Claudio Isaac (15 April 1957 – 27 November 2024) was a Mexican film director and screenwriter. He entered filmmaking as a child actor in Tiempo de morir and later worked in production at the Secretariat of Public Education’s film department, before assisting Arturo Ripstein on Foxtrot. He wrote and directed the autobiographical debut feature Crónica íntima, then concentrated on documentary and cultural television, including films on poets Jaime Sabines, Guadalupe Amor, and Octavio Paz. He wrote the first episode and directed episodes of the anthology series Hora Marcada, returned to fiction with El día que murió Pedro Infante, and later directed Sin Dios y sin Diablo, Jaime Sabines y sus lectores, alongside long-running documentary series such as Palabra empeñada and Santo y seña.

Dean Cain (born Dean George Tanaka; July 31, 1966) is an American actor. His mother, actress Sharon Thomas, married his adoptive father, director Christopher Cain; when Dean was three. Though he grew up in Malibu and attended Santa Monica High School, his career plans favored professional football over acting. While at Princeton, he completed a history major, dated Brooke Shields for two years, and set an NCAA record for interceptions in a season. After signing with the Buffalo Bills, a knee injury ended his pro career before it began. Though he had already played a part in his father's The Stone Boy (1984), he went through the usual route of commercials and tv-parts (notably, "Beverly Hills, 90210" (1990) in 1990) before landing his break-through role as Superman/Clark Kent in the series "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" (1993).

Pia Zadora (born May 4, 1954) is an American actress and singer. After working as a child actress on Broadway, in regional theater, and in the film Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (1964), she came to national attention in 1981 when, following her starring role in the highly criticized Butterfly, she won a Golden Globe Award as New Star of the Year.
When her film career failed to take off, she became a singer of popular standards and made several successful albums backed by a symphonic orchestra; as a singer she earned a measure of respect from critics who had previously written her off as an actress.

Chu Tien-Wen

Chu Tien-Wen (Chinese: 朱天文, born August 24, 1956 in Taipei, Taiwan) is one of Taiwan's most prominent writers. She is the daughter of Chu Hsi-Ning and the older sister of Chu Tien-Hsin. Some of her literary works include "Fin-de-Siècle Splendour" (1990) and Notes of a Desolate Man (1994). She wrote many of the scripts for the famous Taiwanese director Hou Hsiao-Hsien. Her screenwriting credits include movies like Taipei Story, The Puppetmaster, Goodbye South, Goodbye, Millenium Mambo, A City of Sadness and many more.

Norman Wisdom
Biography
Sir Norman Joseph Wisdom, OBE was an English actor, comedian and singer-songwriter best known for a series of comedy films produced between 1953 and 1966 featuring his hapless onscreen character Norman Pitkin. These films initially made more money than the James Bond film series, and secured Wisdom a celebrity status in lands as far apart as South America, Iran and many Eastern Bloc countries, particularly in Albania where his films were permitted by Enver Hoxha – Wisdom was the only Western actor to enjoy this privilege. Charlie Chaplin famously referred to Wisdom as his "favourite clown".
Wisdom later forged a career on Broadway and as a television actor, winning critical acclaim for his dramatic role of a dying cancer patient in the television play Going Gently in 1981. It was broadcast on 5 June that year. He toured Australia and South Africa. After the 1986 Chernobyl disaster, a hospice was named in his honour. In 1995 he was given the Freedom of the City of London and of Tirana. The same year he received an OBE. Wisdom was knighted in 2000 and spent much of his later life on the Isle of Man. Some of his later appearances included roles in Last of the Summer Wine and Coronation Street, and he retired from acting at the age of 90 after his health declined.

