From New York Times Obituary, July 19, 1984: J. Delos Jewkes, a singer and actor who supplied the voice of God for Cecil B. De Mille's "Ten Commandments," died of a heart attack here Tuesday. He was 89 years old. Mr. Jewkes appeared in about 300 films, with Shirley Temple, John Wayne and others. He was featured in all of Jeanette MacDonald's and Nelson Eddy's films. He also appeared with Hoot Gibson and on the Orpheum-Keith Vaudeville Circuit. Mr. Jewkes started his singing career in 1925 with traveling opera and light opera companies. He sang in the bass section of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and with the Salt Lake Philharmonic Orchestra.

Joshua Moody

Biography

Joshua D. Moody was born in Dallas, TX and raised in Oak Cliff. Graduating from David W. Carter High School where he played football and for a short stint in Junior College. Although he didn't play past his freshman season in college he used football as a tool to land a spot on Friday Night Lights T.V. show season 4. Joshua was the last person chosen to be a background football player because casting thought he was there for football stunts due to his physique. Throughout season 4 Joshua was upgraded three times and invited back for season 5 with a supporting role as Moody.

Veiko Õunpuu

Biography

Veiko Õunpuu (born March 16, 1972, in Saaremaa) is an Estonian film director and screenwriter who is best known for his artistic movies Autumn Ball (Sügisball, 2007) and The Temptation of St. Tony (Püha Tõnu kiusamine, 2009). Õunpuu's films are usually slow paced artistic movies with eccentric characters. In 2006 he wrote and directed the independent short film Empty (Tühirand). In 2007 he adapted Mati Unt's novel Autumn Ball (Sügisball) that won the Horizon Award at the 64th Venice International Film Festival, which remains the highest international recognition an Estonian film has ever received. In 2010 Õunpuu's second feature drama The Temptation of St. Tony (Püha Tõnu kiusamine) screened in Sundance Film Festival. The film was selected as Estonia's submission for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at the 83rd Academy Awards, but it didn't make the final shortlist. His third feature "Free Range" Premiered at 2014 Berlin International Film Festival and fourth "Roukli"(2015) at 28th Tokyo International Film Festival in 2016. "Free Range" was selected as the Estonian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 86th Academy Awards, but it was not nominated. Õunpuu has also done two stage directions in NO99 theatre in Tallinn. In 2010 Rainer Werner Fassbinder's play "City, Garbage and Death" and in 2016 Bertolt Brecht's "Mother Courage".

Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer. He won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. On October 31, 2020, Connery died at the age of 90.

Brett was shot and left for dead in 2012 after intervening in an armed robbery. After twenty days in a coma and losing a kidney, third of his colon and the lower part of his right leg, Brett had a decision to make; Roll over and die, or get out of bed and earn his second shot in life. He chose the latter. Since then, Brett, who was medically retired after 6 years as a “Naval Aircrewman: Flight Engineer (E-3)”, has competed in all kinds of “Adaptive Sports” competitions and recently competed in Prince Harry’s “Invictus Games” in both Sitting Volleyball and Swimming where Brett was awarded the Gold medal (Sitting Volleyball) and a Silver medal (Swimming: 200 Relay). Brett has also competed in the D.O.D. Warrior Games and was awarded Four Gold and Two Silver medals and is on the USA Sitting Volleyball Paralympic team; eyeing the Paralympics in Tokyo in 2020. Jeff Fischer is an American voice actor known for his work in commercials, cartoons, and video games. In 2005 he was chosen to announce the Teen Choice Awards. Among Fischer's animation credits are the reoccurring role MC Cobra in the Jackie Chan Adventures and a guest-starring role as Gary in the Spider-Man animated series. Anthony Edward Visconti (born April 24, 1944) is an American record producer, musician and singer. Since the late 1960s, he has worked with an array of performers. His first hit single was T. Rex's "Ride a White Swan" in 1970, the first of many hits in collaboration with Marc Bolan. Visconti's lengthiest involvement was with David Bowie: intermittently from the production and arrangement of Bowie's 1968 single "In the Heat of the Morning" / "London Bye Ta-Ta" to his final album Blackstar in 2016, Visconti produced and occasionally performed on many of Bowie's albums. Visconti's work on Blackstar was awarded the Grammy Award for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical and his production of Angelique Kidjo's Djin Djin received the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary World Music Album.
