtry (1936-2021) was an American novelist, essayist, bookseller and screenwriter whose work is predominantly set in either the old West or in contemporary Texas. He is known for his 1985 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel Lonesome Dove, a historical saga that follows ex-Texas Rangers as they drive their cattle from the Rio Grande to a new home in the frontier of Montana, and for co-writing the adapted screenplay for Brokeback Mountain. Lonesome Dove was adapted into a television miniseries, his novels Horseman, Pass By (1962), The Last Picture Show (1966), and Terms of Endearment (1975) were adapted into films. Films adapted from McMurtry's works earned 34 Oscar nominations (13 wins).

Dylan Greenberg is an American film director and musician most notable for directing the 2015 film Dark Prism. She has directed content for Adult Swim as well as the feature films ReAgitator: Revenge of the Parody, Glamarus, Wakers, and Amityville: Vanishing Point. Greenberg has directed music videos for Michael C. Hall's band Princess Goes to the Butterfly Museum, Speedy Ortiz James Chance and the Contortions Finnish funk star Sam Huber Mac Gollehon Blondie keyboardist Matt Katz-Bohen's solo project with his wife Laurel, Pastel Confession and Suicide Squeeze Records band Death Valley Girls. Greenberg directed a horror parody of Re-Animator entitled Re-Agitator: Revenge of the Parody starring Aurelio Voltaire Hernandez and Alan Merrill.

Brian Wohl

Biography

Brian Wohl is an American retired professional wrestler, better known for his ring name Julio Dinero/Fantastico. His real name is sometimes mistakenly given as Brian Wall. In the mid to late 1990s Wohl competed along the east coast in various indy promotions. Among these included the IPWA (Independent Pro Wrestling Association) Wohl was originally cast as the manager of a group known as the "Rat Pack." Jimmy Cicero and Sean "Showtime" Powers comprised that team led by the genius of Wohl's character known as Sheik Ali Amin. Amin eventually became a Sting/Crow like character who was exposed by poor production values and slamming doors in the IPWA's home "arena", The Secret Cove in 1998. In the late 1990s Wohl worked for both WCW (World Championship Wrestling as Julio Sanchez) and WWE (as Sanchez or Julio Fantastico). He was a jobber in both promotions, wrestling dark matches and on B-Shows such as WCW Thunder and Sunday Night Heat. While in WWE, he was sent to the Funkin' Dojo to train with Dory Funk, Jr. and Tom Prichard. After being booked on the infamous Heroes of Wrestling pay-per-view in 1999 against 2 Cold Scorpio, he joined Extreme Championship Wrestling, where he formed a tag team with EZ Money known as Hot Commodity. Wohl was renamed Julio Dinero and given the character of a gigolo. He made his ECW pay-per-view debut on November 5, 2000 at November To Remember 2000. Wohl remained with ECW until the promotion went bankrupt in March 2001. On February 9, 2003, Wohl debuted in Delaware Championship Wrestling competing in the first-ever DCW International Heavyweight Championship Match against "The Madman" Glen Osbourne. Wohl would go on to win the DCW Television Championship in April 2003. The Television Championship would later be renamed the No Limits Championship in 2004. In early 2004, Delaware Championship Wrestling would change its name to Dynamite Championship Wrestling. Wohl has made other appearances over the years, but not on a full-time basis. On February 26, 2003 Wohl debuted in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. In September 2003, he was a part of The Gathering, Raven's stable. Along with Raven, CM Punk and Alexis Laree, Wohl feuded with Shane Douglas and the Disciples of the New Church. On September 24 the Gathering defeated the Disciples in a Dog Collar Match, but were hanged from the rafters using chains afterwards. Alexis Laree was hired by World Wrestling Entertainment, and on December 17 Punk and Wohl turned on Raven. They feuded with Raven for several weeks before being released. Wohl continues to wrestle on the independent circuit, wrestling for KCW (Keystone Championship Wrestling) out of Altoona, PA and most recently debuted in DCW (Diamond Championship Wrestling) based in central PA. Wohl has also worked as security for the 9:30 club in Washington DC for several years. He makes appearances at the indy wrestling fed based in NJ BodySlam Wrestling Organization (BWO). On May 2, 2008 Wohl appeared as a jobber on an episode of WWE SmackDown in a match against Finlay under his Julio Dinero ring name.

Katsu Kanai

Biography

Katsu Kanai (金井 勝, Kanai Katsu, born 9 July 1936) is a Japanese experimental and avant-garde film director. The Harvard Film Archive has called him "one of the most vital and inventive filmmakers in the history of Japanese underground film". Born the son of a farmer in Kanagawa Prefecture, Kanai graduated from the College of Art of Nihon University before finding work at Daiei Film. He later became a freelance cinematographer and founded Kanai Productions in 1968. His first film, The Deserted Archipelago (1969, aka The Desert Island) won the grand prix at the Nyon International Documentary Film Festival. His second film, Good-Bye (1971), was the "first post-war, post-liberation Japanese feature to be filmed in Korea," and according to the film scholar Oliver Dew, illustrated "how a surreal, decided non-representational approach could block the determinations of cultural essentialism". His 2003 work, Super Documentary: The Avant-Garde Senjutsu, was awarded the FIPRESCI award at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen. Kanai has been the subject of retrospectives at Oberhausen, the Lausanne Underground Film and Music Festival, and the Harvard Film Archive.

MASUMI is a child of both Japan and the US. Born in Palos Verdes, CA her formative years saw her move between Tokyo, New York, Washington DC, and finally Dallas - where she began her Singer/Song-writing career. Playing in local restaurants and cafes, she earned a devoted following, just her and her guitar. She returned to Tokyo to enroll at the International Christian University. But the horrific devastating 2011 Earthquake changed her vision once again. Trapped in an underground cafe in Tokyo when the 9.0 magnitude tremor almost buried everyone alive. That day brought her back to herself, her dreams and true clarity of mind and heart. Three months later, she returned to the US to enroll in the Los Angeles College of Music (now LACMA), determined to follow her passion once again: music and performing. MASUMI has performed internationally in Sweden, NY, Italy, Tokyo. She opened for Moby at NAMM, and has collaborated with Dorian Holly (Michael Jackson), JJ Blaire (Grammy Award-winning album), Triston Boston (Grammy-nominated producer), Nash Overstreet (Hot Chelle Rae), and Ichiro Suezawa (Warner Brothers, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry), to name just a few. In 2016, word of her talent reached her home country: one of its most prestigious managers offered MASUMI the path and support to become a Japanese pop star. An offer few could refuse, however she did refuse. Knowing the only way for her to find happiness and true success would be to stay true to her path. Creating her own brand of personal music, embodying authenticity and hope. Remaining in Los Angeles, she released a very personal single about her own journey of depression and resurrection : "Run Baby, Run" in 2018, which was picked up by multiple official Spotify playlists. MASUMI is recording her next single "Cold Lips", set to be release late 2021. February 2019, MASUMI was introduced to an acting coach in Los Angeles. Looking to enrich her expression as an Artist, she jumped in to acting training with enthusiasm. Just three months later, she was offered the title role in the Warner Brothers film, "Yakuza Princess" opposite Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and Tsuyoshi Ihara. The action thriller filmed in Brazil, under the direction of Vicente Amorim. Being fluent in both English and Japanese, MASUMI was perfectly suited to play the titular lead. A lot of things are in motion, but MASUMI's goal remains the same: to inspire people to persevere, knowing life's path is filled with challenges but staying steadfast to ones extraordinary dreams . Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 - October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. On October 31, 2020, it was announced that Connery had died at the age of 90.