Jacques Veneruso
Biography
Jacques Veneruso (born 1959) is an Algerian-born French musician and songwriter. Between 1976 and 1988, he played in the band Canada, and since then has worked as a songwriter for various French-language artists.
In 1976, Veneruso, together with Gildas Arzel (guitar), Gwenn Arzel (drums), Erick Benzi (percussion, keyboard, saxophone), and Robert Prud'homme formed the group Alenda in Marseille, France. They later moved to Paris, changing their name to Canada and signing a contract with EMI. Canada released their first single, "Les yeux dans les yeux", in 1984. "Touché au cœur" followed a year later. In 1986, they presented a new single to their label, titled "Mourir les sirènes", but EMI refused to release it for nearly a year. In January 1987, the song entered the French Top 50 singles chart, where it remained for fourteen weeks, reaching number 27. It ranks as the 105th best-selling single of that year, with more than 300,000 copies sold. In 1988, Canada published their only studio album, titled Sur les traces. Later that year, they were spotted by musician Jean-Jacques Goldman, who invited them to join him on his 1988 tour. In 1989, Canada released their last single, "Ne m'oublie pas", which was later recorded by Johnny Hallyday and issued on his 1995 album, Lorada. Veneruso contributed songwriting, vocals, and both electric and acoustic guitar to Lorada.
Veneruso has written songs for a variety of French-speaking artists, such as Patrick Fiori, Florent Pagny, Michel Sardou, Yannick Noah, Garou, and Celine Dion. He has worked as music director for Pagny, Fiori, Sardou, and Carole Fredericks.
In 2004, Veneruso wrote two tribute songs to his friend Carole Fredericks, three years after her death: "Ce qui nous manque de toi", interpreted by Lââm together with Jean-Jacques Goldman, Michael Jones, and Veneruso himself, and "Un dernier blues pour toi", sung by Jones and included on his 2004 album, Prises et reprises.
In 2010, Veneruso served on the French jury at the Eurovision Song Contest, alongside Varda Kakon, Florence Coste, Jean-Pierre Pasqualini, and Olivier Ottin.

Sean Connery

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer. He won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000).
Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama.
On October 31, 2020, Connery died at the age of 90.

Has worked as a dance instructor, editor, film publicist, film crew member, and art school assistant, and develops visual art performances and sessions that transcend genres. Major works include The Rain (selected for the 1982 Pia FilmFestival), O-de-ka-ke Diary (Grand Prize at the 1989 Image ForumFestival), The Sleeping Flower (Special Jury Prize at the 1991 Image ForumFestival), and A Dandelion (Rosaceae) (1990 Ebiten golden director). Active in nurturing young talent as coordinator of arts events and workshops, and teaches at universities including Musashino Art University, Tama Art University, and at the Art and Architecture School of Waseda University.

Mary Stockley is a British stage, television and film actress.
A former member of the National Youth Music Theatre, Stockley studied drama at university. She made her first television appearance in 2001 in the TV film Being Dom Joly, in 2002, going on to play Kate Matherson in thirty episodes of Family Affairs on Five. Stockley played Josie Turner in The Body in the Library- Agatha Christie's Marple (2004), Gina Way in Jericho (2005), Edie Covington in The Inspector Lynley Mysteries (2006), Mrs. Clay in Persuasion (2007), Tess in Britz (2007), Miss Jay in Ballet Shoes (2007), and Eve Carpenter in Mrs. McGinty's Dead- Agatha Christie's Poirot (2008).
Her film appearances include Ruth Ellis in Pierrepoint (2005), Ruth in V for Vendetta (2006), Kate in Artifacts (2007), Michelle in 7 Lives (2011), Mrs. Fisher in The Woman in Black (2012), Ana in I Spit on Your Grave 2 (2013), and Assistant in Diana (2013).She also voices characters in Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Stockley's theatre credits include Oliver!; Merrily We Roll Along (2000) at the Donmar Warehouse; Hope Harcourt in the musical Anything Goes (2002) and Katherine in Love's Labour's Lost (2003), both the latter at the Royal National Theatre. In 2008, she played Marigold in The Common Pursuit at the Menier Chocolate Factory. She played Judy in the National Theatre's production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.
