Feridun Karakaya

Biography

A well-known Turkish comedy actor. Karakaya educated in Kabataş Erkek Lisesi. He took part in several stage and film productions between years 1955 and 2002. He is best remembered with his famous character "Cilalı İbo" (Ibo the Polished). He died of heart failure at the age of 76. Due to his competent Molière interpretations, he was awarded with Légion d'Honneur. He was laid to rest at the Zincirlikuyu Cemetery following the religious funeral ceremony held in Teşvikiye Mosque on 26 April 2004, at the time when he could not see his latest movie released.

Humaima Malick was born on the 18th of November, 1987, in Quetta. She was discovered at the tender age of fourteen by Saqib Malik, who cast her in a nationwide campaign for Fair&Lovely and Humaima has not looked back since. Humaima rose to fame at a very young age and the stars seemed to be in her favor for she went on to bagging ad campaigns of renowned brands like Pepsi, in which she was the youngest actress, and also Telenor where she played the lead role. Humaima started her career with ad campaigns of big brands and has been associated with skincare and beauty brands like Sunsilk and Lux. she was the Lux girl of Pakistan for quiet sometime and Lux is a brand which has been associated with beautiful women of Pakistani society . She was also the brand ambassador of Samsung Galaxy Series. Humaima Malick is so far the only Pakistani actress who has managed to be brand ambassador of two of renowned mobile companies 'Samsung and Huawei'. Humaima transitioned into the realm of serious acting when she was cast in TV serial Ishq Junoon Dewanagi and Akbari Asghari, both as a female lead. These TV serials established Humaima as a household name and contributed to her sound acting skills but it was not up until Shoaib Mansoor's Bol that Humaima gained international critical recognition and acclaim. This was Humaima's most loved and acknowledged role, she was enchanting as Zainab and gave a powerhouse performance proving that she was not just a pretty face but a very serious actor too. She won various national and international awards for her performance as Zainab in Bol. Her other projects have also fared well at the box office and has established Humaima as a force to be reckoned with in the industry. ​From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.  George Edward Foreman (nicknamed "Big George") (born January 10, 1949) was an American two-time former World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Olympic gold medalist, ordained Baptist minister, author and successful entrepreneur. He is credited as being one of the hardest hitters in boxing history. His most notable fights in his early career were his knockout (TKO-2) against Joe Frazier in Kingston, Jamaica, on January 22, 1973 and his loss to Muhammad Ali (KO by 8) in "The Rumble in the Jungle" in Kinshasa, Zaire, on October 30, 1974. He later became the oldest man ever to become heavyweight boxing champion of the world when at age 45, he knocked out (KO-10) Michael Moorer, age 26, on November 5, 1994 to reclaim the title he held more than 20 years earlier. He has been named one of the 25 greatest fighters of all time by Ring magazine. He is now a successful businessman and an ordained Christian minister who has his own church. An alumnus of the Film and Television of India, Samadarshi Dutta is a Bengali film actor who made his debut in the film industry with Anasua Roy Chowdhury`s 2011 movie Hing Ting Chot. The same year, he was cast in the National Film Award-winning movie Ami Aadu, which chronicles the life of a poor Bengali village girl, Aadu, who writes a letter to the then US President, penning down the hardships that were caused to her due to the 2003 invasion of Iraq, which subsequently led to the Iraq War. The movie opened to positive reviews and garnered immense praise and critical acclaim. Next, he was seen in the director duo Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy`s debut Icche, which found its place in the National Film Archive of India and has been included in the Calcutta University`s Study of Women`s Stress and Distress Management. Playing the role of Pablo Patranabis, the ghost of a rock musician, in the ghost comedy Bhooter Bhabishyat in 2012, which opened to positive reviews and was also a commercial success. Valerie Masterson

