Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 - October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. On October 31, 2020, it was announced that Connery had died at the age of 90.

Stuart Organ

Biography

Stuart Adrian Organ (8 November 1951 – 15 February 2024) was a British actor, best known for his role as teacher Peter Robson on the television series Grange Hill. He appeared as the character for 15 years, from 1988 to 2003, across 260 episodes. Organ was best known for his portrayal of the character Mr. Robson in the children's television drama Grange Hill. Organ portrayed the series' longest-serving teacher, arriving in 1988 as the new head of PE. In 1998 he finally landed the headmaster's job, but left the series in 2003 soon after production of Grange Hill transferred to Liverpool. Prior to Grange Hill, Organ appeared as Kevin Cross in the Mersey TV soap opera Brookside, and played Bazin in the Doctor Who story Dragonfire in 1987. Thereafter, he appeared in a variety of roles on T.V., including Monk, a flasher who exposed himself to Anna and yet was defended by Miles in This Life; Richard Thornton, who stalked Acting D.I. Sam Nixon across a double episode special in The Bill; and later as D.I. Dixon in 2000, Leighton Peters, a top civil servant who was responsible for the downfall of Anthony Calf's regular in a double episode of Holby City and as solicitor Steve Morris in series 13, episode 14 of London's Burning. Alissa Filoramo

Biography

Filoramo was responsible for the production of the short film Young Liars, which was shown at the HP Lovecraft Film Festival & CthuluCon in 2018. In the same film she took on one of the leading roles. From 2019 she took acting classes at various acting studios. That same year she was cast in the short film VEM Exotic Rentals. In 2020 she had a major film role and an additional supporting role in the feature film Battle Star Wars. She had newer casts in the feature film The Transcenders and in two episodes of the television series The Family Business and many more.

After growing up on a small farm in rural Michigan, Abi attended Syracuse University and obtained her BFA in Acting. She has a varied performance background with strengths in Shakespeare and Classical theatre, film and improv/sketch comedy. Most notably, Abi can be seen alongside Mark Ruffalo and Anne Hathaway in Dark Waters, directed by Todd Haynes. Haley was born in Los Angeles, the son of actor Jack Haley and his wife Florence. He was best known as the director of the 1974 compilation film That's Entertainment! and as the husband of Liza Minnelli, who was the daughter of Haley's father's co-star in The Wizard of Oz, Judy Garland. Haley's other credits include producer and executive producer of Academy Awards presentation shows, and director of the 1971 film The Love Machine. Victoria originally grew up on Long Island, NY. Her love for film/television comes from the countless movie nights she had with her family growing up. Every week, her parents would take her & her siblings to the DVD Rental Store, where she could browse the packed aisles and take home whichever movie had the most intriguing cover (Usually these were horror movies, in which she had a fascination with). She made her feature film debut at just 5 years old, and spent the entirety of her childhood and teenage years participating in shows at her school & local community theatres. At 18, Victoria packed her bags and moved to New York City to pursue acting in film/television. Concurrently, she graduated honours with a Psychology degree from Hunter College, in which she actively uses in her acting methods and character research. Her studies in college also included Acting on Camera, On-Camera Techniques & Self-Tape Prep, Acting in Realism & Non-Realism, Directing for Theatre, and Character Body & Speech.

Edward Tudor-Pole is an English musician, television presenter and actor. Originally gaining fame in the United Kingdom in the late 1970s as the lead singer of the punk rock band Tenpole Tudor, Tudor-Pole began an acting career following the group's split in 1982.