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Margaret Valerie Masterson (born 3 June 1937), is a retired English opera singer, a lecturer and Vice-President of British Youth Opera. After study in Italy, she began to sing opera in Europe. Returning to England, Masterson performed as principal soprano with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company from 1964 to 1969, becoming popular with audiences and participating in several of the company's recordings, as well as those of Gilbert and Sullivan for All and the BBC. She next joined English National Opera and went on to an international opera career lasting more than three decades. Although she performed a wide variety of roles, she was best known for her roles in the French repertoire and the works of Handel, as well as Gilbert and Sullivan. Her recordings include, in addition to many opera roles, operettas and musical theatre. She has been awarded a CBE and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Music. Claudio Baglioni (born 16 May 1951) is an Italian pop singer-songwriter and musician. His career has been going on for over 50 years. Some songs from the 70s are part of Italian culture as Questo piccolo grande amore proclaimed Italian song of the century in 1985. In the 80s he released the two best-selling albums ever in Italy Strada facendo and La vita è adesso. And in the 90s he embraced World Music with the discs of the time trilogy, which began with Oltre (1990), continued with the incredible success of Io sono qui (1995) and ended with Viaggiatore sulla coda del tempo (1999). In 2006 he composed the anthem of the 2006 Winter Olympics. Around 1968 he composed the Annabel Lee musical suite, based on a poem by Edgar Allan Poe. In 1969, he released his first single and recorded the single Signora Lia; a comic song that tells of a lady's marital infidelity, over time the song will become a cult of Italian pop music despite its poor initial success. He collaborated with Italian singer Mia Martini for her debut album. Success came only in 1972, with the album Questo piccolo grande amore; the homonymous song in 1985 will be awarded as the Italian song of the century. In 1974, he recorded the album E tu ... with Vangelis. In 1975, it comes out Sabato pomeriggio; a concept album about waiting, based on Giacomo Leopardi's poems. The live album Assolo is based on the concert at the stadium in the city of Milan to which almost 100,000 people will flock, the triple album was a commercial success in Europe. The success of Claudio in this decade is so high that around the end of 1985 the first collection for the European market of the singer-songwriter was released, entitled Claudio Baglioni, containing the best ten songs of the singer-songwriter of the 80s. Lucy Karima Gutteridge (born 28 November 1956) is an English actress. Gutteridge was born in London, the eldest daughter of Bernard Hugh Gutteridge by his marriage to Nabila Farah Karima Halim, the daughter of Prince Muhammad Said Bey Halim of Egypt and his British second wife, Nabila Malika (née Morwena Bird). Gutteridge is a great-great-great-granddaughter of Muhammad Ali of Egypt, a Muslim subject of the Ottoman Empire (likely of Albanian ethnicity) who became the father of modern Egypt. As such, she is a distant cousin of Egypt's last king, Farouk. Gutteridge was nominated for a Golden Globe in the "Actress In A Leading Role - Mini-Series Or Television Movie" for the 1982 television miniseries, Little Gloria... Happy at Last. In the series, she portrayed Gloria Morgan Vanderbilt, the mother of the artist and writer Gloria Vanderbilt. She also has appeared in such films as Top Secret! and Judith Krantz's Till We Meet Again. Now retired, Gutteridge is divorced from the actor Andrew Hawkins and lives in Westbourne. Born in Newbury, Massachusetts, Spanger made her Broadway debut in 1995 in the musical Sunset Boulevard, following a half-year run in the pre-Broadway national tour of Jekyll & Hyde. She originated the role of Lois Lane (Bianca) in the Broadway revival of Kiss Me, Kate. In Chicago she played Roxie Hart, and in Urinetown as Hope Cladwell. In 2006 she originated the role of Holly in The Wedding Singer. Spanger also appeared in the national touring companies of Rent and Chicago. She originated the role of Susan in the off-Broadway production of the Jonathan Larson musical tick, tick... BOOM!. Other stage credits include: Lunch, and Feeling Electric, which later became Next to Normal, in which she co-starred with actor Anthony Rapp. She originated the role of Sherrie in the Broadway musical Rock of Ages, but took an extended leave from the production in early June 2009 for vocal rest before permanently departing the production on June 29 for "personal reasons." She more recently originated the role of Jovie in the stage musical adaption of Will Ferrell's Christmas comedy, Elf, that ran on Broadway for nine weeks at the Al Hirschfeld Theater and closed on January 2, 2011.
